As someone who cut his teeth on Mowtown and the 60’s, this is a significant musician/songwriter reminiscent of Gaye or Redding. Truly an artist and a treasure.

Paak’s Oxnard is a masterpiece. Great beats, production, singing, bars, features, etc. All in all a great project—standouts are definitely Tints and Trippy (with Kendrick and Cole, respectively). Push and Q-Tip also kill it; Dre and Snoop are phenomenal as always.

I haven't heard the full album, but this guy apparently reps the Lemonwood/Channel Islands/Hueneme scene. A bit different from the old school, south side Colonia - El Rio rappers (Mr. Happs, etc). He got some high profile names featured in a lot of his tracks so we'll see how this plays out.

Great album first musician in a while to have live instruments included and perform it without the song played in the background, overall amazing album . Ps i live in Oxnard so im glad to see someone from my home make a big impact. My brother sold rang him up at target today 😂

It took me several listens to realize that this is one of my favorite albums of the year! His flow and his inflection is amazing on this, his lyrics and cadence as well! Same with the production/mixing, thanks in large part to Dr. Dre. Very consistent all the way through. I highly recommend this album! Amazing work! YES LAWD!!!!

I like Trippy and Tints the most.

My favorite artist by far since his Breezy Lovejoy days! Tints with its almost throwback roller skate jam vibe is an amazing teaser to this album. I’m truly looking forward to it!
