I used to adore Ari, but honestly can’t say that I stan her anymore. Thank U Next was iconic, but after that her music just tanked hard. Like honestly, listening to the positions album makes me a little sick. I do like these deluxe tracks and a few others on the og album, but otherwise the record is a flop🤷🏼‍♀️

Most of the songs sound the same as others on the deluxe and they’re only 2 minutes long. Too short and too generic. Put out an unreleased compilation or something with songs like Remember, In The Moment, My Way, etc.

I didn’t really like the original positions album but I like the added songs although they were only 2 minutes. I like her combination of Rnb and pop. But I feel like that this album would have been amazing is she had just done these 11 tracks. - shut up - 34+35 - motive - six thirty - positions - obvious - pov - someone like u (interlude) - test drive - worst behavior - main thing I feel like these are the strongest tracks and I feel like she should have just edited the original album and added some of the new songs.

Album has been on repeat for months and the deluxe made the album even better. People don’t like it because it dove more into slow trap-r&b instead of the vocal powerhouse pop anthems of Dangerous Woman that made her so famous in the first place. I appreciate her changing up her sound because as she grows, her sound is going to change every few years. P.S. - She’s a grown and engaged woman, she can sing about sex all she wants. P.P.S. - if you think the songs are too short, listen twice :)
