These songs are more rock/country, but that's what Miranda has always done. Go back and listen to Kerosene - same type of sound. But I love everything Miranda does, because she is honest and a great storyteller, she can hit every emotion that you have from fun, happy, to sad & total heatbreak. This album is fun and upbeat; my favorite is Bluebird.

As someone who’s been a fan for a long time, this album is one of her best! She never fails to push the boundaries, stay true to herself, and write about things that can be everyone’s story. There’s truly a song for everyone on this album!!!! Love her and the way she’s evolved over the years but still manages to go back to her roots. Amazing.

I have all her CDs and like them all. But I like this one best of all, after only a few listens. It has no filler, all the songs are great. She is one of the few country artists who haven’t sold out to country-pop.

I miss the old sassy Miranda. I could listen to every one of her albums all day long with the exception of Wildcard. It’s cool to venture out and try new things, but please don’t sell out to the bro country bull$h!t just to get radio play. Time to come home, girl.

This is not the Miranda you are used to, but still this is a happy place to be. I feel good when I play this and I'm not caring really whether it's real country or something else. She just has a great voice and this is a happy happy group of recordings.

Different sound from Weight of These Wings, and I love that she always keeps her signature style while creating something new. First two tracks make me want to get up and dance and I love the bluey Holy Water..... I could go on. She has soul backed up with great songwriting, a unique voice, and fantastic band. Love the mandolin (I believe that's what I'm hearing) on many of the tracks. Wish she worked with Dave Cobb on production, though.

Been a fan since the beginning and I don’t know how she does it. Every song sounds like a Miranda song but every song sounds different. This is something she does every record and it’s excellent. This album is so good that I haven’t been able to stop listening or rank the songs in any kind of order. They are all so good!! Miranda Lambert is a genius!!!

If you’re looking for songs like white liar, heart like mine, automatic, house that built me. You won’t find that here. Miranda has made the same left turn Eric church did with his last album, disappointing 👎🏻

She does it again! Miranda continues to give us a new take on her own personal style, never staying too close to the past while not leaving it completely behind. “Wildcard” gives a new take on the applications of Miranda’s beautiful voice especially evident in tracks such as “Fire Escape” (I’m a sucker for a good dramatic build) while showing personality similar to songs such as “Automatic” or “House that Built Me” in a new way with songs like “Bluebird” and during all of this new innovative sound she still manages to rock us out with songs “Mess with My Head” and “Locomotive”. Overall I would 10/10 recommended this new chapter in Miranda’s career and praise how she’s maintained our devoted attention through 10 albums (7 solo and 3 with the Pistol Annies) reaching to date a total of 146 songs! I have always been a huge ML fan for what she is...which is everything everyone else is not. Until this album. This album is awful. It’s pop music with no country tone. Not true meaningful country. I had to question if she even wrote these songs they are so bad and unlike her other albums. I’ll take Angaleena Presley any day over this garbage.

This is such a well rounded album from Miranda. She and those she writes with are lyrical geniuses. She mixes this album up with funny playful songs and yet didn’t stray too far from her normal depth in others. It’s beautiful all the way around! 🎰

This album is straight up phenomenal; cant wait to hear it on vinyl. “Dark Bars” is my favorite, but each and every song is catchy and will be on repeat until the end of time!
