TheJammyToe - Smooth TransitionIt's so easy to love this album! Bands have to constantly reinvent themselves to keep fans interested, and FTP has done this so well with this album. The transition between upbeat to relaxing in many songs gives this album a lot of variety while still keeping their alternative, yet different style. This album has reminded me why they are my favorite band. Can't wait to see you guys at the Hard Rock in Orlando!
Yaya1234whyisthistaken - best album 2017so groovy.. can't expect them to stay the same forever. they changed - in the best way possible
Vasilisaa - I enjoyed it.The style is nice the songs are well executed and all varied. It's not as good as their first album but I wouldn't hold and album to that standard.
CLIFFTHEFANTASTIC - 🔥🔥🔥I've been waiting a while for a new album. I'm glad Foster the People delivered.
Noe Rios - Loved every bit of itLoved this entire album.
I loved how they went back to there roots and made a really nice album.
My favorite song has to be Loyal Like Sid and Nancy because it wasn't afraid to get political
Ethan_mane - AmazingI'm very impressed!
Buford T. Justice - FTP rulesCreative genius.
Fk9fk9 - SHCAmazing work, still a great band!
Ava Grieco - Never DissapointedThis is my absolute favorite band of all time. Amazing talent.
Bleepy1244 - SO PUMPEDMy all time favorite band!!! I saw them play for their Sacred Hearts tour and was lucky enough to hear some songs that haven't been released yet!!!! CANNOT WAIT FOR THE REST OF THE ALBUM TO BE RELEASED!!!
Haley 😋😝 - i'm shakenweave = snatched
grades = higher
skin = cleared
Stevennno - Incredible album!Love the album. I've listened to all the songs on repeat by now. I love how they have evolved their sound but still have flashes of material from the previous two albums. An incredible band and my favorite all time! Foster the People is an incredibly unique group. Well done!
Velvetmac - LegendsLove them!! Love this album!!! See them live!! Support them!!
Lavinhoah - Great album all aroundThis is a very diverse album, with some songs like SHC reminding me of supermodel, lotus eater reminding me of some 80s rock band, and sit next to me sounding like the next top 40 hit. This truly is a good album with a lot of unique sound. I don't even know how to describe III, only that I love it so much. Great album, great band, can't wait to see where they go from here
DeborahM16 - LOVELove you guys. Love the album. See you tonight in Columbus.
Chrsty4 - OMG!Listen to #10, yall! Can't wait to down load their new album!
theklugs - Reinvented sound with the same old charmThis album more than lives up to their first two albums. It has a great, eclectic feel to it while keeping a sense of cohesiveness with its tracks. 110% worth a listen. Keep up the good work FTP 👌🏼
Cheesehead4312 - Amazing AlbumIt's definitely different then Torches and Supermodel but it's still great. I play this album on shuffle everyday and I love all the songs! Way to go FtP!
A former hardcore fan - Their Best Yet!If I could give this album a 4.5, I would. However, I settle for a solid 4 rather than 5.
This is my favorite album out of the three FTP albums. It has the creativity of their first release, Torches, and is everything that Supermodel was supposed to be. Supermodel had some great tracks (coming of age, best friend, psuedologica fantastica), but just failed on providing a strong delivery. With Sacred Hearts Club, FTP has created a consistent, cohesive, and experimental album.
Congrats!
Personal favorite tracks for me:
Pay the Man, Sit Next to Me, Loyal like Sid and Nancy, I Love My Friends, Static Space Lover.
modernlondon - love it!!!!One of my favorite albums of the year!!!!
Me12348292 - Love itAnother gr8 album
Captain Can o'Corn - Relaxing, Unapologetic and Sweet IndietronicaFTP's first album was electronic, their second album was rock, now this album is a combination of the two. If you get those college stations that play new indietronica all day you'll know what kind of music Sacred Hearts Club is. Just hearing the final track that sounded like a lost tape from Tame Impala's Currents Album "III" was worth the wait, best song on the album. Mark Foster does an amazing job drawing from different inspirations from Beach Boys to Tame Impala to create something that can turn head. The worst thing I can say about this album is apart from "SHC" many of the rock style tracks were underwhelming and didn't leave an impression on me as much as "sit next to me" or "sid and nancy" did. I can guarantee the electronic songs on this album leave an impression on you and have top quality presentation. Foster The People has always been a band that make songs that leave an impression on me and stick with me as I grow up. Although "III" left an impression on me the rest of the album isn't exactly as rememberable or cutting deep as "Coming of Age" or "Fire Escape" Sacred Hearts Club overall leaves an impression on me and inspires me as much as their other albums. FTP always got me through tough times growing up and this new album makes me feel like I'm hearing them for the first time again. I hope they keep experimenting and keep surprising me in the future.
Deptkek - Just wowFoster the People has done it again. I can't compare them to anyone I have ever heard before. Their music is just out of this world and they pour their lives into each song they make. You guys have surprised me in each song you guys make. Best album of 2017. Congratulations on the release I'll be picking up the vinyl!
Rangers72618 - GreatBest work yet
theperformersplace - So goodAfter digesting this album for a few days I can say that this is one of my favorite albums of all time. They explore multiple genres and give the album an atmosphere that is happy and very enjoyable. I can see myself listening to this album till I die. They make their songs sound so vintage and old school yet still so fresh and new and exciting. If you are debating whether or not to buy this album, DO IT! While there is a song that it not as great as the others (looking at you, Loyal Like Sid and Nancy) I think this album is a beautiful successor to Supermodel. 9.5/10
Jesse'DawGG - Foster the People All the Way!!❤️❤️I love all your guys music Foster the People :")))) you guys always do a good job and always will ^0^ wow it's been 3 albums now so far and I loved the last two and I know this one is going to be just as good 😊👌🏼👍🏼💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ man you guys deserve much rewards already ^-^ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Susu👽 - Best albumHonestly love them so much 😭💜
// Carson // - Favorite band always👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 not a song I dislike so far
Tatremy - One of the best records of the yearSupermodel used to be one of my favorite records of all time, but as I gave it repeated listens, it grew away from me. This new album, even if it wont be able to replace supermodel's spot, is a return to form. Anyone that thinks they are "selling out" and "pandering to wider audiences" simply dont have the open minded musical taste to appreciate all genres, including dance and hip hop.
reliablesource0 - Incredible SoundWhat a diverse album. Foster the People does it again!
kraigles - best yetI absolutely love this album. The 60's inspired songs seem out of place with the rest of the album, but, as a whole love it. Especially sid and nancy and harden the paint. The more electronic fueled songs are really done well. It really updates their sound to what is happening in music today.
crustymermaid - another phenomenal albumlike many long-time foster the people fans, i was a bit apprehensive about their new lovechild. i wasn't a big fan of the first three singles they released because of how different and poppy they sounded. however, just like with their sophomore album, "supermodel," they completely blew me away. foster the people continues to constantly and eagerly put out new, fresh takes, not aligning themselves with any particular genre. straggling the line between alternative and pop, you hear a little bit of everything in each song.
while i am still not a big fan of "pay the man" or "do it for the money," the rest of the album more than makes up for it. "sit next to me," "lotus eater," and "static space lover" are my current favorites, but that list changes every hour. it is difficult to put to words how much this album and their music means to me in words, but i am so beyond impressed and happy for them and i hope they continue to make music for many years to come 💗 highly, HIGHLY recommend for new and old fans alike.
919183847829292 - They've done it agaainI gotta say, I wasn't sure how I felt about the new 'pop' feel, but I enjoy it just as much as the other album, even if it is different. SHC especially is an amazing song. It is one of my fav. songs ever now. Mark & the band are amazing. Keep up the good work guys.
MurskiMan - A splendid new album!Same ol' FtP vibes with bangin' bass lines slapped on top! Can't go wrong with that!
kylerez - Full of FunI've listened to every song already and let me tell you, they're so enjoyable. Foster The People have made another transition with this incredible album. They have aspects from both previous records, however, Sacred Hearts Club is filled with hints of the late 1960s. Some songs are guitar heavy while others are filled with bubblegum pop. There is so much diversity in every song and the album is very moving from all of the touching lyrics. Sacred Hearts Club is nothing like Torches or Supermodel. It's a fun, creative album that'll have you dancing in your seat.
Favorites: Pay the Man, Doing it for the Money, Sit Next to Me, Lotus Eater, Harden the Paint.
Jardielxxx - Great album!!I love it!!
Fifithepugggggx - AMAZING ALBUM!!💗💗Honestly this album is gold!!❤️Foster the people never disappoints !!❤️❤️❤️ I love every song from this album! Especially Sit Next To Me 💗💗
jasonchil - In loveFoster the People has grown with their fans and carved a unique notch to which they have been able to single handedly fill. Sacred Hearts Club feels like a mix of Torches and Supermodel with a psychedelic 60's vibe, mixed with hip-hop, punk, rock, rnb and soul. This album is a journey and a soundtrack to modern life. Lyricist Mark Foster is at his best, critiquing society and pushing for a better, more peaceful, and more LOVING world.
We love you guys back.
DaniM1999 - The LYRICS!!!Even before knowing the lyrics, this is just the kind of music people need to hear during this particular time. It's fun, and has very unique beats that allow you to forget your troubles.
FTP never fails to amaze me.
The Law Gurl - 🔥🔥🔥🔥THIS ALBUM IS GREAT!!!! WORTH IT!!!
Devon8or - AwesomeMark Foster is an amazing musician, and it shows in this album. The guy isn't afraid to try new things, and the group managed to put out a stellar album with a new sound, without selling out.
Mr.mime123 - LittyI usually don't listen to ftp but this ablum is great
Trevora13 - Listening through the full albumI had my doubts, but after listening to the full album, it's really good. Doing it for the Money and Loyal Like Sid and Nancy are the worst songs on the album so don't worry.
Greystorm1619 - DIFFERENT YET AMAZINGEven though the sound is a bit different, I love it. I find myself getting caught up in a beat and melody that I usually wouldn't like, but that's Foster the People for you. They're always unique and bringing new styles to the table, but they still manage to make those those catchy and boppin songs that just make me want to dance and shout the lyrics at the top of my lungs. It isn't their other albums, and it shouldn't be, as it shows Foster the People's growth as a band, but they are still doing amazing work. Thank you to my favorite band for a beautiful album, much of which I can't put into words, but I tried to get a little across. This is my emoji summary: 👏🏾🙌🏾❤️😆😭
Animebunny - I love the new musicThis is definitely different from their previous albums and it's still great. I've been so excited for today when it came out and it was worth the wait.
HaleighDaw - IM IN LOVEAHHHHG
pizza girl 1738 - dissappointedthis album was too experimental for my liking :/
Jasòn - Best album yet!Just please buy this now, I promise you will not regret it. They pull off a new sound while still being Foster the People. This will be on repeat for a while.
Eliza |-/ - Sacred Hearts Club!!! ♥️Oh my goodness!!! I love this album!! I've been a huge Foster the People fan since Torches and I have been so excited for this album to be released!! Foster the People is incredibly talented! My favorites are Sit Next To Me and Harden the Paint!!
Notlj - In love ❤️All the songs in the album are amazing. It's hard to find an album where I enjoy all the songs but Foster the People are different! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
