This album is god awful a friend at work played it in the background utter rubbish. Unfortunately I don’t think it is aimed at me as I have a decent job and don’t drive a corsa round my local McDonalds at night thinking I’m cool. If I did I’m sure this tedious chavfest would be my bag.

Can’t believe I’m seeing so much hate for Stormzy in the reviews, these people must not have listened to the songs properly. EVERY song on this album is a BANGER! The flow, the poetry, the beats, the features...I could go on endlessly. This album has blown my mind! There’s not many grime artist who take an approach to music like this, this album has the perfect mix of everything 👌🏼

Thoughtful rhymes and great music

A brilliantly crafted representation of current music and culture. Genius lyrics combined with soulful beats and original melodies. I only bought this album to listen to Lessons and was blown away by every track. No fillers on this album. My favourite album of 2010’s. #superhero

What’s with all the 1-star ratings because he said he didn’t like Boris? I know most of you haven’t heard a single track from the album in full, because you have more important things to do, like shooting pheasants and shouting at peasants. It’s overrated, yes, but there’s still musical talent there that shouldn’t be ignored just because ‘boo hoo my political opinion has been invalidated’. Vossi Bop is incredibly catchy. 3 stars because a lot of the tracks sound quite similar, but there are clever lyrics and Stormzy’s personality shows through: he doesn’t have to brag about drugs and riches to be taken seriously. He’s not the greatest rapper of all time by a long stretch, but he also isn’t the force of evil that people seem determined to portray him as.

Stormzy is a great role model and an incredibly talented musician. Here he follows up his BRIT Award Winning Album of the Year ‘Gang Signs And Prayers’ with another wonderfully layered and heavily anticipated record, Heavy Is The Head. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

An incredible production made by an artist that clearly loves music. Michael (Stormzy) digs deep and creates an authentic master piece of art that shows artist development, dedication, bravery and risks it all to make the music he LOVES. This album has everything from Afro beats, grime, rap, soul, gospel and R&b. This album is a body of work and a great start to a new decade. If I was Stormzy, I would be very proud of myself!

You can tell how much thought and passion went into each and every song. You can listen to the album on repeat all day. Great album from a fantastic artist
