So far there's not a melody in sight. We all know she can be better than this.

Sometimes artist will go back and have a 70's with modern sound, or 80's, 90's 2000's but Madonna's album sounds 2004 ish when music went basic, that time "4mins" was born, songs sound like demos. I'm not a fan of hers, but sometimes she'll bring nice songs to the table, such as MDNA. Don't wanna criticize her voice, but its gotten worse, as of yet. The album cover is pretty cool, even tho a fan spotted an interesting detail, her mouth looks sealed up with stitches, while yes she looks nice like that, why would she do that knowing shes one of the most mind spoken artist out there.

This is a really amazing album, another legendary in history of Madonna and I truly mean it. My journey with Madonna is special, unique and started way back in Brazil when I was 15 y/o now I am 46y/o. Now every album of Madonna is unique and special and Madame X is another one to the collection. I could say today, I became a Club DJ because of Madonna, going to dance every weekend at Liquid in Miami all that era is a lot to do with who I became today so thank you for another great album and thank you for show this new kids that age is maybe a number.

Look at the ratings overview, Madonna is as devisive as ever. Those who hate her have always had issues with her and those who love her have been loyal through it all. The tracks dropped so far just prove that Madonna continues to be true to herself. She is not afriad to continually experiment. that's what artists do. Anyone with a creative mind understands. Her music is not just for your entertainment. Read the lyrics, learn the story they tell, understand that there is more to her music than the beat you hear. Haters harping on the fact that she's collaborated with other artists to "stay relevent" miss the point. Read the titles in your playlist. Most artists are collaborating on their work lately. It is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength. Medellin is a great collaboration with Maluma. Meanwhile, if you dig deep, Rise can inspire you to be true to yourself and those around you. Riding on her recent GLAAD award, Rise is sure to be an anthem of this years LGBTQ Pride celebrations! I for one, look forward to hearing more!!

Just no.

Madonna used to be on the cusp of trends. Now she’s always trying to latch on too late. Her mojo must be officially gone. Been nearly 20 years of lackluster songs from her. That probably amounts to more bad material overall than good stuff at this point, and that puts her legacy at risk. It’s the 30th anniversary of Like A Prayer, if she’s so compelled to keep making music she should’ve hired back Patrick Leonard to make another record with. Guaranteed it would’ve been more interesting than this soulless attempt at appealing to the Trap fad.

Enjoy the collaboration.....Madonna knows how to make it happen with todays hot performers. Maluma is hot and Madonna is hot= totally HOT Thanks to you both for making HOT1

Yrs back Madonna could make a claim of originality, but no longer. Both available tunes are nothing more than a product a producer/record company puts out for sales and not for musical value. And when an artist relies on “featuring so & so” its a fad and sign of weak material from the Material Girl.

Sorry to hear Madonna go after what's in the In, Current, The Now of the lastest studio "genius". I'm a Todd Rundgren devotee and you can't find someone that bucked his top 40 persona more than Todd to the frustration of his fans. But he always gave you the core of who he was even though not nearly enough. Madonna is a joy to popular music. This is missing the soul of who she really is. Anyone remember "Angel" missing from the Immaculent Collecion. That said, given her earned stature in pop music I will listen to all of it when available and it takes nothing away from her cultural supernova.

It's time to take a break from music. Normally I look forward to your latest offerings. But the 3 samples available on iTunes paint a dreary picture. You used to create trends and now you're just following them and not doing a very good job of it. Let us wonder where you’ve been and then come back strong (hopefully). Raise your kids, do some charity work, stop following politics, see how the average American lives. Get out of your bubble, and you know, act like a regular American again. Or not…

Now I know why the last Madonna album I bought was "Confessions on a Dance Floor". This album makes "American Life" (also aweful) look like work of art.

Medellin was okay for a zumba class until she starting vocalizing. Ugh

Honestly last Madonna I really enjoyed was Confessions. Her best tour also. This song is at least catchy and not trying too hard like MDNA and Rebel Heart. Hopefully the tour will be back to form also.

Madonna isn't relevant at all. Her weak vocals in the past at least could be manipulated into sounding a bit more inventive with the right producer. Now, her weak vocals don't cut it al all. No amounts of processing, overdubbing, distorting, or multiple voice over tracks can save this outdated mess.

Both songs so far are so bad..her voice is embellished with so much autotune it gives you a headache..

Sad that so many want to say she is desperate, irrelevant, old, and should retire....... WHY? Because she has kept going nonstop 30 plus years!!!??? Is a female that does exactly what she wants??!!!! She does not try to fit in to the categories ya’ll want her to? BTW, she’s never had a public breakdown or turned to drugs or rehab like many others........ ANOTHER BTW, like it or not - Shes one of the top selling female artists of all time ...... 💁‍♂️💁‍♂️💁‍♂️ I’m sure all the ones that are ageist against her envy her stamina!!! The collab with Maluma is beautiful... the sound is upbeat and in typical Madonna fashion - puts u in a good mood and makes u wana dance... whats wrong with that?! Ya’ll need to get into the groove and stop being ageists against Madonna.... She’s the only 60 year old female artist that is constantly brushed aside in American culture and hated on for aging......

I can’t get enough of the three songs that have been released. They are all so different but so great in their own way! I can only imagine if the rest of the album is this good. Thank you Madonna for releasing the songs week after week! What a treat for your fans! ❤️

She's hit rock bottom. "I Rise?" That girl whose clip runs through the song can't even speak proper English. Horrible song. Stop trying.

There will always be haters. But this album is gonna be a mixture of so many genres. Yes the first single was very different. But I Rise is amazing. Speaking about freedom! Come on people. Not everything is about S*x, drugs, etc. At least M’s music has meaning unlike other music today.

So far this project is an abject failure. The ill-advised Medillin died the quick death it deserved. I Rise is yet another "woe is me" song of the type she's been writing for 30 years but without the redeeming qualities of melody or vocal. Her singing is buried under layers of compression and effects and the result if just awful. I used to love her but it's time to retire. She's totally out of ideas.

I've been a fan of hers since 1980s...and she's tired. Loved Medellin despite a couple of reductive lyrics...but the other two tracks are just awful. Bland. She's the Queen of Pop, but I think she's been struggling for relevance since Hard Candy. Like Rebel Heart, Madame X appears to feature one groovy track along with 400 boring ones. 🙄

Has not made good music in 30 years

I use to buy every album this is awful what a shame for an icon awful.Cher has it right age has nothing to do with it she needs better material she has potential but this garbage is not music.

The Fado and Latin style influence is clear with Medellin and Crave. She’s showing us some new collaborations, which isn’t new to us. She’s had duets for hit songs since at least Take a Bow, though earlier with lesser known songs. It’s an interesting summertime album, easily listened and enjoyed without being whiny or overtly liberated. I think, so far, it’s a human experience and one worth living.

The song is not evn fun.... 1, 2 cha-cha-cha??? that was from back in the 50's when my grand mother used to play latin records.... Sorry. only if you are a fanatic.

Madame X finds madonna returning to form transcending cultures, geographies and economies. It is an album that is beyond the archetype. You’ll encounter weird and bizarre moments; after all Madonna is Madonna for a reason. Overall, it is a futuristic album and has very much to offer to the fans and to the fellow artists who will get inspired and pick up from here. Maybe, it is the most experimental album. I’d describe it as unlike anything she’s ever done but importantly unlike anything anyone has ever done. Who else has fused an album with three different languages organically flowing around! Who else has changed the tonality of their voice to convey their emotion (God Control appears sung through clenched teeth)! Who else moves from dance music to ballads so effortlessly! Who else can put a positive spin to a gloomy world picture! Madame ❌ is many things but it’s singularly captivating. It definitely draws out a strong opinion and that has to be art! “It’s easy to be lazy & hard to get away from the crowd” “& either way my baby we’ll never be the same” so sang she in Intervention back on #AmericanLife, and seems to live by that belief even today. It’s no surprise that the producer to helm Madame ❌ is @mirwais.official who has collaborated for a third time on what can be only described as #Brilliant #Unique #Timeless #Ballsy #Badass #Art with great support from @jasonevigan @therealmikedean #Billboard!
