From what i have heard already its awesome ;). Been a fan of slipknot since high school and listening to the new songs they put out i am really excited and i havent been excited for a slipknot album since Vol 3. Dont get me wrong, there are a select few that i liked in AHIG and The Gray (RIP) Chapter was a step in the right direction. But now it seems like they have upped their game. Saying it now! This will be the best metal album of the year!! Cant wait for official release!!!

After a lengthy break with finding their feet with the new members and writing new music, it's great to see that they're finally coming back with a brand new album! From what I've heard so far, this is classic the classic, heavy Slipknot that I fell in love with.

The anticipation for this album has been absolutely blisteringly painful; And i'm so happy to say the wait was worth it. This album is like a freakish amalgamation of everything that makes the Knot' great, with tunes that you would swear are straight out of Iowa such as Red Flag or Nero Forte, infectious choruses that will take your mind hostage for the next few weeks such as Critical Darling, Unsainted or Orphan, even completely experimental tracks that break down the boundaries of Slipknot's writing process with absolute success such as Spiders or Solway Firth. Overall, fans of classic Knot, new Knot or even Not-Knot will embrace this album with open arms, it's honestly Slipknot's best release since Iowa.

Let’s be honest, as much as we love Slipknot, and I have for 18 years, the last two albums do not meet our expectations. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still good albums, chapter 5 especially, but they came nowhere near the level of the first 3 albums (not including MFKR). But WANYK absolutely blew me away on first listen. It has the mature/melodic sound of Vol3 but also the heaviness/creepiness of the self-titles album. This album is very diverse and all the tracks have a unique sound to them. There’s plenty of brutality, catchy clean vocals, weird sounds and a few “softer” songs. Like Slipknot and Vol3 I find myself unable to skip any tracks. But my favourites have to be Unsainted, Orphan and Liar’s Funeral right now.
