I don't usually buy full albums of any artist and I don't normally listen to electronic/dance music, but ODESZA just creates so well.

OMG. ODESZA HAD ME SHOOK AFTER THAT INTRO. Five stars for the intro alone. The album is... ethereal. It's extremely beautiful and a nice getaway from what's being played on the radio.

When good people make good music you can't help but listen. Most sophisticated album of theirs yet. The instrumental tracks are my faves!

I love a lot of older stuff from ODESZA, and I'm not trying to be one of "those people", but coming into this album I was definitely expecting a lot more drops. I was pumped when I heard Late Night and Line of Sight but ultimately only a couple really caught that same feel for me as In Return or My Friends Never Die. That being said, it takes away nothing from this album. It's a great album, cinematic sounding with a lot of chill and good vibes. Just not for me

Not to be dramatic but I'm only nine minutes into this and already experiencing the tingly euphoria that only accompanies genuine epiphany. I just discovered music for the first time, again. I recommend getting comfy, putting on some halfway decent headphones, and letting yourself melt into to these wholly gorgeous layers of musings on melody. It incites bliss. I am not even exaggerating when I tell you that THE INTRO just saved my soul for god, like the bishop did for Jean Valjean, and like Jean Valjean did for the songfully consumptive Fantine, and like a soothing metaphor will do for your central nervous system the first time you see Les Miserables in the theatre. THAT good.

You never know how you feel when you are going to experience a new release - I really enjoyed everything about this record. From the beginning setting the tone for the sound that you will fall in love with, until the last song. Really enjoyed a moment apart, across the room, and divide - loved the rest of the tracks too. Must have classic!

I love this album! My first listen through had me feeling iffy about the album, but once I went through the songs again, it sounded so much better and is on par with In Return and Summers End. This album blends parts of both of the past two albums and adds newer aspects to Odesza's sound. They are growing and changing, but still incorporate their sound and I love this album for that. This is an experience and will lift your spirits/calm your soul.

Been a fan for over 2 years now and I have to say y'all have a style of music like no other. Y'all really do set the bar up high for music and Artists! I had really high expectations for this album. Also I am highly aware both of you pour your heart out to the music y'all make, and I appreciate that!! But I think there could be some heavier sounds like "make me feel better"! (Also y'all need to officially drop it). I just want to be honest. Don't get me wrong 'A moment apart' is really awesome! I have the album on repeat and will for the rest of the year. But I feel like y'all so great that people won't tell you there real thoughts and kiss up! Like they would say "IT'S PERFECTION" stuff like that. Anyway I love you guys, keep up the good work and I hope y'all have a blast on your tour! And whoever y'all can, come back to Houston. I'm glad I saw Odesza for my first music festival :-)

There are very artists where I have liked every song in an album to actualy buy the whole album. Every song in a moment apart is absolutely amazing! Wow Odesza! This is a masterpiece album.

Odesza, you guys are great I love the music you've made! Up to this point I loved every song I've heard. I could listen to any of your albums all the way through and love every second! A Moment Apart sadly is a bit of a different story. The album still has greatness in it but also songs like "Falls" that scream skip me. In my first listen tracks 1-6 gave me chills especially the "Intro" leading to "A Moment Apart" and then again at "Line of Sight" all of which I absolutely loved. Then the seemingly desperate attempt to be played on the radio part of the album. Songs like "Across the Room," "Everything at Your Feet," "Just a Memory," "Divide," and "Falls" are the ones that push me off of loving this album. Of course this is all my opinion. Odesza please please please back off of the pop radio type sound and put your sound first over the vocals.

I only discovered ODESZA recently but I have utterly fallen in love with their music. It's a transformative journey through sounds and samples and rhthms with the underlying connective tissue of both joy and melancholy. I've been anticipating the full release of A Moment Apart for months. And listening to it now it was well worth the wait. The opening moments alone are enough to give your goosebumps goosebumps. It seems we are living in such dark times now. The opening track "A Moment Apart" provides solace in uncertainty. There is something bigger and better out there waiting for us. And we can find it if we know where to look.

Ive been listening to ODESZA for a while now. A Moment Apart keeps true to their style from previous albums, but also feels new. Im honestly in love. Absolutuley cannot wait to see you guys in concert come december. Straight killin it.

Have been a fan for several years and their previous work has carried me through hard times but it feels like something is missing with this recent release. Meridian is the only song that really speaks to me this time round.

This album is a complete work of art. They have gone into every song and carefully crafted it to fit every mood. Songs such as 'A Moment Apart,' electrify every nerve ending in your body. The song sets you in a state of trance where you feel that everything in your life is where it should be, in a state where everything is balanced and okay. I absolutely love this album and can't wait to see them perform every hit that this album will produce.
