Been waiting a long time for a new album!

One of, if not, the greatest heavy band on the planet returns in full on April 30th. If “Born for One Thing” and “Another World” are any inclination, we are in store for another amazingly wild ride of heaviness, pinch-harmonics, splendid song writing and arrangements that only they can do. Vive GOJIRA!!!

Just heard Born for One Thing for the first time and got the chills! Another World is great too. The rest of the album should be epic.

The new record is good don’t get me wrong. But I swear the riff in Born For One Thing is literally Seasons in The Abyss by Slayer.

So far we’ve only gotten 2 songs off this album and they are incredible! I love the deep lyrical meanings of these songs. The riffs punish, the drums are powerful, bass is the perfect compliment. Nothing over done here, just some powerful chords and tight musicians and really well thought out techniques. I’ve been a fan since from Mars to syrus dropped. What keeps me coming back is more than the sound. You can feel that they love their craft and do it for the passion that drives them. It doesn’t feel forced or like it was aimed at record sales. It truly sounds like a passion project and I can appreciate that! I’ve heard some smack talk on “another world” sounding uninspired. I cannot disagree more. That song alone not only sounds inspiring but clearly has a very inspired message. Can’t wait till Gojira comes back to the states with this album!

Looking forward to this one! The first two singles are great. Gojira never disappoints.

When Another World dropped, I thought it was okay and listenable. As I keep on listening to it, I like it more. But when Born for One Thing dropped, it blew me away! I think this is going to be a better album than Magma. I can’t wait!!!! 🤘🏻
