as someone who really doesn’t like country music, luke combs has changed my mind on the genre. with this album, he does the same with blowing my mind with catchy tunes, songs with meaning, and showing that country isnt just one thing. luke is a musical genius and even though im still not a huge country person- i am a Luke Combs person :)

Luke Combs’s first couple of albums were great, he had that sound & those songs many of us were longing for. This album has a couple of good songs & the others in my opinion just aren’t good, they’re basic & sound boring & plain. I remember the first time I heard his first single Hurricane, that song packed a punch that had you playing it over & over. There’s nothing like that on this album, I only found Middle of Somewhere & Better Back When to be worth purchasing. Doin This is pretty good but I expected more from what I’d considered the best genuine country artist active the industry these days.

Call this guy the mailman… he always delivers. I would give it a 5 star if it had a few more songs that he’s posted on Instagram like: Joe Five leaf clover See me now When it’s raining. Other than that this album is really good.

Great sound!

Before listening: First impression is only 12 songs, versus 18 on his last album. Not a fan of the title track not being on this album, even if that means it will be on a deluxe or even a part 2. The cover art is refreshing because it’s the first time he’s had an actual picture of his face. He’s been moving closer to pop-country as of late, so this album determines if he’s completely lost or not. I’ve heard portions of a couple of these songs from the mini online concerts he did in 2020, but it will be my first time hearing it in studio form. Country artists tend to go overboard with love songs once they get married, so that’s another factor in interested to see. After listening: I tend to be a sucker for the past, so I appreciated the messages. The reason I got into his music was because his songs were relatable yet made me feels good, so few songs were too detailed for my taste. A couple basic ideas, but most of the choruses were on point. Production wasn’t overboard, but there were a few questionable calls on background music. Listened to each song with and without AirPods, and there is a difference for some songs. His “worst” album yet, but that doesn’t say much because the first two were goated. Also takes some time to warm up to a few songs every time. Added 11/12 songs for now. AGFN is the one I left out.

I’ve been a big fan of his from the start but had a bad feeling that the album wouldn’t be good but I have no complaints with it at all!!

i love this album. country music has a way of making you realize how real everything is. life isn’t just a game, you only have one life, so make the most out of it.

I went into this with the mindset I was going to love every song in this album , but that was not the case. I have loved every single song he put out in the past but, but this album was so difficult out of all the songs only 2 of his songs were up to his usual standard so to say I was very disappointed with this album and I regret buying it.

This man, this music…… hits different. Each track has Luke’s known style but adds a twist. From Going, Going, Gone to the duet with Miranda. There isn’t a song that doesn’t catch the tune and have you quickly singing along. Good Ol Boy who has true talent and hard work! Love it

Wouldn’t buy anything from him, he became woke instead of standing up for the roots of Country. Anyone true to Country wouldn’t have removed the Confederate Flag/Rebel Flag from his guitar because a “label said to” country folk know what it stands for and it isn’t racist. Don’t know how he can lay his head on a pillow and sleep at night, hope the money is worth kicking people in their faces.
