The heartbeat in the percussion is so unique, the beautiful-sometimes haunting harmony, smart meaningful lyrics, mix of old and new country, and then there's Miranda's one of a kind style and talent. No two songs are alike. Just when I think I've found my favorite, the next one comes on. Thanks for making it a double.

Love this album. It's a soul searching, heart revelation, rebounding piece of art to be appreciated. Kudos Miranda!

If you don't like this album, it either went right over your head or you just cannot stand the thought of country songwriting that is so vulnerable and different.

I love Miranda and her music but this album just doesn't speak to me. There are a few songs that I kinda like but besides that I'm very disappointed! I think it is good that she is able to make her music so personal and show how she feels about something but I just don't like this album. I still love her though and I'm excited to see what's next!

If u want real good country music try Carrie Underwood. I hate to say it but the tones used almost hurt my ears. Her music makes me feel uncomfortable. Sad I expected better.

This entire album is full of emotion and heart. It is by far Miranda's best album yet, you will find your self laughing, crying, and jamming along to this album. It will connect to you in some way.

Wow! I've heard a song or two from Miranda in the past and thought "Meh... take it or leave it." Which has generally been my attitude about most country music of the past 10 years. But this is different... special... I figured like most double albums, I'd be able to cherry pick 2-3 good songs to buy, but the more I listened to the previews, the more I was having trouble NOT buying the entire album. So I did. No regrets! There are at least 10 strong songs on this set. And the rest are at a minimum, passably good.

This album got its high ratings, not because the album was great, but just because it was Miranda. A couple of good songs does not warrant a 3 or 4 star rating. I have all of her other albums, but not going to buy this one. I'll download the couple of decent songs!

She keeps it real in everything she does. One of the few artists that writes her own music. So great!!!!

Miranda has done it again, she doesn't project false emotion. She sings from the heart and embodies what it means to write/sing. She continually projects real life issues in a way that we can all relate to and is again doing it in a professional but yet personal level in some aspects. I love this album. I am just glad she is staying true to herself and her music.

Miranda always disappoints, haven't liked any of her songs except for the duet with Carrie. If you want real country music, listen to Carrie Underwood. Seriously where is her heart in her songs? I feel like she never puts emotion into them.

Based on the dates, most of the positive reviews were submitted prior to album release as the songs are just plain boring with the same sound. Not worth buying.

This is the first track on the album. It is so darn good. Here are some of the best lyrics! "I carry them around with me I don't mind having scars. Happiness ain't prison but there's freedom in a broken heart" Or..."the smoker and the fighter and the one in every song I sing"

I like "Vice" and "Keeper of the Flame" but that's it. I REALLY wanted to fall in love with more of these songs, especially since there's 2 discs. It's not that Miranda's writing and voice aren't good- she's very talented and has been one of my favorite Country ladies for years; however, these songs are lacking. They're missing something. Most of these songs don't have much a hook or anything that makes you go, 'Wow!" I think maybe Miranda wanted to release an album that's less "main-stream" but I wish she had just a few songs on here that were made to be radio hits. I'm sad to say this album is boring.

I love Miranda but I'm not loving this album. Sounds like she's trying to get back at Blake but failing miserably. How unfortunate? Hope her next album is better.

I love it. Miranda has always been true to what country music is.

I honestly think people need to stop slandering Miranda for this album. I think she did a great job and as far as her sound she sounds more country now then she has ever sounded. finally we go back to the roots of country music with a steel guitar. I am glad this album wasnt as rock sounding. I hate when country artists go pop or rock that is why I havent liked a lot of this new country that is coming out now. I was extremely pleased and happy with this album and with Miranda's sound. This is definately not pop sounding at all. Thank you Miranda for an amazing album.

I love this whole album! She put so much of her heart into this album, and it shows!!!! I love the raw emotion, and how she isn't afraid to be real! His is definitely one you can listen to over and over again... ALL THE WAY THROUGH! ❤

Every single song on this album is amazing. My favorites: For the Birds, Six Degrees, Well Rested, Pushing Time, Bad Boy, Dear Old Sun, Highway Vagabond, and To Learn Her.

I kinda like Vice, but the two other songs aren't good. Highway Vagabond is the worst. I really don't like the production of the song, especially when it comes to the vocals. Keeper of the Flame is just a little bit slow and boring. Some titles don't sound good, starting with the first song, and Highway Vagabond, itself. The two worst songs are For the Birds and You Wouldn't Know Me. Covered Wagon sounds like an old song, with that riff at the beginning. Dear Old Sun doesn't sound finished. The guitars on Six Degress of Separation sound cheep and not that good. The best songs are Tin Man, Runnn' Just in Case, Vice and Pushin' Time. Use My Heart is a good one too, not the best though. Good Old Days has kinda grown on me also.

I don't get the draw with Miranda anyway. Not a voice worth talking about and the songs on this album sound like crap.

6th album and it's another strong one. Incredible songs, full of heart, soul and occasionally a hilarious one.

I have every other Miranda cd but this one. Definitely not worth the money...the songs are boring and all the same sound. Nothing is upbeat and peppy like she use to be. I wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Wow! This album is brilliant in the songwriting and the producing just everything is perfect. Her voice is beautiful as usual. How did I not know she released a new album?? So underrated. It's worth the buy for sure. I love tin man, pink sunglasses, and runnin' just in case the best so far.

Miranda's albums are always amazing but The Weight of These Wings is perfection! You can feel Miranda in every song. The emotion is raw and inspiring.

I was looking forward to her CD she is one of my favorite singers when I heard vice I was like she still has it but the rest of the songs were so blah, like I miss the old Miranda where so was loading shot guns and being the crazy ex girlfriend. I am not feeling this. Hopefully it will grow on me......

Miranda has done it again. I hope she wins a lot of awards for these two albums. The woman can write songs so well. Her album is an obvious self reflection, and then her moving on and finding better things to do. I appreciate the time, and experimenting with new instruments on these albums. Miranda stated that she wrote 72 songs, I'm ready to hear the rest of her work/art! Really feel the woman could do a rock album/song and make it her own. She's just so darn awesome, and I am planning to see her in concert again! Her and Keith Urban (We were Us) sound great together!! I'd love to hear her and Chris Janson do a duet together. Woohoo! I just may download these albums lol. Never bought an album off of itunes, but Miranda would be worth it lol.

I've been a Miranda lambert fan since the day she came out with crazy ex girlfriend. She has been an inspiration to me growing up, her words in her songs has always spoken to me, and this new cd just tops everything! ❤ MI
