You can't throw some rap vocals on some radio-polished music and call it going back to Infest. Infest was a lot more raw and wasn't such overproduced garbage. 2 stars for trying, but better luck capturing "Infest" next time.

Papa Roach still killing it!

Saw them live 4 times and they are amazing. This album doesn't disappoint. Truly an awesome band that cares about their fans

This album is a weird attempt at returning to the raw vulnerability of Infest mixed with some polishing to try to get radio play. It almost feels forced to me. The lyrics aren't as deep as they could've been. I'll listen to it but it won't be my favorite. Maybe next time.

In the song periscope, she has an amazing voice and I'm glad you guys saw that and chose her to sing in the song periscope.

Papa Roach has brought back some of their old sound and mixed it with some new. There are some slower songs and some songs that are made for head banging. I'll be stuck on this one for a while! Favorite Tracks so Far: Break the Fall, Traumatic, None of the Above, Help, Crooked Teeth

P Roach shows what they are in this album, all sides of them. I want stuff with more an edge but P Roach ain't a one sided band. They got a lot of emotions in there game and they show it here. Solid album no selling out here

These guys ARE NOT SELL-OUTS *cough cough linkin park cough*! 20 years in the game and they are still going hard. Listen to My Medicine, Traumatic, and Crooked Teeth... they will blow your brains away. Listening to this album is like trying to jump from one car to another at 120mph. 10/10 would reccomend must buy.

I know that originally PR was a Rock/Rap group, but I've liked everything they've done since Infest. In fact, I hated infest. F.E.A.R. was fantastic so I don't know what they thought they were doing here. If you're gonna go back to your original sound, at least have the coutousy to throw some newer styled stuff in for people like me who think rock should not have rap vocals. So far, "Crooked Teeth", "Periscope" and "Help" are the only singles I can tolorate. "Crooked Teeth" is probably as rappy as I let my rock get, so it's unfortunate to see "American Dreams" and "Born For Greatness" be so blatanly rap-like. I'm sorry, PR, but I like my rock sound to be just rock and roll. No rap involved.

A subtle, but noteworthy song.

I have been a long time PR fan and this album literally the best thing I have heard in my life. I had high expectations because PR are pros at making good songs but this is by far the best 10/10 and God approves of this score too. My 5 favorite songs in no particular order are 1. Break The Fall 2. My Medication 3. American Dreams 4. Help 5. None Of The Above

I haven't come across a Papa Roach album that I didn't like, and this is no exception. It's very dynamic, and I absolutely love it. Almost 20 years later and never once disappointed.

Sounds exactly like their same bland, radio-rock, emo / nu metal garbage. Fans of the band will like it, but the rest of us will hate it, just like we hated their old songs. And the cover art is just unnecessary. Sheesh, where has all the good music gone.

I always found Papa Roach to be overly generic and uninteresting. They've caught my interest with their early stuff and a few songs from F.E.A.R, but I wasn't expecting much from this album after hearing the radio-friendly "Help". After reluctantly giving this album a chance I said to myself, "who knew Papa Roach had it in them?" Top to bottom this album is amazing! Every song sounds unique and I love it!

Incredible album start to finish! Jacoby is at his best and has brought the rapping back! This is their most unique sounding album and their best! Leaving it on repeat!

Wow - every now and then one of those albums comes along where every song hits. This is one of those albums. No songs sounds alike - everything is unique, everythings sounds so fresh. Great job on this one. I love it.

I guess I didn't realize how much time has passed. Back in the 2000's I'd listen to bands like Linkin Park, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Korn, POD, etc. mind you I was in middle school going into high school when the nu metal thing was at its peak. Fast forward to 2017 and the 28 year old me is just not digging this "old school" sound. Personally this reminds me a lot of Limp Bizkit (a band I can't stand now). Papa Roach's more recent albums have been typical emo/heartstring high school music so when I heard they were going back to the sound that made them famous I wanted to have a listen. I guess I've just out grown that nu metal thing. My musical tastes vary from hard rock to country to heavy metal (death, thrash, power, etc) and I just am not digging this sound. Is it bad? I don't think so, they've pretty much mastered the nu metal genre and combined it with typical high school angst, think Limp Bizkit meets Nickelback? Idk... but if you enjoy this cool. I just couldn't get into it. I still have more respect for Papa Roach over Linkin Park though, those losers are the definition of sell outs. How are they even a band anymore? The guitarist and drummer, hell even the bassist must be bored out of their minds.

This Hits Hard And Strikes Deep. It's Freaking Amazing?

I have been a huge fan of Papa Roach since their first album dropped. So many great rock bands soften up or try and over-evolve their sound (ahem... Linkin Park is a great recent example of trying to appeal to the bubble gum pop genre... which I cannot stand). While Papa Roach has evolved their music, they have not abandoned their style and raw energy that so many of us appreciate. This is straight up a stellar album from beginning to end and it might be my favorite aside from infected. Well done PR... Keep Rock'n it!!!!
