At first I was skeptical about snoop having a gospel album but the album is AWESOME! I love it and the songs have a great message/meaning. Who cares that he’s a rapper but this album is great and belongs in the gospel category. Way to go Snoop!

Snoop Dog is a hypocrite. He cannot claim to do something like this for the Lord with all the gross ungodliness throughout his other albums. Has he genuinely repented of his sins and trusted in Christ?

It is interesting that many will call themselves Christians but will speak with venom dropping from their lips. After reading so many negative reviews primarily about the artist and his decision to make a gospel album it is clear that being in this day is age is no different then what are Christ and Lord Savior went through with the leaders of his time as he had meals with sinners healed on the wrong day (for them) allowed a tax collector to be part of his disciples; So now that an artist of Snoop Dogg‘s caliber has decided to just give praise, that he is cognitive enough to understand that even though he’s not perfect a.k.a. none of us are, that he still wanted to give thanks. Let’s try to remember that with his platform he has addressed many issues, and he has not once said he is perfect therefore he is going to do perfect things; let’s enjoy the music for what it is and let’s keep him in prayer that he continues to be a blessing to others in what ever arena he chooses to address next.

People can criticize Snoop for whatever they think they know about him, but this is a great record and is full of talented gospel artists and is quite impressive. Love to see more like this from him.

If you become famous, gain a platform, and then use that platform to deliver Christian/gospel singers into the lives of people that may otherwise never take time to listen, should I consider you unfit for this album? Regardless of his past, look at the crowd he runs with today, and the kids he help. Snoop seems like someone who has learned from the wrongs of his past, and now he’s doing everything he can make a brighter future for himself and others.

I am too surprised at snoop having a gospel album, but who are we to say how God can move ones heart. If it were not for his forgiveness where would we be. I am happy that Snoop has found his way home and pray for his continued journey. Signed we all are sinners.

I’m not a fan of Snoop Dogg. This album is a step to something tho. And people just criticize and criticize. What ever happened to, “Thou shall not judge?” Everyone here is being judgmental here just because what a worldly singer is trying to make a gospel album? Give Snoop a break. It actually looks like he’s trying.

Snoop only raps in like for songs. This is mainly a gospel album with songs by other artists. Listen to it on YouTube and only get the songs you want. Don’t wast your money on some of it. I was really hoping he would rap over some tight beats for majority of the album; something similar to lecrae but with snoop style, but nah. He just, just disappointed me.

"You who have not sinned, cast the first stone." Everyone left starting with the old. And then Jesus turned to her and asked her "where are your accusers? Go and sin no more." This was to a prostitute Jesus said this to. If Jesus can redeem and forgive a prostitute, maybe He can forgive and redeem other sinners too.

I thank god he did these song for some people’s who want to know god in their own way.
