I'm loving this amazing master piece, thank you so much KORN for these amazing songs.
Overall pretty intense and phenomenal album!
This album is very dull , all the songs sound the same and very one noted ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Brutally awesome! Love it! Awakens memories of Korn's golden ages and creates new ones!
KoRn just put out an incredible piece of art. I recommend you buy it because you'll love it!
This album makes me want more. Makes me want to inadvertently make JD feel like a 'Freak on a Leash' again because I want more. The lyrics are dark and amazing. The music is straight up Korn like you haven't heard before and then again when you hear it true Korn fans will recognize some old school sound mixed with the new. All I can say is 'Shuffle & Repeat.'
Then you will love this album. This album is much heavier than they're last 3 albums.
The beginning of Insane is amazing! So in love with this album!!! ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Why i love korn!!!๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผโ๐ฝโ๐ฝ๐๐๐
Wow. This is a great record. First listen I thought it was ok? Kinda like the rest... but after 5 listens this record is absolutely killer!!! Best song on the record is 'Black is the Soul' ...
Whole album is fantastic. Has a real Issues feel to it, probably why it has the same artwork. Best album since Issues and I absolutely love Untouchables, Take a Look in the Mirror, and See You on the Other Side. This album just has that deep, raw Korn sound. It's great to hear it again. I love Korn!!!!
I mean, lets face it... two major releases from two major and important bands, and while I think people were anticipating the new Metallica record, I think is the better, more solid release. I like the new Metallica, but I only really go to a few songs now, whereas with the new Korn, I can cruise and listen to the whole album front to back without skipping a song because it's that good! This is the most I've gotten out of purchasing a record from a band since I can remember. So yea returning to my opening statement, Korn outdid Metallica big time with this record and it's truly awesome. One that I'll continue to listen to years from now... Their music videos are better too!
Best album, evolved and improved from previous albums.
It has been some time since I last felt compelled to write a review for anything, but this album deserves to be noticed. I will be honest, I am no die hard Korn fan by any means, but I did grow up during the post-grunge/nu-metal era, and I definitely rocked out to plenty of Korn along the way. They lost me on a few of their recent albums when they experimented with different sounds and styles, but this new album is rock solid. The songwriting is filled with energy, passion, and a darkness that is somehow inspiring at the same time. The guitar is absolutely spot-on, while the signature distorted bass is pulled back in the mix a little more than usual (but almost sounds better this way). Drums are crazy intense and on-point throughout. From start to close, this album is in your face and on fire. The mix and production is excellent. I also love the collaboration with Corey from Slipknot - it's not forced or awkward like some collabs are. It's just two stellar vocalists from one awesome era of music doing their thing on a killer song that is super haunting. Chaotic. Melodic. Hypnotic... This will surely rank high in my list of favorite hard rock albums of the last 10 years. Enjoy.
Everything about this album is great. I am a huge Korn fan and this album is one of my favorite albums they have released so far. Unlike other bands who tend to sour over the years, Korn still rocks just as hard as they did in the 90's!!!
All you "kids" saying KoRn is back are obviously deaf. This is borderline POP music. Boring boring and boring.
Honestly, the first two albums are my favorite. I feel like The Untouchables was the last album I actually enjoyed. This album has really put my faith back into this band. I would just like to show some appreciation for this album.
Best album I've heard in a while.
Best
Recently, Korn's newer music hasn't been as enjoyable until now. The mysterious journey, the dark story of personal-struggle, it all comes together into an awesome album that brings Korn fans back to the old glory days. Awesome album and way to get back out there!
I LOVE this album; sounds like the old Korn, every song is great! Great buy๐ค
I โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ this album when it first dropped listened to in like 5 times in 1 day . Korn did a great job โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
I've been waiting a very long time for this album. For years korn have lost their way but this album is simply amazing and ranks up there with their first three releases. I think I've listened to this album at least 15 times of the past three or four days and it simply gets better and better with each listen.
These lyrics are designed to make people who already sad to kill themselves, Jonathan Davis.
Jonathan's scatting is oh so good and Corey Taylor in different world is amazing. You did a great job returning korn.
Very Good, perfect. Congratulations Guys
I've been a fan of korn since I was a kid when their first album came out. I noticed on recent past albums their style changed. This new albums sound takes me back to their OG style of music and a little bit of their new sound. I love every song on this cd and the lyrics โค๏ธ the music is awesome!!! great album I'm impressed ๐๐ผ
Korn is back again good music!
Killer Album , worth the Download and your Money !!! Korn Rockzzzzz !!!
Not back to their roots but such a great mix of new and old..Love the Life is Peachy sound with a bit of Follow the Leader..
Excellent album and well deserved 5 star rating..!!
This album is great on so many levels!Next In Line should be the next single!!!Great job guys in Korn,a SOLID album
I knew the album was going to be great, but I didn't realize it was going to be straight up amazing! They have updated their sound, but still stuck with their roots and have been loyal to what the fans want. I'd kill to see them live and listen to this album live!!
Granted it at least sounds like they are moving away form their ill advized forway into dubstep, but come on guys. Spare me with the obnoxiously contrived "emotion". Either cut the c**p or invest in a therapist. the early 200's are over. move on, progress.
Best we seen from Korn in a while !
Amazing album. A must have for any KoRn fan.
You can tell Brian "head" Welsh is back and bringing his unique musical influences to this new album. Couldn't be more stoked of how well this Album turned out. You can really feel this one and the breakdowns are so dope!!! Definitely worth checking out. Don't judge just on the Singles. The rest of the Album is where it's really at. Enjoy
Old school korn all the way! Great come back album
Ohhhhhhh man....the song rotting in vain brings back the days of old Korn.....ADIDAS, freak on a leash, etc....the intense metal is what one needs after dealing with the people of public....Korn keep doing what you do....ya'll are the best! Send me some tickets man! Lol
Not their best, but dam good. One of best releases in long time... nothing can touch... UNTOUCHABLES though!
This album is a mix of their 90s sound and their more modern sound. Every single song on this album gave me goosebumps!!! This is the only album that I own, out of all the artists, that has given me goosebumps on every song. It is a great feeling that draws me deeper into the song.
This is the best Korn album in years. I hear a lot of Issues and Untouchables on this album with touches of Korn, Life is Peachy, and Follow the Leader. This is the album I was hoping to get when Head came back. It is an equal mix of early Korn, middle years Korn, and their new sound. I really hope they can recapture the magic of Follow the Leader on their next album!
Nice work! So different- half steps are cool, frequent. love the inharmonics. vocals mixed low in spots with low mids so words are difficult. really liked take me. awesome drummer. would love to have heard guitar rip it with other lines muted more
I could seriously sit and listen to this whole album on repeat and not skip a single song. I honestly don't even know how to describe how amazing this album is...
Sounds like there good stuff but the box are weird
KoRn is back ๐ค Loved it , one of the best albums ๐
If I could give more stars, I would. Back to heavy roots....one knock, no hip hop collaborations. Great album!
I recently saw Korn on tour and they played only Rotting in Vain before the album dropped. Now I want to see them again to hear more of this album!!! Almost every song is gold. The songs you'll know are Insane, Rotting in Vain, a different world (Feat Corey Taylor from slipknot), and take me. My personal favorite though is either Everything Falls apart or Insane. Both are amazing songs. Just buy the cd it's worth every penny.
Being born in 93' I sadly didn't discover Korn until 04's Greatest Hits, ever since that album I've bough everything in their catalogue and became somewhat of a collector amongst their rare albums/singles, and I can honestly say this album is in their top 3! It's time to remind people of what metal should be and what made Korn the band they are today! Crank it up loud!
This soundtrack is amazing. It goes straight back to the heart of the band's original sound. In my humble opinion, those who judged this album poorly just don't get it, and should probably give up on the genre altogether. EXCELLENT New Release, guys!!
One or two good tracks but I was kind of dissapointed as a whole. I was looking forward this one. I was hoping it would be like the old Korn where each track really has meaning.
