I'm 71 years old, and most of the songs don't draw me, but, as usual with this young lady, there are always two or three songs that grab my heart: this time, "Half of my home town" and "Needy." Finely crafted, heartfelt songs. Once this young lady matures--if she's not ruined by fame--she will be a superb songwriter and performer.

Usually, I don’t write a review but I was disappointed in a language word in a song. I think the singing is amazing but it wasn’t even labeled explicit. The innocent country is the best!

The ear candy of all your favorite pop songs, with lyrics that only one of today’s leading country artists could dream up. Catch me bopping to “bragger” all day.

The album has good songs on it. But this isn’t country. It should be considered pop. At this point I don’t think any “country” artist knows what country sounds like.

This album is breathtaking!! Each song has a unique sound and you feel ALLLL the emotions. From nostalgia, insecurity, fun, love, and heartbreak, Kelsea covered every feeling with beautiful sounds and thoughtful, artistic lyrics. I cannot emphasis how amazing this album is. Leaves you with a smile and a warm heart. So proud of you for this album Kelsea!

Kelsea has said that this is the most honest record she has ever put out and I truly believe that. She wore her heart on her sleeve with this one and it’s beautiful.

The album as a whole just doesn’t blend or work for me. Production all over the place and very pop. Her first 2 albums are better, 1st being the best

As a Country album this thing is a dumpster fire. She can sing, but these songs are trash. Label this POP and then it becomes just rubbish.

I am huge fan of kelsea. this has some really lovely songs on it (homecoming queen and half of my hometown, hole in the bottle) I gave it 4 stars because I really enjoy a few songs on it. I don’t think it has the cohesion of telling a consistent story as an album. Maybe it’s because each song had a different writer or collaborator on it, some of the collabs were awesome, but you can feel that inconsistency if you play it as a record straight through. Individually, some of the songs are shining stars that will live long on country radio.

This album is her best yet and has not one bad song. It’s a really good mix of country and a little bit of pop which I love!! I have always loved kelsea and her music. Keep writing amazing bops kels 💘💘💗💗!!!

More country crap by a fake artist.

Sounds like a cheap Taylor Swift knockoff, even down to the lyric about the scarlet letter. I’m not saying only one artist can exist in a genre but I am saying she doesn’t have a unique enough sound to avoid being called a clone.

If Kelsea makes another album, why not do a duet with either Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum or Sugarland? I think the duet song with Kenny Chesney was a good song.

Not country

I’m a huge Kelsea fan. Her first two albums had up beat songs, some mixed with soulfulness. Then some where more mellow and told a good story. All while having a good country vibe. This album is just meh. Sure there’s like 2-3 up beat songs but the rest all just sound the same. Down beat, mellow, Just talking about life, and little country vibe. A little disappointed with this album. I was hoping for more of a vibe like we go from her last two albums. Like the songs “Miss Me More”, “Peter Pan”, and “Legends”. Amongst others.

Great album! So much diversity between the different tracks! People saying it’s not country don’t understand that genres have many different sounds.

Label it what it is and don’t force it into country music.

This is kelsea Ballerini’s best album yet. Super happy that she released this record!!! This is a must listen for any country music fan🤠🎤!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
