Trench is a perfect journey. A narrative weaves it's way throughout the album with underlying, deeper meaning to each song. There are tunes that make you dance, and songs that make you cry. There's fast rap with exciting beats, catchy basslines and choruses, delicate melodies with chord progressions that take your breath away. Twenty one pilots is my absolute favorite band ever! Trench has some incredible songs. (“Jumpsuit”)opens with some incredible guitar and bass action and the ending has one of the best Tyler Joseph screams ever! Then (“Levitate”)shows how twenty one pilots truly does things by showing off Tylers’s amazing rap skills and how his words really flow. (“Chlorine”)was a real shock because I didn’t think that they could make a song so good! Same with (“My Blood”). Some songs should really have been singles on this album such as (“The Hype”) and (“Morph”) because I think they have some great radio potential. Overall this album has a really good beat and setup of songs! Keep up the great work you guys, I’m a clique member for life! I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with next 😁❤️|-/

This is my favourite album right now and in my opinion, better than the rest of your albums. It’s got fire songs but slower ones too. Even vocally and lyrically it’s the best. I LIVE FOR THE STORYLINE

I don’t usually write reviews on things but this album is definitely worthy of one. All of the songs are beyond amazing and it was totally worth the wait of the hiatus. You can really tell that Tyler and Josh put a lot of effort into this album, and I definitely recommend this album to everyone, especially anyone who hasn’t listened to any Twenty One Pilots songs in their life! ||-//

I became a fan during the hiatus and this is the first album I’ve been around to see its release, so I had high expectations. This album exceeded my expectations. Every song was well produced and the lyrics were amazing and the vocals had awesome effects. Personally, my favorite songs are neon gravestones, chlorine, morph, legend, and pet cheetah. The entire album was awesome but these are my most played so far.

this album is trash

this album is absolute ART. from jumpsuit to leave the city, all of the songs talk about important subjects, as well as people tyler is close to, which makes you feel closer to the band as well. the bass and drums in this album are absolutely insane like in “my blood” and “jumpsuit”, and the rap verses of “nico and the niners” and “pet cheetah” are so awesome. i waited over 2 years for this album, and the boys did not disappoint. the storyline of trench is so interesting and i love it so much. “neon gravestones” talks about the importance of suicide awareness but not the glorification of suicide, “legend” is about tyler’s grandfather and smithereens is about jenna and it’s so cute! literally all of these songs are absolute fire and i can’t wait for the bandito tour.

The boys did it again with a LEGENDary fifth album. When I first heard it all I started LEVITATE with excitement and was definitely worth THE HYPE. My PET CHEETAH Claude, loved the album so much he wore his JUMPSUIT for the rest of the day. After this he MORPHed into a puddle of MY BLOOD, which still confuses me on why he did it. I’ve been listening to twenty one pilots for around 4 years now, over that period I have been so in love with their music and how they’ve grown as an artist, both musically and at live shows too. Over the past 4 years I’ve been lucky enough to be able to see them 11 times across Australia and New Zealand. This December I’m doing the entire Australian and New Zealand tour (again) and I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am. It’s early days but I already know Trench is without a doubt my favourite twenty one pilots album and I cannot wait to see these songs live. Thank you.
