I’m very excited to see his twist on this genre. I’m also happy he’s got a lot more Black Country artists featured on this EP. It lets one know there’s more soul to the genre than what’s shown.

After 20 years one would think Nelly would just sit back and enjoy the royalties of his labor. In stead, Nelly decides to explore another side of his talent well. What did he find? He found he’s not done dropping hits and connecting to his fans while making new fans. This album is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Kudos to you, Nelly, for keeping things rolling!!!!

I really don’t understand why this has so much negative reviews. This album is HOT! I love how Nelly combines both country music and hip hop/rap music into a brand new country music sound that I really enjoy a lot. I’m one of those people who don’t care for country music at all because there’s nothing relatable or universal about country music to me. But this album right here is making me enjoy country music already! 😃😄😊 My most favorite songs in this entire album are “Lil Bit”, “High Horse”, “Someone Somewhere”, “5 Drinks Ago”, and “Good Times Roll”. Keep up the good, Nelly! Screw what all the haters say! I never thought I’d say this, but I can’t wait to hear more country songs from you after this and I’m really looking forward to it 👏🙌

I grew up on country music and I’m 100% country all the way BUT I’m also from St.Louis and love Nelly as well. No matter what he does, I will always support him bc I think he’s great at everything he does and I of course will also always support country music. This is a crossover album, we all know that so let’s just enjoy it for what it is. I think it’s awesome that 2 genres can come together and make music!

Listen guys, Nelly has said this album is country-influenced. And it features some country artists. But he's said in interviews he has to much respect/love for country than to straight up call his album country. It's Nelly with a little bit of a country slant. And no, it's not a classic all-time great album like Country Grammar.. but there's a few decent tunes here.

I like it. It is a different change of pace for Nelly. I like the change. This shows that he can change the genre and still sound good. Some might not like this move but for me in my own opinion. I like it.

Nelly always been country

Been a Nelly fan since the beginning. The man still got them bangers. It’s definitely a different sound, but very refreshing. Not many artists can crossover the way he does and his talent his impossible to miss on this record. Definitely a fun, summer/fall type album that will stand the test of time. Thank you Nelly for another classic. The only reason it gets 4/5 stars from me is because it’s a short album and the songs are about 2 1/2 to 3 mins average

I’ve got a wide range of what I like for music, you never know what is going to pop up when my playlist is on shuffle, seriously. I love Nelly circa early 2000’s and I’m liking the songs on this album as well. However…. Would I go so far as to label it as a country album? Um…. Not no but at the same time I don’t think it fits into hip-hop completely either. I think it is very fluid, to label it as a pop album would probably be more accurate. Either way Nelly has an amazing voice and I’m liking this sound!

We watched Nelly perform these live at the Western Idaho Fair and people had a blast!

Like hip hop, country music has changed over the years and has evolved. Country music has evolved from conway twitty and hank Williams to reba McEntire to clay walker to Luke bryan. Someone saying it’s not country- that’s their opinion and not the truth. I grew up listening to country music since the 90s and you can’t tell me Tyler from Florida Georgia Line ain’t country, he may not be your kinda country, but from where I’m from, he’s country, and he’s on this cd and wrote songs with nelly for this cd. I felt Nelly has had country in his blood since he came out with his songs country grammar and ei. It may not be your kinda country, but for some like me, it’s got an unexplainable country feel to it, and Sam Hunt helped write grits and glamour and he’s from GA- part of the south, and people know down home ga south people are as country as they come. I like it! I wasn’t feeling some of Nelly’s music in the past, I’ll be honest, but I like this one! 😉☺️❤️

Nelly is iconic and the first two songs off this album are great. The cross genre with country is working and sounds great. I appreciate artists that make music they want and break the mold.
