I dont give many 5 stars but this is a very good CD. Probobly my favorite solo Wu-Tang album (Liquid swordz-Gza and Only Built For Cuban Linx-Raekwon right behind.) A must have for Wu-Tang collection. Check out Black Jesus and Winter Warz.

This album is one of the best out of the Wu catalog. Must have ... clean or not. Word up.

For me, this and Raekwon's cuban linx album are the best solo work by any wu members. A lot people put liquid swords above this album but I'm not feeling that, Ghostface has the tightest flow of any wu tang member (also why cuban linx is so sick) and the beats on these two albums are classic.

itunes are you serious... how many 5th graders are going to buy a 12-year-old wu-tang solo album... this is adult music, get read of the ridiculous "clean lyrics" version and sell the real version, maybe then you will actually move some units... idiots

Download this CD (don't worry it's not the clean version). A must have for all wu-tang fans. And f u to the person who gave it one star because he was looking for the clean version and this is as dirty as it gets. 5 out of 5.

up there with liquid swords and only built 4 cuban linx for the title of best Wu solo album, and definitely wayy up there in the general hiphop album ranks. simply an awesome album in every way. winter warz, fish, iron maiden, and poisonous darts are all stand-out tracks for me. great driving music! deserves 5 stars up here.

I agree, why would you want a clean version of this album? Secondly why did you give it a one star review? complain to itunes but dont bring down a great albums rating. On to the album! Pick this up now. You really cant miss with anything any of the Clan release. This is that grimey East Coast ish..respect it!

in case you forgot, all of the initial solo wu albums included alot of wu appearances. this was done to keep wu-tang relevant. 2 of the three songs you named were weaker joints. "wildflower" is ill, "assassination day" was crazy. Fish and Winter Warz are wu anthems. tracks 1-9 are sick. stop picking songs that went to video and really listen to this album. you can't expect anyone to drop a 5 star album everytime out. no solo artist has ever done that. stay focused.

IronMan is The Ultimate Classic album. I love GFK.

This album is ill. The rhyming flawless. RZA production. Plenty of Wu members with Ghostface. One of the best albums ever.

Please, stop bringing an album's rating down just because it's the edited version. You're supposed to be reviewing the ALBUM, not just one specific version. This album is sick. I loved the solo albums that came out between 36 Chambers & Forever. They were essentialy Wu albums, to remind you that although the artist has gone solo, the most skilled hip hop crew is still as tightly wound as ever. Although this disc is fire, Supreme Clientele is still my preference for Ghost. The Chef & Cappadonna are excellent companions of Mr. Tony Starks on this album. You have to hear Iron Maiden, Wildflower, Assassination Day (Ghost isn't even on this track, but INS & RZA contribute some superb verses, and the beat is amazing), Poisonous Darts, Winter Warz (Cappadonna flows at the end of this song for about a day & a half), Box In Hand (the violin at the beginning has a very somber feeling), Camay, Motherless Child (tight beat), After The Smoke Is Clear, The Soul Controller (by the way, why isn't this track on itunes? It's one of the few on the album with just Ghost by himself) This disc is a great addition to your Wu-Tang collection.

Most of Ghostface's lyrics are explicit. Having a clean version would be like having an instrumental version

I love this album. I used to rock this in my walkman, along with Raekwons's purple tape. This is a perfect album. So what there are guest appearances. I think there are just two songs I don't listen to. Luv u Ghost.
