- Nice

I don't follow this band, but I do like that there's a real melody in each song and it's catchy. Hard to pull off with most bands. Would be nice to get a heavier version of this album.

- It’s as if Viva la Vida was an album

That’s the only way I can describe it

- Follow suit?

Will this be delayed 2 years as well like their album that still hasn’t been released yet?

- Interesting but.....

Not a bad tune and a little different but what the heck happened to the Van Weezer album being promised for the past 8 months???? Will we get both, as I liked the guitar rock sound of those tunes much better.

- Solid Album

Exactly what I want to be hearing from the band at this point in their career.

- What happened to Van Weezer

First they delay an album by a year, after releasing three singles for it, ...now they’re releasing a different full album six months before an album of songs that’s already had its singles released from it a year ago gets released. That makes sense. 🤷‍♂️🙄🤦‍♂️

- It’s official not a Weezer fan anymore

Come on Rivers????? You were one of my favorite bands. Year after year the disappointing feeling grows. Well I’m letting you go and chalking it up as one of the greatest losses of my musical life. 😢😢😢😢😢😢

- Timeless

Some of the best lyric writing ever put to paper. The 38 piece orchestra sets a tone that just feels right. I have always loved their acoustic sets especially when playing a song like "Living in L.A." on the NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert that had such an electronic sound on the Black Album. The way the songs connect and tell a complete instrumental story while keeping their individualism lyrically makes this an album that will stand the rest of time.

- i love this band😽😽

i love weezer but still waiting for van weezer yk yk🙄🙄 grapes of wrath slaps✨✨

- Weezer!!

The album I needed in my life! 😍🙌

- Different in a good way

Love “playing my piano”

- Unexpectedly wonderful

Drop the fuzzy guitars and the focus on great songwriting becomes essential. Well done! This is the first Weezer album that has caught my attention in years! The songs are sooo catchy I don’t even miss the big guitars!

- This is so excellent. Geez.

Rivers needs to hire someone whose sole job it is to remind him three times a day that his best work happens when he’s unhappy and shares raw emotions/music.

- OK, NEXT.

I have to be totally honest. I wasn't holding my breathe for this one. Reading it was done with an orchestra made me try this band out once again. I have to say, it is a bombastic, treble riddin, mess of songs. Something needed to balance out the whiny vocals of nothingness, and in the head singing this band is known for. But, sadly, the orchestrations only made my ears ring and my face foul. OK, NEXT.

- This is great

Simply another great album from Weezer

- Terrific!

This album is terrific! I don't mind the experiments. Though, it is plainly obvious Weezer is best when the band plays organically. Never let Pat leave the drum kit, ever again. As a fan since the begining, I really enjoyed this album.

- Refreshing!

This album is great, the more you listen to it, the more hooked you’ll become. Trust me. PS for all those who keep asking about Van Weezer. There’s something called THE INTERNET and SOCIAL MEDIA. They’ve already said numerous times, it’s still coming out in May, so r-e-l-a-x

- A different sound and I like it.

I quite enjoy this album and think it’s an awesome and unique sound. The orchestra is great touch and I certainly think it’s an album perfect for quarantine. Van Weezer comes out in May so this was a beautiful treat. Here Comes the Rain is a fantastic song, might be my favorite on the album. Excellent job Weezer!!

lalalala-blah blah blah blah-lalalala lalalala-blah blah blah blah-lalalala lalalala-blah blah blah blah-lalalala lalalala-blah blah blah blah-lalalala lalalala-blah blah blah blah-lalalala lalalala-blah blah blah blah-lalalala

- Quirky

Weezer takes left turns. Even though they seem to stray too far off the path and someone needs to go find them sometimes, they always manage to put more of a smile on my face than a grimace. No matter what comes out of them, you can count on it to be some pretty funny self-pitying which makes for classic Weezer.

- Well

This album is wonderful. Very surprised

- I-

Watch all the wannabe emo teens go crazy for this😂

- AMAZING

the lyrics are just dope. most weezer album since the white album. 10/10

- Woah

Wasn’t expecting that

- Great Change!

This is actually way better than I expected. Weezer has done changes before that are okay but this is good.

- Best since Pinkerton.

Probably the best and most honest record Rivers and Weezer have written since Pinkerton. The orchestra makes it feel unique but it doesn’t lose that magic that makes it Weezer. The drum sound is amazing and there’s a strong 70s vibe throughout the album. It’s short but sweet, doesn’t get overly bombastic as it explores the mostly mundane day in the life of Rivers at home with his family or walking through his neighborhood. It’s beautiful.

- ok weezer

ur irrelevant

- Another great Weezer album!

Grapes of Wrath and Numbers are highlights of this wonderful collection.

- Weezerrrrr

Long live Weezer!

- Pop

Oop oop oop oop

- What happend to van weezer?

I like it

- What

Ok how do they have vanweezer on pre order for the past year and it’s not out till may then all of a sudden this and out in January that’s strange

- Absolutely Brilliant

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Rivers Cuomo has a stellar ear for music, of all kinds, the dude is beyond talented. What an inventive, catchy, and self-aware album, plus it's donning a rad title and cover. Great stuff. On my third listen already.

- Hype

Love the new sound and pumped to have the rest of it in only a few days.

- Perfect

I honestly never thought I could get into a new Weezer album again. But this is amazing, start to finish.

- A masterpiece of isolation and anxiety

Most bands that have been around for over 20 years have run out of steam and are just trying to repeat the magic of their early hits. This new release from Weezer illustrates the sheer inventiveness and creativity of the band. Rivers is 50 now, but his geek poetry, combined with catchy melodies has reached new heights of perfection. True artists want to create new art, not churn out the same old thing, which Weezer has been guilty of in the past. Personally, I think this is a masterpiece, an insightful expression of the past year where we have all been questioning our relevance.

- Beautiful.

Reminds me a lot of notes Weezer has hit before, sparingly, such as on "Butterfly" from Pinkerton....but over and over for a whole album. I absolutely love the orchestra contributions. Just wow! If you're gonna experiment with sound, this is the way to do it! You know, this reminds me a heck of a lot of the Beatles and the way they would mix rock with orchestral sounds. Fantastic ambiance too. I can't wait for my vinyl to arrive and blast this throughout the house sipping a nice scotch.

- Impressed!

Who else but Weezer to still be able to pump out high quality albums and completely surprise us with the style this late in their career? One of their most cohesive and consistent albums.

- Ye

Yuh

- oooooh I LOVE this!

I never liked early grungy distorted guitar Weezer...I like the later years where songwriting and beautiful melodys is key, such as pacific day dream and the black album...fav songs like QB blitz/sweet mary/high as a kite and so I think I am going to really really like this one.

- Amazing!!

Absolutely love this! Great sound!! Great Weezer!! =w=

- Masterpiece

The album is amazing. Piano, strings, organs

- Really like it

This is the first song in a very long time that I actually really enjoyed by Weezer. To me it sounds like it could have been released on Pinkerton!
