First of all, the lyrics hit hard cause so true. Then Miley’s voice just simply ROCKS. I actually can’t help but think of Dolly while listening, it’s like a modern Dolly song, ha. Very cool.

I haven’t listened to Miley in years, but when this song and its music video played as an add on YouTube, I couldn’t bring my self to press “skip now”. The music video itself is in the crazy wacky Miley style we’ve come to know over the years, but that’s not what we are talking about. This feels like a call back to her earlier stuff, and I really prefer this all most, dare I say, country/soul style of music 100 times better than her pop stuff. If your having doubt, give the song a listen, and I think you’ll be as throughly surprised and delighted as I was.
