I thought it was alright but I just wasn’t as impressed as I thought I was going to be. The hype didn’t live up to actual music. Honestly it just sounds like all the other Yachty that has been released with new features and slightly different beats. Still talking about the same stuff. It’s just same old Yachty to me.

Another case of the guest rappers outshining the main artist. And he is one of the most one dimensional rappers in the game . Well at least it’s better than that last album “Teenage Emotions”. That was hot trash.

I admit that this squeal to the mixtape 'Lil Boat' is better than the debut album, but it still suffers from what made 'Teenage Emotions' an awful record. Yachty still tries to be cool and less of what people say he is (A positive & happy kind of rapper). I also admit I like the style change, I like the production, but Yachty doesn't really do much to make any song on this album stand out or beg for a second listen. 'Lil Boat 2' is a one time listen, better than the first record... but not the first 'Lil Boat'. Only a baby step in the right direction.
