Simply put, Playboi Carti smashed this album. Months after the initial release the album is still relevant and talked about for its incomprehensible lyrics but ear-catching rhythm, with the help of visionary beats from Pierre Bourne who is beginning to become one of the greatest producers trap has seen. For those who say Die Lit is trash for its lyrics, they simply don’t get the point. The minimalistic use of lyrics is what makes this album great. The vocals are a part of the beat and aren’t simply slapped on top, they mingle with each other to create this rhythm I previously mentioned. One of a kind album, my favourite right now and possible of all time.
