Hearing songs like Run, and sanctuary I thought we would get a taste of a new Joji style but we ended up getting more of his style similar to Ballads1. Nothing wrong with that of course I still loved it so much. Songs like “Like you do” and “ew” take you on an emotional thrill ride while song like “pretty boy” and “tick tock” just make you wanna jam out. I really can’t wait to see what direction Joji decides to take next. I will be here for it!

this album gave me mixed feelings in a good way, so good it made me pee white for a few hours. joji makes such good music man he makes penis hard good music man i swear this man can make a screamo song and i’d still ugly cry for the next week. i’m still trying to get over my bowser body pillow that broke up with me last month and i haven’t thought about her since this album dropped harder than my balls did in 2nd grade

His album ballads 1 was good but lazy after releasing nectar it’s cool seeing him experiment and play with new things in the musical industry and nectar has topped all the albums I’ve heard in 2020

I’ve been waiting for this album for almost half a year, and the wait was definitely worth it. Joji always defies my expectations in the best ways possible. He’s grown so much as an artist and is still only getting started.

Every time Joji puts something out you can see his growth as an artist. The time spent doing filthfrank videos really helped refine his work. Great sound and production, and video content. If he keeps going he will make an even bigger name for himself.

First off, I adored Ballads 1 and thought that it was one of the best debut albums of recent years. With that said I had high hopes for Nectar. While I thoroughly enjoyed the album it does feel slow in some parts as some tracks sound relatively the same in that while yes his voice is the same the production is also similar. I feel like if he took as much risks that he did in Ballads 1 this could’ve been an even better record. Nevertheless this album has only a few misses being “high hopes” “your man” and “reanimator” however you can forgive these because of tracks like “Like you do” “Mr Hollywood” “pretty boy” and “MODUS”. I would personally give this album a 7/10 and would definitely recommend to someone looking for a different taste in music

I love the layers of each song, and Joji’s vocals are like butter. There’s not one song I don’t like, and I like that the songs aren’t overly filled with instrumentals. He’s come a long way, and I’m so glad I’ve been able to appreciate the transition.

Not a huge fan of the fast ‘pop’ songs. Overall it’s good

I’ve been a fan of Joji since his Pink guy years. To hear how he has evolved in his singing style is amazing. His voice and how he pours his emotions in his songs is amazing. This album has brought me to tears and as well as shock because I never expected it to be something like this. It was worth the wait and I hope to hear more from him in the future.
