Jeez these guys were so phenomenal. It’s great hearing these new mixes, but also bittersweet. It just accentuates the sad state music has devolved to. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ll never again in my lifetime experience the wonderful music of my youth....Take Care All....

Already own the album, bootlegs, Anthology versions, etc., but looking forward to the remastered mono mixes and extra material included with this package. Giles Martin has done a fantastic job with previous Beatles projects, and no reason to believe this will be any different. Christmas comes early once again!!

Ok, admitted Beatle Freak all my life. I have collected everything (records only, not Beatle wigs etc.) and laugh at others who claim to be their biggest fans. So after 35 years when boots got started I have been listening to all these songs and demos in every form poss. so I knew I was going to buy this deluxe set for my collect and the 3 cd's and the records to satifisy my OCD with the beatles. When I heard George's Esher Demo for WMGGW's I was blown away. Serioulsy waiting for Sour Milk Sea now in the same sound quality and not the bootleg mess thats out there. John seems to have given his really last strong effort here before being consumed with his bag movement with Yoko and his songs are outstanding. George's Long, Long, Long is a sorely overlooked beautiful song. If your new, or not the demo's in this sound quality is worth the price of admission if you are a beatle's fan. I will say I think 70.00 is " It's all too much" just for the download.

The White Album was conceived as a two disk set to bring the Beatles initial recording contract to and end. The deal they had inked with EMI in 1962 was terribly one sided and this final submission under those draconian terms was to free the band to dictate the terms of the new deal. I agree with another reviewer that a dynamite single album would have been preferable.

Anything Beatles is amazing! Itunes you don't get it. Calling Piggies silly shows your silliness and misunderstanding of the whole culture of The Beatles and Rock & Rolls impact on the world at that time. Of course mastered for itunes mutes out the best part of most songs too. Peace

I'll go ahead and point out that I doubt I will want a 6 CD set of the Get Back/Let It Be Sessions. Let It Be (Naked) probably was enough. Abbey Road was perfect the first time, so a dive into those vaults are probably not nearly as interesting as Sgt. Pepper and The White Album (White Album DEFINITELY deserves this treatment). However, one last project request if Apple Corps thinks it's worth it--- combine a remaster, studio session and maybe a live collection (Budokan, etc.) set of Rubber Soul/Revolver, combined together in one deluxe set. Those are the most historically/critically important recordings the Beatles released, so a listen to the makings of those songs would be a must have. For the rest of the catalog, I think the mono recordings of thier earlier records are fine. No need to drag the archives and remaster those. From a Beatles listener for 31 years.
