I had to privilege of seeing her perform at the Ryman when she opened for Luke Combs. I had never even heard of McBryde but ever since then I have listened to her music every single day. I'm proud to say that I was a manager at one of the bars that Ashley performed at. I didn't know what to expect since we had bands in every night of the week. I can tell you that not only does she have one of the best voices in county, but also is a superb songwriter. Some songs make you want to drink an ocean of whiskey with a "Holler 'n a Swaller" and others make you want to cry into it. I wish her all the best. These are truely songs that make you understand why people love Country music because this girl has got some stories to tell.

She has an old school vibe to her and a unique sound. All these other artist make pop country, she is putting Country back in Country! She is AWESOME!

I pre-ordered the album and though all the songs available early we’re going to be the singles because they were all THAT good - Check out Radioland, Girl Going Nowhere, Tired of Being Happy. Then the entire album is released and every song is single-worthy - Andy, El Dorado. “Making the best of a bad day kinda night”. This whole album is clever and catchy!!

Her lyrics and voice is amazing! You can feel the emotions in her voice, has a bit of old sould to her as well. I can't believe she's been around for 12 years!! I pre ordered Girl Going Nowhere and every song released is great! That never happens.

When I first heard her, off of a bad YouTube camera video, it came through so clearly, she could sang, she could play, she could write some amazing lyrics and she was born with it! IMHO I think she’s a star. The real kind. One that sings something in a way that relates and yet no one thought of putting it out there in that way. It’s a God given gift. And I plan on supporting another great female musician. God Bless Miss Ashley.
