- Nailed it

She’s done it again. Amazing, just freaking amazing. Lyrics, melodies, harmonies all perfect

- folklore combines the best of Taylor while still feeling new.

folklore is fresh yet still feels like a Swift album. The album showcases her songwriting skills to an impressive extent, as well as her ability to create a cohesive theme and paint out a story in each of the songs. The album has upbeat songs, such as Betty, and ballads like exile (featuring Bon Iver), and everything in between. folklore is an incredibly mature album and a highlight in Taylor's career.

- By Emity

Lovely songn

- folklore

oh. my. god. this album is beyond my expectations for any artist ever. taylor out did herself in ever aspect of this album the production, lyrics and vocals. it’s so gorgeous, there are no skips or bad songs.

- Masterpiece

A well written story delivered as 16 beautiful songs. What more can I say. The best thing your ears will ever hear.

- Pop off Taylor

Lyrically amazing, a beautiful complication of art which captures the best of Swift’s abilities! She really popped off with this one.

so beautiful. the complexity of the lyrics is everything. every song sounds so angelic. just perfect. <33333

- *Chef kisses*

This is such a different sound for her and so mature, loved every single song 10 outta 10✨

This album combines the best of Taylor into an amazing piece of art! 10/10

- Unexpectedly Perfect

I was expecting pop or some sort of folk/atmospheric-pop reminiscent of “Safe and Sound” based on the album cover alone—this was much, much better. Sad Girl Alt is a great sound for Swift, and while some lyrics are decidedly ‘her,’ some lines wouldn’t have felt out of place in the mouths of artists like Lana del Rey, Florence Welch, Hozier, King Princess and Girl In Red. 10/10.

- Beautiful Gift

I’m a long time Swiftie so when I heard Taylor was releasing a new album, I was so excited! This album reminds me a lot of ‘Fearless’, many medleys, beautiful lyrics and touching themes in every song. This album is beautifully orchestrated, showing true depth, growth and maturity. It is simplistic, yet complex. An album for everyone, and a beautiful gift from Taylor to her fans.

Taylor shines on this album. The lyrics on every song are absolutely incredible. And part 2 comes out tonight...I CANT WAIT FOR EVERMORE!!

- Love

- Never thought a lot about Taylor until Folklore.

I had never thought a lot about Taylor until Folklore. Watching the streaming special on Disney+ and am enchanted. The ingenuity the recording industry is using to keep gems like this being recorded and released. Grammy needs not forget this one come nomination time.

- Amazing!!!

The album is fantastic!!

- One of her best

This is taylor swift for real in all her glory she's writing about other things that aren't herself and some of the fans have a issue with that - but the writing is top notch. This album isn't boring you are and the album is a mood. Headphones and several listens - make sure you're in the mood to feel mellow happy or mellow sad etc. This one of my favorite albums she's done - I love Mirror ball, August, sever, the 1, the lakes, the best, but I won't skip any of the others I just don't go listening to them as much as I might the ones mentioned.

- No words......

Best album I’ve listened to since Eagles. Didn’t even know who you were Taylor and then “folklore” I have no words.......

- Peaceful

This album helped me through a rough time in the military. Covid response in a new place with no one. It was perfectly timed and will always remind me of that time in my life, binge listening in the middle of the night in my Jeep with the top down.

- Taylor, Taylor, Taylor what happened

You used to be a great artist, from your album fearless, to red, and other great albums, country and pop, to whatever this is, even that sound ME that ya did and that song look what you made me do 🤮 come on girl that’s not you

- Amazing

Best album of the year

- Album of 2020

This may be Taylor Swift’s best albums. Every song is good her writing skills are amazing. She’s the songstress of the 21st century.

- Mad Woman

This project is a novel creeping with lovely melodies behind ever corner. Not only does she showcase her timeless talent and true artistry, I feel like I’ve been introduced to her most authentic self. A capsule of inspiring collaboration and potent story telling.

- Folklore review

Wow Taylor Swift, thank you so much for this album. Each and every song I listen to of Taylor’s amazed me more and more. Taylor is the most skilled song writer I have ever come across. Taylor has faced more criticism than a young girl/woman should ever have to face, and I get that not everyone has to enjoy the same music, but no one can deny Taylor’s songwriting abilities. I am sorry, but go try to write a Taylor level or higher song, it’s really hard!! Believe me, I’ve written hundreds of songs, studied hundreds of songs, and in fact I guess you could say that I live for music and songwriting. Anyway, thank you Taylor Swift for this album, I feel honored for the opportunity to listen to it, and I even feel like just listening to it and watching the Disney+ session made me a better songwriter, so thank you so much!

- Amazing.

folklore is such a creative album with a different feel to it compared to the last albums Taylor had made. In a good way, but I think that this album is a great album!!!

- Great

These songs Do Not all sound the same; that’s what I thought at first, but as I listened more, each one stood out on it’s own, and these songs are amazing. Epiphany is extremely heartbreaking and I think it goes along with current events very well. Invisible String is a very sweet, beautiful love story, and all the break up-like songs are also beautiful. This album came along at just the right time for me, right after a break-up, and the songs say exactly how I feel, in words I couldn’t have described on my own. Taylor, you are very smart.

- amazing as always

love the vibe and style of this album !

- A must listen from beginning to end and back again

Simply beautiful and yearning, exquisitely cobalt and emotive storytelling. Wonderful pandemic work...many artists will be motivated to do something like this.

- Review

A masterpiece of album! Folklore is the Album of the Year in my opinion, and one of the most incredible pieces written during the pandemic.

- perfect. peaceful. melancholic.

by far her best lyrics and production out of all of her other amazing albums.

- amazing

best album she has ever written and deserves aoty at the grammys. she also outsold your favs so stay mad

- Immaculate

Not even my usual type of music but you literally cannot say this isn’t quality

- Amazing

The best album of the year! Got a bunch of grammys for a reason

- 👎

One star rating for so many reasons. Taylor I think you’re becoming a has been. Just keeping it real.

- She’s done it again

One of her best albums for sure she’s so talented❤️

- Not my cup of tea…

Even after having listened for four times to its entirety, this album doesn’t really have anything to offer other than a potential monotonous and evanescing background track to whatever it is you’re doing. None of the songs are particularly memorable and consequently fail as stand-alones. The lyrics at times are extremely insipid, the instrumentals between songs quickly become repetitive, and Taylor’s middle eights are characteristically filled with a glut of vacuous youthful recollections. Yeah, all of the songs and the visualizers are cohesive, but this steadfast wholeness renders the album craving for something more enticing to grace it, especially when compared to her previous works.

- It’s my favorite album from her of all time

Just truly amazing!

- so freaking good

a lyrical masterpiece

- good good GOOD

v nice

- Album of the year

Album of the year!!!

- Ummmmm

So I love Taylor and lover, reputation and fearless. Butttttt something u love about her other albums is that all the songs sound so different, but on this record literally all the songs sounds the same. Cardigan is pretty good but don’t buy the whole album.

- One of her best albums

One of best albums. I love how calm and relaxing it is.

- I fall in love with this. Album

Look Taylor you absolutely did it again This album it’s sad happy mad and have all the feelings in it and I mean when I listen to it it’s .....my life You know in exile I see everything In cardigan I feel the pain And in Betty I review my all memories And I just people say it’s the same but I think it’s great I I don’t know And about the cover ( it talks to me ) And I want you to know that I love this album as much as others I mean I could send is better than others But please please please more music videos Tnx I love u

- Calm

Love this album so much! Taylor outdone herself with this lyrical masterpiece

- Album of the century

the dark side of the moon of this century

- 🤍🤍🤍🤍

OMG i love this album so much!!!

- Love the new style

I never cared for TS until this album. She made a complete change in style, from childish pop rubbish to mature, heartfelt ballads. I can't get enough of it, definitely my current favorite. I'm knocking off a star for the foul language...just unnecessary.

- Bonafide Meta

Album of the Year

- The perfect album right now

Taylor Swift has done it again. With this album she once again showed off her incredible song writing capability. I'll admit, I didn't really like this album at first, but it really is a grower. It might seem boring but every song from this album is a masterpiece. You'll learn to love everything about this album as long as you give it a chance. This was the perfect album to come out right now and I very strongly recommend everyone buys this.

- Perfect

This is a great chill album to listen to. Exactly what is needed to calm the stress of the pandemic.

- My favorite so far

This album is so different from everything Taylor has done, and yet on par with all of her others. The entire album is relaxing. It’s storytelling at its finest. She’s a lyrical genius, and this album showcases her songwriting so beautifully. It’s quickly become one of my favorite albums of all time.

- CARDIGANNN!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love cardigan so much!!! Such a beautiful songgggg!!! I love the melodies so much!! Highly recommend!! I love Taylor she is a queeennnn!! Her songwriting skills are on point!! 100% recommend this songggg!!!

- Eh

Really, her songs are good. Her country albums were still so much better, and now she is always cussing. Every song on here sounds the same! Eh, it’s okay.

- I had a marvelous time listening to this album.

I did not care for Lover at all, but I was completely blown away by this album! This album feels more mature and inviting with thought provoking lyrics and beautiful music. Maybe she should leave Pop behind!

- Meh

So much hype for nothing. Boring and zero hits.

- brb crying to august🥺

folklore is incredibleeeee i love

- Phenomenal

As always

- a very beautiful album

im not usually one to listen to or really like taylor’s music, but this album has some bangers. its a bit more soft and somber than expected, but i like it. she did a really amazing job lyrically and musically.

- Amazing

She is extremely talented with each latest album.

- not it

just not good

- unique and beautiful

I can’t stop listening to this album, it’s very different and unique and has a whole new atmosphere which can take you to its own world and telling you stories , I just love it , love the lyrics , her voice and everything about this album is lovely. I love seven and august and cardigan more than others but all are amazing!! she always inspires me by her intelligence

- Amazing

Somehow, she made a better album??? This girl is something else...

- Best surprise ever

Everyone that says this wasn’t a good album listens to lil pump💀

- This one’s for the naysayers

I was always on the fence with Taylor Swift. Her public life always made me roll my eyes, making it hard for me to enjoy her music. But if Lover made me come around, folklore has turned me into a complete convert. Always a talented songwriter, Taylor’s skill with words shines like a star in Southern sky. Not entirely pop but not Alternative in the extreme, folklore is a mellow, introspective and shockingly somber effort from a woman who truly deserves her place in the music world. Not only because she’s the best at what she does, but because she doesn’t need the promotional machine which backs so many of her contemporaries to deliver a new classic.

- Breathtakingly Beautiful

No, this isn’t like previous albums. In my opinion it’s one of her best. Beautiful lyrics will whisk you into a lovely daydream. It’s not energetic or dancing music but it captures the emotion that a lot of mainstream music is missing. It may not be what you’re used to but give it a chance.

- a lyrical fantasy

The songwriting and storytelling is immaculate; beautifully complemented with her soothing vocals. A perfect sweater-weather, autumny (while in lockdown) album. game changer for her!!

- Beautiful

Wow speechless

- Well....

Typical Taylor, no one can stop her

- fall vibes🍂

I love this album with my whole heart! The lyrics are some of her best !!!

- amazing!!

this album is so beautiful, and I love how it focuses on her voice. it’s so angelic and peaceful!!

- variettyyyy

taylor’s discog has such great variety. we love to see it🙈🙈

- 10/10

She’s so diverse as an artist and challenges herself to new genres and then exceeds expectations. I love the concept behind this album and her song writing is exceptional.

- Speechless

Incredibly mesmerized by this album. It’s been on repeat since it was released. Amazing.

- Surprenant!

Une très belle surprise de Taylor!

- So Boring

She lost all the life. This album is so boring. Just like everything these days. No one has any idea? I miss the eighties with real fun music.

- Not the best

I don’t like any of these songs

- The One

This is everything I’ve been waiting for since I was a fan at the age of 13. Just brilliant.

- Amazing

This is the best one so far

- Perfect!

Poetic, Imaginative and Stunning.

- 👍🏻✌🏻👍🏻❤️

- Amazing.

Most definitely my favourite Taylor album. It’s lyrically her strongest, it’s soft and raw and really showcases her ability to tell a story.

- You guys smh

This is a great album by any standards, she has branched out and made a different sounding album because that’s what she wanted to do, and by all means she definitely succeeded, so what if it’s not pop it’s still Taylor and it’s a damn good Taylor album at that. (Ps you shouldn’t be comparing to stuff in a vastly different genre like the new juice album, both are great and appeal to widely different audiences)

- Iconic

One of her best

- Garbage

Don’t bother. Waste of time for my ears.

- Noise Pollution

Garbage. This isn’t even music. Perhaps she should have stuck with country music. Is this what woke music sounds like?

- Literally the album of the decade.

Idk how folklore gets so much hate from ppl, it’s a new album by Taylor swift with a completely new music style which she nailed it. I love this album so much that I’ve been listening to it since the day of its release. Stop hating on Taylor swift, she is so talented that you could ever be.

- ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Each song healed me !!! Calming and really good

- The best, and most artistic album of hers ever.

A mature Taylor, written to just express.

- 😍😍😍

Absolutely LOVE this album might be my favourite so far !!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

- Always love you!

You always have reasons to write a song. This year is not for party, and these songs are perfectly for listening as a background music, when you reading, think or anything else. We need peace.

- YES.

most who don’t like this are incapable of emotion and appreciation for fine songwriting. substance is apparently overrated. i think this is her best album by far, and i love the character arcs & the allusions + metaphors.

- Okay not the best

This album is not pop I like Taylor pop like l Iove lover but this just is not it sorry

- Monumental

Close and personnal

- She has outdone herself once again.

- wow

breathtaking. her best yet.

- all the feels

this is the BEST album that has come out this year.... it has all the vibes and feels that the world needs right now.... Repeat, repeat, repeat

- Amazing surprise

A surprise, but a welcome one for sure. Normally not that much a fan of softer songs but the lyrics are amazing. Literally crying in my bed as I’m listening to this album. ‘Cardigan’ is the best but ‘the last great american dynasty’ & ‘the 1’ are close seconds.

- Awful

Why do people like this unoriginal garbage.

- Wei T.

Love it!!

- Be original

Why does Taylor want to be Lana Del Rey so badly?

This extraordinary, talented and creative woman never cease to amaze me! 14 years in the industry and she effortlessly proves her range, versatility and beautiful storytelling with raw emotions and imagination. This is something fresh and cannot compare to things she’s done before. What a mixture of calm and haunting melodies. As much as I know I will enjoy this album until eternity, I can’t wait what else you have under your sleeves Miss Swift!! Congrats on a really beautiful record.

- 👌👌👌

- love it

Last great American dynasty is my hands down favourite

- Beautifully written melodies

This album blew me away, it’s mellow and melancholy with touches of country. Her voice sounds astonishing in this album. She hits you with tracks like Seven, and then Mad Woman while carrying a beautiful tone through it all. A masterpiece. I have no complaints.

- Perfect full album that you can loop again and again!

Wow - Taylor Swift! Phenomenal. You took quarantine magic to a whole new level. Can listen to this album again and again and again, on repeat. Well done with your lyrical genius and cheers to the collaborators.

- So different

This album is incomparable to any other. It’s so different and I love it. It’s not exactly my style of music, but I like all the songs anyway. They tell a good story. The lyrics are much more mature and meaningful than her other albums. The genre will have to grow on me, but I love it no less.

- Amazing

The best Taylor is yet to come

- Beautiful.

She’s created beautiful melodies and storytelling lyrics for this album. Every song is a masterpiece. Gone from country to pop and now to alternative, she always raises the bar. Thank you Taylor for this wonderful album.

- Taylor you did it again!!!

One of the best album ever! Congratulations on Folklore👏🏻❤️

- unlike anything she has done before

Tender. Surreal. Soothing.

- Best one till date

Loved it taylorrrrr

- Bbyur

Quad engine

- Crazy for this album

- She’s the best

- a masterpiece

Been her fan since ‘09 and this album is huge. Couldnt be more proud of Taylor.

- Folklore

This is the finest album Swift has ever delivered to us with her magnificent songwriting! The lyrics in this album is so beautiful and perfect. 7, August and The last great American dynasty are my favourites off the album folklore aka A Masterpiece.

- Taylor at her best

For me, this is the best album she has released yet. And it is high praise because I love her discography. This album though has taken me ny surprise in the best possible way. Just put this on, relax and get lost in the stories.

Taylor did it again. Songwriting 13/10.

- breathtaking

been listening to it ever since it got released. i love this.

- Seismic creativity from the bottom of her Tennessee heart.

Taylor’s innate ability to write her own music from her personal experiences in life to make her craft stand out makes her one of the most significant singer-songwriters of our generation! ‘folklore’ is an album that is far beyond any other record she has made till date and to think that she’s just 30! This record is massive in dimensions not accessed by any of her previous albums. The songwriting is tangibly vulnerable & as sharp as ever. The vocals are heart wrenching & very mature. Her ever evolving creative trajectory is impeccable & has reached a level that’s very hard to match. The record reinstates her faithful collaboration with music mogul Jack Antonoff & it just another reflection of what their explosive creativities coming together for the emergence of great music that will stand the test of time. Co-writing with Aaron Dessner from The National & the gutting duet with Bon Iver is one of the best things about the whole album. My highlights are ‘exile’, ‘august’, ‘this is me trying’,‘cardigan’, ‘illicit affairs’, ‘invisible string’ & obviously ‘hoax’ !!! (in no order) From the darkness in ‘mad woman’ to the sunshine in ‘betty’, the rain in ‘my tears richochet’, the autumn in ‘august’ & the winter in ‘hoax’ shows the very diverse landscape of the album. A theme that has strongly prevailed in her previous work as well. The timeline of the songs are not linear as they were in ‘reputation’ but this time there’s a puzzle hidden amongst the characters in different tracks! Heartiest congratulations Taylor for yet another fabulous record! Your creativity, relentless pursuit to self improvement & infectious passion are truly inspiring. I cannot wait to see what the future holds! love love love, X

- The best of Taylor Swift

This is the best version of Taylor Swift we’ve ever seen. Aaron Dessner and Bon Iver deliver to their highest abilities, too.

- A classic Masterpiece, best piece of her work

I just finished listening to the entire album and I loved it. this album is so much more vulnerable than her other ones and you can tell she's pouring her emotions into every song. this album is different then her other ones because its all acoustic and it goes with the sad vibe. a lot of the songs were emotional and I did tear up on a lot of them, if you listen to the lyrics you can tell they are beautifully written and there are so many hidden messages hidden behind them and the hidden references. not all of her songs were sad, some songs were actually angry, like mad woman for example, her voice sounds soothing in the song but if you can hear the mad undertone because she's been wronged so many times in her career and her being provoked to do the things she did and when ever she try's to speak out about it the public immediately shuts her down. another different song in my opinion is my tears ricochet because even thought the tone of the song is kind of sad the lyrics are talking about how even though people keep trying to bring her down she now knows her self worth and she knows that she is not what those people say she is, the song kind of reminds me of daylight and the saying, step into the daylight and let it go. overall this album was incredible and I loved it so much, the colour schemes for each song in the lyric videos were so cleverly thought out and it matched each song perfectly, the album was kind of in a sense vintage and in most of her lyric videos the font was type writer which made it seem very old school which I think was the theme of the album. this album definitely wasn't like any of her other albums but it has this different kind of tone to the album where I think its what this fandom needed, it shows that taylor is still the girl who loves writing music and putting all her emotion in the lyrics and into her music. she's showing everyone that she hasn't changed a lot, her voice matured and she became an amazing artist but she's showing that deep down she's still that 13 year old girl who fell in love with music. taylors done so much throughout her career like switching from country to pop but I think this album was just, taylor. I think in my opinion that this album isn't what the public wanted or whoever else wanted to hear, but what taylor wanted.

- Love and respect Her

From 2009 to 2020, along with her journey and drama my love and respect for her soar higher and higher! This album does touch me deeply. I truly appreciate the choice to be mellifluous in this album❤️❤️❤️ I am falling for her all over again! If you go through her albums, it’s like reading a girl’s / lady’s / glam celebrity’s / naive lover’s / angry woman’s / mad woman’s diaries... So personal yet objective... sometimes, I drift away to other artists but she pulls my collar and as how dare you do that to me with her songs! I can’t help but love her if she makes such beautiful tunes and writes immense personal folks on top it her singing quality is dense! Oh man she sounds soooooo amazing! Especially, when the whole world is stuck with this pandemic, she continued working and made us all proud yet again... thank you Tay for being inspirational 🤗🤗🤗

- Wonderful

It hits different if you are mature enough to see the different side of life and pain , the happy moment in pain when someone is there for you when nobody else has . I love Taylor she is different from other artist she writes real stuff .

- Taylor Swift’s Songwriting Masterpiece

Her songwriting crescendoes at it’s best, surrounded by a folk-indie sound to make her most emotional, deep and complex album yet.

- Amazing Album

Taylor just did it again, always amazing!!

- Queen Slayed

Her best work lyrically

- Amazing must have

One of the best albums by tay tay , Cardigan , exile , Betty hoax ,last great American dynasty , the 1 are my favorite from it, few songs gave ( exile cardigan Betty the 1) me goosebumps ( last Swift song to give goosebump was wildest dreams)

- Masterpiece

Taylor Swift saved 2020, thanks

- Folklore

Her best one yet

- Taylor Swift’s Future.

This album shows a new side of Taylor Swift Indie Pop isn’t her style often, when you ask people about taylor swift her new fans would say, “I love her album 1989, few songs from RED réputation and a bit from Lover” her old fans would say, “I love her old and new songs, Teardrops on my guitar will be forever iconic.” Since indie pop is a genre that includes a tad bit of timidity and pop, the listener sees a whole new side of the artist where her past is combined with a new, mature future. The tune in each song compliments the explicit, raw meaning which is an art that only few can perform, she uses harsh words in her songs which is something that we haven’t seen her doing in her previous songs. We are seeing the artists mature, growing in front of us, using unique almost forgotten words in this age as her song titles she piques the listener’s interest. Believe it or not, the lowercase does actually play a role, seeing a lowercase letter at the start of a word tells us that she is going to talk about something that is not a very gleeful story. However, the theme is carefully picked, the lyrics can be the harshest if heard without the timid melody is whaf makes it a beautiful, strong, harsh album of taylor swift.

- who is doing it like her?

so she finally released an indie record that’s much cooler than mine ha!

- Taylegend for a reason

One of the best albums of all time 🤍

- It’s a nope from me...

Only song I downloaded was The last great American Dynasty. I like the beat. I like her as a country artist not this style.

so good. i’ve been listening to just this album for the past 4 days. betty, the last great american dynasty and invisible string are amazing

- my favourite album

so beautiful, astonishing lyrical masterpiece. it’s one of my favourites to ever come from Taylor. some people may enjoy her pop or country music more but I am definitely here for her alternative/indie style of music as well. has mentally healed so many people and been such a source of comfort for me. thank you Taylor, thank you for this

- Always the best T.S

Loved it 💯❤️

- Best release this year!

Love this new album! Everything about it is 10/10. Swift has done it again!

- AmaZing

And Taylor and yet again do anything. This truely shows how amazing her songwriting is

- Just what I needed

This album is so calming. Even though the majority of the subject matter is sad and bittersweet, the peace and acceptance of those times, depicted in Taylor’s lyrics and melodies, allows me to be at peace with the constant worries and sadness I sometimes feel with life.

- Sensational, marvellous, moving.

Can’t stop listening.

- A lyrical Masterpiece

This album is a storytellers fantasy! Lyrically, it is exquisite and there is so much heart and soul in this album! The nuances between the songs is exceptional. This album is certainly a journey I will be taking as many times as I can. Great work Taylor!

- Brilliant

I hope Taylor Swift gets bored more often - this album is brilliantly different! Loving it, cannot pick a fav song yet

- Poetic

This album is such a breath of fresh air. It’s different for Taylor yet keeping the same expectations of change. She is proving how poetic she is. That life isn’t simple and everyone has different dreams 😍

- A Light in a Dark Album

This album is the light in the darkness of COVID. And also to those who are saying this album is a snooze-fest or she’s over ... sorry to break this to you, but this album got recognised heavily with widespread acclaim. Why? Because she has done something way more unique and different. Understandable if you don’t like it because you’re used to reputation or 1989 vibes. But that doesn’t give you the right to shame this album, like if you actually gave it a go then you’ll get why so many hardcore fans like myself loves this album. It has meaning, a message. And the instrumentals? Way cleaner. Give it a go, you just need to understand that this is a whole new Taylor Swift. She’s envolving.

- How?

She just keeps doing it. I don’t know how, but she does. And all I can do is thank her. Thank you Taylor Swift.

- Yessss! Sounds like the RED DAYS BUT BETTER you have your groove back

Love this, the best thing to come out of corona. Thanks Taylor

- Worth the purchase!

Not quite what I expected, definitely a change from her previous work, but life changes and moods change, and it’s only human to grow and evolve into something different. Perfect for early morning drives. 💚 As always, a big fan.

- And then it was bought by me...

For those dissing Folklore because it sounds “different” than her previous work, you cannot expect every Taylor Swift album to be the same! Taylor has shown over the extent of her many albums that she’s grown as a person - she’s changed, and so too has her music. In early albums, a heartbreak was the worst pain ever felt but later is referred to as just another learning curve. Or when the most notorious villan in the earliest albums is later forgiven with the white flag of gifts. Or even that relationships were once assigned the colour red, now have been morphed into a wave of golden bliss. This album very much describes the vibe/mood at which Taylor is in right now - calm, thankful and reminiscent. And it will definitely be played on repeat...

- Great new direction

Completely different to her recent music, and just keeps improving on each repeat like a bottle of aged red!

- Love you 3000

Love you so much, my dear Taylor!!!!

- Amazing

- Yesss

I have been waiting for another album to come out so maybe she would come to Australia on tour

- Wow

Generic lyrics written by a teenager. People buying this poo should be ashamed of themselves.

- Devine

Such a beautifully written album. This is her best one yet. Such a calm and soothing vibe.

- Simply AMAZING!

Is there anything she can’t do? THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING! ❤️😍

I saw on Snapchat a behind the scenes but I didn’t know this magical, wonderful, amazing, courageous, elegant album would be this good!!!

- Yuck

What a poor attempt at a change lol laughable

- masterpiece

- Cat

The album she was born to write. Her intricate, exquisite poetry woven into the most haunting, goosebump rendering melodies make for an album for the ages. I have literally had it on repeat for 24 hours. Deserves every award known to man.

- Wake me when it’s over

I thought I’d give this a listen. What a snoozefest. I guess if you’re a super fan you might enjoy it, but there is nothing there to grab my attention.

- Taylor’s best album to date

This album is so deep and complex and mature, completely fitting for this year. The kind of album you want to listen to alone in the car or play in the background at a dinner party or fall asleep/wake up to. It’s so sonically cohesive, yet the songs are all so different!

- stunning

pretty indie folk vibes,, my favourite album from her to date :)

- Talor Swift

Poor effort not T Swift at all is boring

- Taylor 💙

Really feeling for her, learned a lot from the mini documentary with Ed Sheehan and Taylor. I have a lot more respect for her. Sending love and hugs, Taylor. Lots of love. 💙

- Best artist ever!

I love this album! And honestly this album was unexpected, but that is the best part about it!!

- Her Best One Yet

Taylor Swift strikes again - absolute lyrical brilliance. This album is hypnotic and charming, a complete breath of fresh air I didn’t know I needed. 5/5.

I've been listening to this album on repeat since it came out. A few songs almost brought me to tears!

- Fall of Swift

For a while most people were giving swift a listen.. now with her lefty politics and unoriginality apparent, it seems the end of the Swift Era.

- her best, lyrically, poetically, meaningful

reminiscent of the deeply poetic, personal, incredible story we saw with red. this genre shift has strengthened her lyricism, and bought it to light. this is the most “taylor swift” taylor swift album to date. a genre that feels built for her.

- Ooooooh

- Beautiful and unexpected

Love everything about this. Mature yet whimsical, intense lyrics and soft melodies. She has amazed me again, in a completely different way to usual.

- aoty

Amazing album. definitely aoty 2020

- Incredible, everything I wished for in an album- made even better by coming from Taylor

A no-skip album, that even non-Taylor fans can enjoy and love. A beautiful piece of art. My new favourite album.

- i love it

it’s my favourite taylor album:)

Ahhhhhh yessss so amazing she does it again

- Great

I love that Taylor is going back to their country roots and the lyrics are amazing did wish that there was a bit of pop songs in the album but once a swiftie always a swiftie

- My best 2020 lockdown purchase

So excited to buy this collection that accidentally purchased the Explicit version. Recommend purchasing one without ‘E’ if you have little ears listening too. But still fantastic wort TS!!

- Folklore is THE album for 2020

Taylor’s most personal and honest album

- Not horrible

If you like more laid-back, acoustic, singer-songwriter type music this is perfect for you. This isn’t for the reputation and 1989 stand, sadly. Thankfully the rest of us can ignore this era until she serves some decent music again

- 😍

It’s amazing her ability to write and produce music. So different from her last few albums. I love it and it is defiantly a mood.

- An Incredible Feat

A brave and brilliant venture into a new genre. Pure brilliance + love the 3 song love triangle perspectives

- A Masterpiece!

Taylor has only gone and produced another GREAT album! Taylor has yet again proved why she is this generations greatest song writer. I love you T-Swift! ❤️

- Thanks Hun, August is so good.

Hun. What a album hun. Very good Hun, thanks Hun, made my day Hun.

- Thank you Taylor!

Amazing! The complete album, every song is better than the last. I love how I could listen to this album for any occasion. The melodies are consistent throughout the songs which I think is fantastic. Her best album ever. Thank you Taylor for wringing this treasure.

- 🤷🏼‍♀️

All the songs are all slow where’s the fast cheerful ones?

- Robbery - Money Grab ..!!

This album was £8.99 on 30/07 - no change in content and it has gone up in price to £10.99 the next day 31/07 !! Apple says they don’t set the pricing so Taylor Swift or her management are making a money grab as the album has become popular ... Nice way to treat your fans and parents of your fans very very underhanded - I am happy to pay an artist for their work but to do this with no change in content is just pure exploitation..!!

- No!

Bland! As usual!👎

- folkbore?

there is no denying taylor swift is a great storyteller. she has always been so descriptive, emotive and open. however, a lot of this album would fare better in a novella, or a book of poems. as SONGS, they aren’t the most enjoyable to listen to. the production isn’t encapsulating or engaging enough to warrant replay value, and the lyrics are quite a chore to listen to, let alone learn, particularly in the time period we are currently in. i appreciate the stories, but as music - this isnt the easiest album to listen to.

- Amazing

Do your thing girl I love this 💜💙🤍

- One word..WOW

Fantastic album! Taylor’s absolute best album yet

- Wow

Literally wow.

- Her magnum opus

- wow.

This album is EVERYTHING. It really feels like October in July while listening to this masterpiece of an album we call Folklore. Taylor Swift did it again... but when hasn't she? This is amazing.

- Absolutely soul capturing and a lyrical wonder

To everyone saying it is boring, you have obviously just listened for a beat or a ‘bop’, if you sit with your headphones in and listen to the music you will find how captivating it is and the story you get drawn into with her lyrics. To everyone saying it sounds the same, you are probably used to pop melodies and now that you’re hearing an album mostly made of piano or guitar you just take that as it sounding the same when really the melody is created through those instruments and her voice makes these songs more interesting than ever. And although the production can be minimal, it adds to her voice, making you focus on the story and the way she sings it, fully bringing you into the emotions. This album is a timeless masterpiece with capturing lyricism, dreamy and interesting production, and a whole cohesiveness which brings you into a world of storytelling and characters. Swift has created characters throughout this album or used people from real life (such as her previous Rhode Island home owner) to create compelling stories and used multiple perspectives shown through different songs to help you piece together what each character is feeling. I cannot praise this album enough. 10/10

- Best album of the decade

Let me open this up by saying I’m an admirer of Taylor - I’m not a super fan, I like quite a few of her songs....I don’t even own any of her albums, or have her music in my collection. Coldplay and Mumford & Sons are my thing.....but let me say this...... Folklore is the best album of the past 10 years...if not more. There is a lovely wispy, breezy, summery vibe to this. Even if you don’t like Taylor Swift, push your reservations to one side, take an hour and listen. Anyone can enjoy the calm of this album.

- Amazing

An album packed with stories. Every song is perfect.

- Wow

Never been a fan but this is the best she has ever sounded but definitely not indie lol

- Masterpiece

This is by far Taylor Swift’s best album yet every song is different every song tells a story and every song is amazing

- Awful songs and poor melodies

I agree with lots of people here! Very poor songs and melodies. All sounds the same. I’ve tried to listen to a few and switched it off. One of the worst albums she has ever made. Very disappointing

- Kanye made you

You attempted to release this on Kanyes release dedicated to his mom. Disrespectful, also all your albums have flopped since 1989. Stop singing about your relationships. Thanks mate

- Nothing Catchy

I have every album, love them all...but this is just very slow, chilled, just nothing special or catchy. If you want background music then it’s fine.

- Amazing - Best album of 2020

Her best work. Beautiful album, start to finish.

WOW!!!!!! This is a must album!!!! Its so so good!!!!!! I love every song! My favourite is August though! :) Highly recommend! Super chilled too!

- :)

:) this album :o

- a piece of lyrical and musical genius 🖤🌿

an absolutely stunning album, taylor once again blowing us all away with her extraordinary songwriting talent and gorgeous vocals. she better sweep the 2021 grammy awards 🖤🌿🖤🌿

- She’s Back

An honest, raw exploration of emotion, love, loss, hope, and despair. Taylor is at her absolute best here.

- Brilliant storytelling

Some of these songs are the best written songs I ever heard

- Oh dear

I love Taylor but this isnot a good album. The songs sound very samey and the production on all is very similar. Lyrics are ok . Such a shame

- folklore

loving this new side to taylor. album of the year by far, 2020 has been a great year for music but folklore has been the most creative and amazing album to be released. massively recommend this album to everyone, every track a standout.

- Enchanting soul soothing

Goose pimples loving folksy soul soothing enchanting Exhile is my fave song.

- a bit dull and repetitive.

i was used to amazing melodies by Taylor Swift in the past.. this is a bit boring and forgettable not sure i would want to listen to tthis again

- A masterpiece

Never been a massive fan of Taylor (purchased only few songs before) but this album is everything 🎧😍

- Boring Taylor

Boring songs that just sound the same as her other music

- The best of the best

Love every song in this album. Tay has done it again and again ❤️💚💙🧡

- I don’t understand

I honestly don’t understand the hype for it. Because it was a surprise or what? Songs are boring and nothing new

- Beautiful

A carefully crafted album. The songs are all individually linked to each other, making the album into a wonderful story book. I am in love with it :)

- Crafted to Perfection

A wonderfully glittering Dreamscape from start to finish.

- Queen

- album of the year

mirrorball, seven and august are the holy trinity

- 10/10 i’m in love

incredible 😱😍🥺

- Amazing piece of art

Incredible lyrics and storytelling

- absolutely beautiful

her best album to date. so raw. so emotional. ethereal.

- Masterpiece

Legendary piece of work, arguably her fines to date - just stunning.

- masterpiece

Misogynistic people think women can’t write good break up songs when they’re happy is proved wrong. 3 year + solid relationship and she comes out with bangers like exile. MY QUEEN

- aoty

this album is coming for the 21 grammys✨✨

This album is her best yet !!! The lyrics and the melancholy sound is are just heart touching everyone needs to hear this album I sat though it from the first song to the last and couldn’t pick a favourite as each song is my favourite for its own special reason

- She has done it again

The greatest songwriter of all time has done it again! Such gorgeous lyrics and melodies. 10/10

- Amazing and new to the whole industry

A god
