Mariah always gives us what we want.🌈 Superb vocals, fantastic writing, and 30 years of amazing music. 🎼She is the VOICE🎤 Out here on my own is an incredible rendition that Mariah never released. It is from the original Fame soundtrack and originally sung by Irene Cara. It was probably meant to make either the Music Box or Daydream LP at the time of their releases. Instead Mariah beautifully renditioned Without You, which was originally done by Harry Nilsson and Open Arms which was originally done by Journey respectively. 💎The rarities are all treat from the past and sound as fresh as today with Mariah’s vocals that are unsurpassed as usual. 🎤The live album is an incredible addition to the album. Who ever sang like this LIVE? Mariah did💕

this album was not it periodt. although there were tracks that were decent. majority of the songs were simple and not any different than the other songs from other albums.

As I listen to these songs, I am truly impressed by Mariah Carey's enduring artistry throughout her career. I mean, her b-sides and discarded album cuts are better than most of the music out today! This album is a true tour-de-force and the timing of it — released just days after her critically-acclaimed memoir — couldn't be better. As always, Mimi killed it!!!

Only Mariah Carey would have a flawless set of previously unreleased tracks! This album takes you from 1990-2020. It’s awesome to see how music has changed through the years, seeing how Mariah has always been able to keep up with the times yet stay true to her artistry. One gem is the original ‘Lover boy’! The version that would have been released if j.lo hadn’t stolen the beat and used it first. MC had to re-record a whole new version! Personal favorites ‘slipping away’ ‘close my eyes’2020 version ‘everything fades away’ ‘out here on my own’ ENJOY LAMBS!

This is album is a true masterpiece, I’ll admit, it sounds clunky when being put together. But you got to understand that these were pieces for different albums from different time periods. They fit more towards their respective albums, but this is truly amazing. Favorite tracks are: 1. Here We Go Around Again 2. Do You Think of Me 3. All I Live For 4. Slipping Away 5. giving it negative reviews after only one or two songs? Sure, Save the day wasn’t exactly the best but there’s literally 283738 other songs in this very album. And for those who are saying Mariah is only “regurgitating” old songs (whatever that means), yall do realize that half of these are never known before songs that the public would’ve gone CRAZY over back in the day. You guys hate just because of a media bandwagon hate that has been overplayed and honestly, is irrelevant now. Mariah has proven (yet again) that she is still THAT artist, but yall wont give her a break. This album has such wonderful songs that reasonated extremely well with me. I praise it for its rawness and success!

The effort she puts into her songs is amazing

What a victorious collection of songs that take us through the different eras of not only Mariah’s music but R&B and Pop music. Mariah is having the week of a lifetime and she deserves all the flowers. While her voice has been heralded, her skills in songwriting and composition are equally as impressive. She is involved in the music making process from start to finish and that’s been evident since the beginning of her career. Even when partnering with different producers and musicians, the common thread running through all her songs is that unique Mariah style. That’s evident when one takes the time to listen to her whole discography. For those unwilling to commit that time, this compilation travels through time and mostly achieves a linear timeline of beautiful music where that distinct Mariah sound shines through no matter the era. Kudos Mariah!

I get more from the old Mariah and more from the new Mariah. So happy right now. This album is everything right now.

One of her best albums, ‘Save The Day’ and ‘Out Here On My Own” are some of my favorites but boy listen to ‘Slipping Away’, ‘Cool on You’, ‘I Pray’, ‘Here We Go Around Again’ and the timeless ORIGINAL loverboy which I can’t stop playing. My favorite artist ever! Cop the album!

This is just what the lambs needed! We’ve heard a few of the “unreleased” songs (I could’ve sworn “Everything Faded Away” and “Slipping Away,” for example, were released officially. 😅 The Rarities, plus the release of her memoir, were enough to solidify my commitment to being a Lamb4Life!
