Why so many features? What happened to just N.E.R.D being N.E.R.D? Best songs are the ones with no features.

I couldn't wait to purchase this album as soon as it released. NERD has been a major staple in the industry for a long time and although the front man, Pharrell, has had a successful career and even dropped solo joints of his own, he can't deny his roots and the fantastic group when together can produce amazing music! Don't delay if you're a true NERD fan, you'll love this one and be glad it's in your library.

N.E.R.D has reinvented themselves yet again! For all of these raters (closet haters)/reviewers that want the previous catalogue sound/direction, do like Jay-Z said and buy the old albums. It’s called progression. If your musical taste or palette remains the same how can you grow? This album speaks on the unfortunate things that go on (out of the spotlight, on your tv screens and probably in your presence)in our society daily. Most would like to escape reality, but if it took for N.E.R.D to speak about things to Wake People Up (on their return album) then so be it. More ESP is needed along with Lightning Fire Magic Prayer and Secret Life of Tigers. 🖖🏾🤘🏾🙏🏾☝🏾

Wow, where to begin. Where has music gone these days? If you're looking for extremely cliché beats and 0 lycial content, look no further. What a great way to end 2017! Coming from a musical genuis such as Pharrell, I would expect way more. This album is a hard pass for anyone who actually 'enjoys' music.

I was excited about this album because of the features, but those guest artists ended up being the only good parts of the album. The rest is repetative, simple, boring, and kind of annoying. not impressed.

I honestly did not know what NERD was before I listened to it..and I think it's absolutely amazing. I feel my words will diminish how good this album actually is. But I will say- it's original, it's not trying to sound like other stuff goin around, and it's a musically genius masterpiece.

Only true N.E.R.D. fans that started with their 2002 album will appreciate this album. It is excellent. Great album to kick back and let the world go by. Lyrics are strong with a lot of great influences from some of the greats - Talking Heads, Devo, etc. Buy the album and put in the time.

It’s not a box to be put in. That’s what the whole idea is behind this music. It’s a step forward, leaving the past and especially the present behind. Evolution of it all into this and beyond! Good stuff!!

Pre-ordered this album (god knows why) . Don’t know where you guys thought you were going with this but it did not stick. What are we ? Mid two thousands black eyed peas now ? . There are two songs worth while on this album and that’s being nice . Let me rephrase that , there are two songs on this album that aren’t complete garbage and that makes them “good”. I figured it was an acquired taste but after four or five passes I just progressively get more and more bummed that I purchased this . The album drones on and tries really hard to make political statement after obscure (conspiracy brother) statement over (poorly) looped drum sequences mixed with a hint of flat out annoying hooks . Maybe we got caught up trying to put out an album and say what we wanted but forgot to put out actual music ? I don’t know . Whatever you wanted from this , take it back .
