I have so excited for this movie since the trailer came out, I have both 2 volume soundtracks and i can't wait add this movies soundtrack to my collection. I love this soundtrack so much! My favorites are “Other Friends”, “systemBOOT.PearlFinal(3).Info”, “Drift Away”, and “Let Us Adore You”. Outstanding performances by Ebersole, Hannigan, Lupone, Callison, Magno Hall, Estelle, and Stiles. Beautiful music!

Even before the movie was released, the soundtrack ALREADY sounded amazing; with the context in the movie, everything is perfect. I’ve had Drift Away in my head ever since I first heard it in the premiere on the CN channel. The Diamonds are BOMB, musically talented singers, and there are singing voices from old gems we haven’t heard before/much (OPAL, Bismuth, Peri and Lapis, etc). The songs somehow work in AND out of context; overall, LOVED the soundtrack and LOVED the movie!

I don’t have to even listen to all of these yet to know how amazing the songs are. Aivi, Surasshu, Rebecca, and so many more amazingly talented people who help create such amazing music that needs to be released for the public to hear and appreciate.

For its first movie musical, Rebecca once again surprises us with her abilities to write and produce an array of genres of music. From a taste of broadway, rock and roll jams then to a nod towards electric jazz swing. It’s an album that can appeal to all, let alone the movie allows for new viewers to the Steven Universe series to play catch up and enjoy the film. Outstanding. 4.5 of 5 stars How did the villain even obtain that injector? Maybe for season 6 to explain...

this was honestly one of the best ways to end the series. i am throughly blown away by the music this time around. everything rebecca sugar writes is beautiful, and i’m so happy with the ending the casting for everyone is perfect, and always has been. they’re vocals are all breathtaking and i’m somehow always get better. i am so proud to have stuck around for the whole series, and am excited to see what rebecca sugar does next!
