- Disappointed.

I love Bethel Music with or without it being the same worship leaders on EVERY CD. Please don't get me wrong, I love listening to Steff or Jeremy a lot. But that's why I purchased their CDs too and have gotten them as gifts for friends. BUT, Dave your comment is completely disappointing. I know you worked on the Tides Album and so you're maybe partial to it but come on man. And given the fact that you're a fan a lot of genres I'm most surprised that you're judging them so harshly. Bethel Music is doing a good thing by giving others a spot on their CD.

- Incredible

So pure and powerful. Original and not regurgitated

- Amazing album

It’s so sad how American Christians are “fans” of certain people and make them “celebrities”. It doesn’t matter if Amanda Cook or Gretzinger, even Jeremy Riddle are not singing in this album, because this thing it’s not about them, it’s about a message from God of Victory. They are really good worship leaders, however I don’t listing Bethel Music because of their leaders, but because of God’s message, majesty and impartation in every single song.

- Can’t wait!

These are going to lead to new encounters with God!!!

- Everything we need in worship today!

This is a phenomenal worship album, the contrast of music styles, depth of lyrics, and artwork all come together to make the best worship record of 2019. So incredible!! A must-have for any modern-worship lover!

- Very powerful prophetic album

The testimonies of how these songs were written make these songs so powerful!!! I raise a hallelujah, Ain’t no grave and the victory is yours are amazing!

- YES

This is a very lifting and victorious album! Singing of the Victory we have in Jesus’ name!!

- Love this

So fresh, always with Jesus as the focus, as it should be, using new voices and flowing from hearts of praise. Well Done

- Awesome!

I just listened to this 2 times over and love every song! Definitely a different sound coming from Bethel but that’s not a bad thing! Catchy song Ain’t No Grave(Johnny Cash anyone?!) is awesome and Cory Asbury’s song is great too!

- Goodness

this album is so powerful!!!!! love it! gods moving in good ways!

- 🔥

🔥🙌🏼

- I wanted to love it....

As a fellow Worship pastor I applaud Bethel for this Album and the lives I believe it will touch through the very personal stories in these songs. Many of their songs and music over the years have really ministered to me and God has used powerfully in a mighty way. And I’m also grateful for their influence on the church as a whole As I’ve noticed many ministries have become more open to the Holy Spirit moving in their worship sets that would otherwise stick to more of a hard line structure in the past. With that said though also coming from the position of someone passionate about worship and songwriting I’m a bit disappointed with the lack of the quality of the writing on this album. The thing is this isn’t just a bethel thing it’s a issue I believe in the music industry in general and especially with worship albums becoming so mainstream. I feel like the pressure to be releasing a new album every year and to constantly be pushing new stuff out has actually hurt the worship scene and songwriting in general. Every new bethel album I feel like there are less and less songs that click or pull me in and I feel like many of the songs start to take more of a generic route because they just had to have a new song for the next album. I know this is not the heart of Bethel to just make money but the pressure to sustain and constantly put something new out I feel has taking what could of been an amazing album to an average album at best. Again I really love you guys and everything you’re doing but please take what is said in this review as constructive criticism. Thanks

- Powerful 👊🏻

I am not a musician whatsoever and I don’t even know the name of certain singers but I can tell you right now there is a powerful anointing in this album. It is songs of praise and worship but at the same time there is warship. Powerful declarations of who Christ is and who we belong to!!! Amazing!

- So real and raw worship. Love it!

Love this!!

- So-so

Other than Raise a Hallelujah and Ain’t No Grave, so many songs just sound...tired. Not sure that’s the right word. Maybe worship music as a genre is going through another plateau - like before United, Bethel and others kind of raised the quality. This isn’t a comment about heart or intention or talent even. I am only commenting on the music and not making me go… Wow these are such great songs and what not. I very much get that an individual song could really speak to somebody’s heart because of where they’re at. That kind of thing always happens and is one of the great things about worship music being put out. Maybe I’m saying more from a creativity, quality standpoint it’s just lacking some depth and musical height.

- Pass it Up

No Amanda Cook? No Steffany? ...Next #thisiswhathappenswhenwefocusouttobusinessandnottheportion

- Sounds amazing, very expectant!!

So far, the 4 songs released sounds amazing! Really looking forward to the rest of the album!❤️

- Unfortunate

No doubt there’s anointing behind these songs. However It’s unfortunate they’ve lost all the creatives that made Bethel such a unique and special thing. Amanda Cook, Steffany Gretzinger, Bobby Strand, and Chris Greely’s presence is definitely missed on this. Curious if this is just a one time project without them or if they have moved on.

- Absolutely Incredible!

I Love these people and everything they do to share the presence of the Father with the world! I am so thankful for an album full of victorious anthems that proclaim the nature of our King!

- YES.YES.YES 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Preordered and so ready to jam to this ENTIRE album!! Love hearing new artists! Love the OG’s of Bethel..but with so much talent you got to spread the love!! Thank you Bethel! God is good!!

- Powerful!

I love this album! An anthem of Praise. Stirs up Passion and Hope!

- Anointed Worship. Tough Mix.

I have been looking forward to this album since I had heard the first whispers about it through the grapevine. Raise a Hallelujah is my anthem, no doubt, and this album as a whole will be on repeat in my home when it comes out in full later this month. I think the only "tough" part about it is the mix. With it being a "live" album, the lyrics don't always come through, and the treble/bass balance seems a bit off. That saidt, so many souls will be blessed by this! All Glory to God!

- What a year ahead of us!!!!

So excited about this year!!! The music coming from heaven through these amazing team is powerful and unique. i cant believe Passion released such a great album, Hillsong UNITED is coming with a ROARING GRACE, And now Bethel family is revealing VICTORY to the whole world. You can see Jesus in every song, the empowering melody lifting up our spirit giving us hope through the hardship times. Can’t wait for the full album to be heard.

- .

A good song or two.. but I’m so disappointed to listen and not feel the anointing through these songs like used to be on bethel albums. Maybe it’s the authentic spontaneous moments I’m missing. The words to the songs don’t move me like the older songs do. Not sure. A little disappointed.

- SOOOOO GOOOOOOD 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😭😩❤️ but 1st, rant

I don’t think I’ve ever felt so connected to a Bethel album ‘till this one! But first let me run on a little rant: — I’ve been reading some of the comments and it SADDENS me some people’s comments!! HOW do you mean to tell me or say the fact that certain people aren’t in the album, it’s AUTOMATICALLY a No or you’ll give it a “PASS”?!? First off, why were you listening to Bethel in the first place? Ask yourself, was it to Give God glory or was it for the people’ talents/voices?!? Because REGARDLESS who leads worship, You should ALWAYS put aside any personal feelings/opinions and just WORSHIP & ESPECIALLY through these songs! Less of you, More Of Him! I bet you, If you put aside your personal thoughts/feelings or opinions about why these people aren’t in the album, you WILL Find HIM through these songs! If that was your purpose of listening to Bethel in the first place! Whether or not they are in the album, you can FEEL the Holy Spirit moving and feel His Presence, SO ANOINTING! Now, I get that you might feel more connected through some people than others, we all do, I also love Steff and Amanda on Bethel albums’ but not to the point to shout out the ones that are trying, leading us to Father, just because they aren’t your “faves”! Believe it or not, This is not Spiritual or Jesus’ like because these songs are amazing and anointing just as the others in Bethel’s past albums! especially for “Raise a Hallelujah”, “Victory is Yours” or “Ain’t No Grave”! To anyone feeling or commenting stuff like that, please as John Crist would say: “Check your heart” 😘❤️🙏🏾 With that being said, I CANT WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM!!! Already preordered and it’s been on REPEAT since the preordered date! Can’t wait for Friday (01/25/2019)🙏🏾😩❤️❤️❤️ Blessings! Grateful for you guys!

- Momma of 6

I love to hear each one of my children sing! Everyone of them brings something that only they can bring and give! I couldn’t possibly prefer or compare them... that’s not how hearts are created and wired to function in love! It blesses me so close and tender. When each one has the Moment to share their heart and voice with their siblings and me....their is great rejoicing at their gifts and desire to share. When they raise their hands and sing and move their bodies in worship to our PAPA creator it is a party of joy that blesses God! This album blesses our PAPA and it brings HIM great delight and joy!

- Oh Well! Anyways...

May Jesus Be Glorified!!!

- No Amanda or Steffany?

Some of the songs are good, but without Amanda & Steffany, it won’t be a favorite.

- Love it!!

Presence over people. Beautiful, anointed worship! 🙌🏻

- Taking a pass

Steffany and Amanda, where are you? Jeremy moved on and you two not on this, and no explanation, no news. I think I’ll wait and may buy a song or two, but ....

- Thank You for This Album - New Sound!

Bethel Music, I sincerely appreciate the vibe and flow of this album; also how you all continue to move with a new sound and tune with each album - it's never the same. This is reminiscent of a 2015's "We Will Not Be Shaken" and maybe an album from Housefires. Brian, I deeply rejoice when you produce and sing songs like "Strong in Us", and from this album "Praise Is the Highway". I also enjoy the new voices along with the new sounnd. I'd be remiss, though, to confess that I miss the depth yet smoothness of Matt Stinton, creativity of Amanda Cook, passion of Jeremey Riddle, and audacity of William Matthews. Thank you for the new sound!

- New Generations

I agree with freedom fighter! New voices and new generations rising up should be celebrated! Can’t be Steff, Amanda or Jeremy forever. Their discipleship will be their legacy— what more could you ask for? PLUS. Ain’t No Grave is fire! Almost hit the floor just listening to a clip!

- Freedom fighter

This album is fire, yes, new voices but in a culture that raises up, this should be something celebrated. Sing a new song!! Can’t wait to get the entire album!!

- Worth it!!

Such a new great release!! Can’t wait for the rest rest! Ain’t no grave!!!

- Not up to expectations

For the most part, these songs sound like they were released in 2005. Unfortunately, they just aren’t super exciting. I’m sure they are very powerful live, but as a record, it feels more like a Chris Tomlin release.

- Presence over people

Bethel isn’t built around 2-3 “celebrity” worship leaders, I’m beyond happy they realize that and give others a chance to worship on their platform. I’m not opposed to any of them but it’s so sad to see people dislike this album because someone ISNT on it. We’re here to worship Jesus, not steffany......

- What happened to their best artists? Skeptical at this point.

It’s really strange to see a Bethel Music album without Steffany, Amanda, Jeremy, or William. In my opinion Bethel’s was at their best around the Tides, You Make Me Brave, & Have it All albums and the best songs on those records were from Steffany, Amanda, Jeremy & William. It’s so strange to see a Bethel Music album without ANY of them. Gave these first songs a shot but they just feels forced (a Johnny Cash cover? Really?). Something is off without all those worship leaders who made us fall in love with Bethel Music in the first place.

- Layoff Bethel re: Absence of Amanda & Steffany 👍🏻👍🏻

How hard it must be to be judged by those who have no idea how hard it is to represent all Bethel artists on one album. There are so many things happening behind the scenes that gen. public do not understand. Several things I want to point out: 1. Bethel owes you no apology for no having this or that Bethel artist on any given album. 2. Steffany just had a solo project drop this past year and Amanda, if you have been reading her Insta’s, is planning to release some music this year as well. 3. Remember, Presence over preference! It is for this same reason that churches split or worse, close. Finally, gen. public has not even heard the entire album yet. How can ratings rightly be given at this point. Bethel, thank you for continuing to deliver music that point listeners to God!

- Amazing even without Steffany and Amanda

Stefan’s and Amanda took a short break for this one I assume this is because Steffany just released blackout, and Amanda is working on a solo project. However this album is still amazing!!!! All the songs are great!!!!!! This album is a favorite so far! Also how is no one upset Kristene Dimarco isn’t on this one??? She’s literally one of the best!?! 😂😂😂

- This album is needed.

These songs are for now and it’s definitely a new sound partly due to the new artists. But Bethel also has never been one to follow others but has consistently been unafraid to forge new paths. I’ve been looking forward to “Promises” by Emmy Rose and have been inspired by the Helsers’ “Raise a Hallelujah” due to Jaxon’s amazing recovery. Molly Skagg’s country-toned “Ain’t No Grave” is a rip-roaring tune that is full of powerful truths and declarations. In fact, most of the songs are all filled with powerful truths and declarations. It will definitely bring you to faith (by hearing) and gratitude for what God has already begun working in your life... Victory!
