For “Your Heart,” Joyner Lucas recruits hip-hop heavyweight, J. Cole, as they rap about hardships in a relationship and overcoming heartbreak. The surprise announcement of the song came in the form of an Instagram post revealing the song’s title and cover just hours before the release. The Joyner-directed visuals emulate elements of Eminem’s 1999 single “Guilty Conscious,” which featured Dr. Dre and Eminem portraying individuals' good and bad conscious, respectively. Here though, Joyner portrays the character and J. Cole portrays said character’s consciousness. On April 8, 2022, “Your Heart” was certified gold by the RIAA. “Your Heart” debuted at #22 on the Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Songs Chart during the week ending September 30th, 2021. “Your Heart” debuted at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart during the week ending October 9th, 2021.
