As expected...nothing but fabulous....

For those judging without a proper listen, give it a chance. Why do we have to put the artist in a box? The album is pretty dope IMHO. I was a little skeptical at 1st, but Mr. Legend has never let me down. If you pass on it because of the explicit lyrics, you’ll be missing a great album…Stabd-out tracks are Surefire, Overload, Darkness and Light and Penthouse Floor

I love this album! It's different yes, from what we are used to hearing. "Love Me Now," is oddly my least favorite track on this album. "Overload" featuring Miguel is definitely one of my favorites! I mean who could ask for two greats on the same track? "Surefire" and others are sexy and commanding. It's a more sensual yet take charge John Legend and I dig it.

I expected it to be impossible to create more addictive music than the last recordings. How could I have underestimated John Legend? I don't know - but it won't happen again. He's a musical genius who's probably not even given us the best of what he's got in him. This is amazing. This makes me want to dance and be joyful and generous of spirit. Thanks for reminding us to be present and rooted in the business of now. Awestruck. Grateful. Thanks, Mr. Legend.

John Legend is amazing. The rest of the album will be amazing. The song that is titled in parenthesis (for Luna) will make you all cry. It's for his daughter and I haven't even heard it yet and I'm crying so... I love John Legend, he's amazing.

What I look about john Legend is he always has a new sound when it comes to an album that's shows that he has grown so far with the few songs I have heard I give the album five stars.

I would have to agree with mrsseanseansean1, people are so petty. Every time you see explicit, it doesn't necessarily means that its' bad, even MJ had some cuss words in his songs. I love this CD and I love John Legend. Stop being so judgmental without evenlistening to the entire CD. If you are a true fan , you would know this is not his first "PARENTAL ADVISORY "CD, he just made it known this time!...

I'm on the fence with this album. I thought it would be more of john and the piano type music. This album is different and more up beat. Few songs sound like Justin Bieber's beats. But I'm a huge fan so I will give it a go.

You can tell john has evolved to a new place in his life. A new chapter. As it should be. You can go with him or not. I'm Goin! Love the new song"Love me now" It makes you feel. When your sad it makes you feel good, when your happy you sing with it.

I find it troubling that people are giving this project one star when they're only a couple of samples to listen to. There are four songs out of the 12 on the project that are explicit. There was nothing explicit in the one song sample available that I could hear. Nobody's even heard the rest of the album and he's an adult artist with an adult following. Don't be so puritanical. The man's got a message and I trust him enough as an artist to present them accordingly. Plus that's why iTunes but she buy whatever songs you want.

Another solid project from John Legend. If you like his previous works, you'll love this one. Picks up where Love in the Future ended. Nice addition to an already phenomenal discography.

Much luv to John Legend and his team for crafting another really good album. His last album was his best yet. This album is different and pretty solid. It's still soulful. It should do well on the charts. Keep doing your thing John!
