I'm a long time fan of Demi Lovato and this is her best work, by far. The entire album tells a story of vulnerability, strength, and honesty in a more lighthearted and airy way which you wouldn't expect with such a heavy topics discussed in the lyrics. Amazing album and Demi is a fantastic artist.

I have always liked Demi’s voice when I first heard her but the thought of listening to another Disney star. Couldn’t do it. Cool for the Summer had me listening to her more but it wasn’t until she did a duet with Sam Smith that got me more into her. Then she had that horrible life changing experience where I could somewhat relate. I regret not listening to her sooner. Confident is a great album but Tell me you Love me is when she knocked it out of the ballpark, great album. Dancing with the Devil is a personal and heart felt album. I love love every song on this album. Pop, folk, soul whatever you want to call it this record can be one of the best of the year so far. Not only does she write her songs in collaboration but she is a powerhouse singer. I’m a 50 year old male with musical background and a singer, Demi Lovato is one of the reasons why I love music. Musicians like her.

I’m not just writing this five star review because I’m a fan. She has released some bops and some flops but honestly, this entire album is beautiful, perfectly made, and tells her story. She stated that this album is kind of like the “soundtrack” to her documentary, Dancing With The Devil, and I can see why now. Knowing her story, along with seeing her interview with Ellen in early 2020, everything falls together. An amazing album and the sound is amazing.

I tried so hard to like this album because I love Demi and what she stands for. My favorite album of hers was Tell Me You Love Me, and is one of my favorite albums of all time. Demi’s has the most beautiful, perfect voices I’ve ever heard and I felt like it wasn't showcased well throughout this album. It was a lot of “talk” singing for me. I’m hoping for her next album to be more R&B ish.

I loved the album, and I am a fan of Demi but I don’t like what she did when she supported Scooter Braun and did the finsta. That is why i did 4 stars instead of 5.

So, full disclaimer: I have never bought a Demi record. Do not know much about her, however, when this album dropped and having watched her incredibly powerful and emotional youtube original docu series: Dancing with The Devil I had to buy it and it is quite simply the best album I have purchased in years. Not only is it incredibly catchy but its insanely meaningful, genuine, raw and moving. I think this should win multiple awards and be recognised as Demi’s major transition in her musical career. Of course what really matters is that Demi stays healthy and happy in her life. This is a must have album. Worth every penny.
