This album means so much to me. Released at a time in my life when I was closest to the end of my spiral. Now I’m not saying music can fix anyone’s situation. But this album helped me. I finally had a soundtrack that lined up with my depression and struggle at that particular time. I am so happy to see this released for the larger community. Rip Mac. Much love to everyone out there going through something.

one of my favorite projects by mac miller. his music really speaks to me in a way others does not. his songs are all so raw and have a lot of meaning and also tie into his other projects. so happy this is finally on streaming platforms!

So glad to finally have the faces album where we can buy it now. Definitely one of the best albums out there. So thankful for his family and friends releasing it to the public.

Definitely his best mixtape ever released. Kind of hard to believe sometimes this came out over 7 years ago! Was way ahead of its time. As for this re-release, it seems like it was given the Macadelic remaster treatment, which means most of the movie snippets in between the tracks have been cut out I’m sure due to copyrights, but it definitely makes some of the songs feel empty if you’re used to the previous versions. Polo Jeans just isn’t the same without those kids from Gummo screaming at the rabbit in the background. Much like Desperado isn’t the same without Willy Wonka and the Beatles at the end. However, this is my only complaint and it is very minor when we are talking about Mac’s magnum opus of a mixtape here.

Faces and Balloonerism by Mac Miller were and always will be hands down the two most beautifully made projects, this mixtape deserved to be number one back in 2014 when he dropped it for free with no label promotions on it, I’m hoping now that everyone can listen to it officially on streaming platforms that this mixtape will finally get the recognition it deserves RIP TO THE GOAT MAC MILLER 🧡🙏🏻
