God her voice makes me want to smack my head on a wall. Absolutely don’t understand how this is even classified as “country”

This is an amazing COUNTRY album from Maren! She works in pop influences very well throughout without comprising her artistry in the slightest. I think it’s very telling that women in country get called out more for making pop-influenced music than the men who do the same thing. Frankly, I don’t know what else you expect them to do when country radio refuses to play women.

Her first album was by far her best, yea it was still somewhat on the poppier side of country but it didn’t sound so over produced. My church, Once & second Wind are where it’s at.

Not sure when she decided to turn pop, but this album falls way short.

Do not spend the money. Sounds like every other boring mainstream album.
