3 stars because there’s only about 3 good songs on this album. This is the first time since I first heard The Weeknd, that I will not be buying his album. :/

Great album

Just can’t get this album out of head !! Worth the listen in 2022. My favorites on it is "Best Friends & "Less than Zero." Wow. "Sacrifice" was great as well; I like commentary touch from Uncle Jim Carey and tale of Quincy, I don't know if his bit was true, but it was touching. Great Work

The Weeknd is in his own lane and world! I love the soundtrack and it truly shows how diverse he is as an artist without losing his originality. So looking forward to future projects! Big fan! 🔈🙏🏾

9/10 album for me. Love when artists can change their sound and experiment. It seems like everyone is too stuck on his past music.

Basically, if you look at the album cover it says it all🙄🙄

Some reviewers are writing that this is definitely a classic but, respectfully, it is in a bad way. Mr Tesfaye is digging too bad in the eighties' sounds and he is placed besides a scanner, as he is literally copying sounds and notes from 80s pop, especially techno-pop this time. Gasoline is a copy from The Human League and Heaven 17. His voice sounds exactly like Phil Oakey's in many fragments! And the same happens with "Don't Break My Heart", in which the tone and the sound is exactly as the early Depeche Mode sounded (even Dave Gahan's voice). Others, like Dawn FM and Less that Zero sounds like Ultravox and John Foxx. Maybe for younger generations this is so cool and a wonder to be listened, but people who really lived in the eighties only can consider it like a pale reflect of what was the amazing music of an era.

Anyone saying this album is anything less than a classic, really needs to get their head examined.

The Weeknd has been dropping some amazing music one right after the other and this one is just the latest in his best work to date. I can’t get enough of this album!!

Did y’all even listen to the album? let me guess y’all wanted the same old crap that’s being heard on the radio 24/7? 🤣. The 80s style is amazing!!! He killed ( 🔥 ) a style that hasn’t been popular in almost 40 years. To us younger generations it’s pretty amazing we get to experience that. A lot of y’all just sound like a bunch of haters 🤣🤣🤣

I love this artist, but not feeling it. Some of these songs feel like b-sides to his last album, which was amazing.

This album is not a classic like his others. Nothing to remember. Nothing to stick on repeat. Every track sounds about the same. I took two full listens thru the album and was done with it. Smh what happen?!?!?

I get that this is supposed to be a continuation and all, but it makes no sense. A lot of the songs on here are pretty bad but I would go with Take My Breath, Sacrifice, Best Friends, Is There Someone Else?, Don’t Break My Heart, and Less Than Zero. Those ones are listenable, skip the rest (it’s fairly cringy).

This album definitely feels like something spiritual or special in a sense and the vocals are amazing as usual with his projects I just felt like I wasn’t getting the message he was trying to convey it feels like there is supposed to be a theme and concept that I feel like just didn’t quite feel as impactful but the songs are still really good even if some of them sound very similar I still enjoyed it myself

Great album While I don’t feel this is the weekend at his peak, it’s still worth a few listens. Best friends, sacrifice, and Tyler’s verse on “here we go again” are in my opinion some of the best parts of the album however it would certainly still be great without these parts 4.5/5 (I can’t do half a star)

A copycat is never good. State it as it is and maybe, if you are good enough(he actually is) listeners will appreciate it more. Don’t get me wrong I like the 80’s and the likes of Depeche Mode are in my playlist. Truth is such a rarity, as if one will not notice the lies. This is 80’s music rebranded.
