Only song worth my ears.

It doesnt flow as well as prevous albums but there is something for all the weezy fans here. Classic stuff, experiemental stuff, autotuned bangers, remixed/resampled classis. There are songs for every era of Lil wayne here all on one album and that it is very cool to have that. Lil wayne's versitility and adaptivness is here in its finest. It hasnt been an easy road getting this album to the fans but I am glad it finally made it.

Lil Wayne is one of the most talented lyricists out there, in my opinion. He’s creative and different. But, his label struggles to put a complete album together. If he did an album with Dr. Dre, it would be amazing. This one has a few really good ones, including Mona Lisa with K Lamar. I also really like dedicate and Open safe. My only issue is it doesn’t flow together all the way. It’s got some auto tune singing tracks mixed in. That should be like B sides or all together at the end. But, that might just be me preferring album experiences like Doggystyle, all eyez on me, life after death, slim shady lp, etc.

i had mixed feelings about this one. at first, i was only here to buy the “Don’t cry” song with x when it came out but i thought to just buy the album but i looked up the songs and i only like don't cry so i would not waste ur money but if u like songs that only talk about drugs and money and women go for it but otherwise buy don't cry if u need a song to get you in your feelings give it a shot especially if you wanna support x

Lil Wayne has completed his off the camera story in this installment of The Carter series The Carter 5 is everything & more than what fans expected in my opinion I think fans expected over the top collaborations like you hear from most albums & mixtapes streaming currently & that isn’t the case this is Wayne’s world music heads! a more mature Lil Wayne at that Family Friends past lovers new lovers & new hobbies like skateboarding & Weezy Wednesdays on YouTube & the uproar challenge trending on Social Media are what fans have been waiting on for years a more out-going in the public eye weezy along with the mixtapes he’s drop over his career & The Dedication 6 his most recent 2017-2018 mixtape this is hard work at its best He should have been featured on rolling-stone magazine in September-October but whatever The Carter 5 has something for everybody! This album is a life-time-achievement-award speech over 23 tracks who knows maybe their will be a carter 6 in the nearby future G.O.A.T

I’m A big Lil Wayne fan. But this is the worse Lil Wayne album in his collection. Seems like he was trying something different. Lyrics & skills still there but different. The problem was the terrible Production . Bad beats. Mostly low tempo beats. The songs are not catchy . Doesn't have that “I wanna listen again & again” feel.

Regardless, this album, he’s still my favorite artist of all time musically....but the funny thing about it I love it. I just feel like he could of said more on the track named DEDICATE

The tracks on here are pretty deep. You really need to listen to them to understand the deeper narrative. He’s a great lyricist.

Tha carter v Is definitely worth the wait. It is very different from lil Wayne’s previous albums; a lot more emotional. You can tell he put his heart into it on songs like “can’t be broken” and “famous”, which even features his daughter. My personal favorite is “Mona Lisa”, which features Kendrick Lamar. The album also features Nicki Minaj, snoop dogg, Travis Scott, and more. A few of the songs weren’t very good or just plain weird, like I did not like “let it fly” or “dark side of the moon”. Otherwise,I would have probably given this 5 stars. Although there were several bangers on here that were fire 🔥 it just didn’t live up to tha carter IV. In my opinion, I would definitely recommend this album to anyone and everyone who listens to hip hop. A must have for any lil Wayne fan.

Instead of hearing a truly gifted artist & lyricist take u on a personal journey and giving u a first hand look at his life through his music, in his own words. This album’s not for those who like violence, drama and stirring up beef!! Wayne made a master piece, for the intellectual grown folks, the true fans of his artistry. Wayne wrote this album knowing that this world don’t need any more drama, beef or violence played out through music. If u really understood? Then u are either a true fan or u are an artist and you listened to the lyrics and heard his message. This album was for his mother and it is one of his Master pieces Congratulations Wayne!!!
