The Collection is titled 50 Number Ones….that’s a lie. This release is mostly remixed edits (shortened dance mix versions) or single versions OF the original hit songs. So none of the album tracks you wanted are actually in this collection.

I like most of her music, but I find it really annoying when artists make albums like this and claim to have 50 number ones. Sure, it might have gone number one on some minor chart no one pays attention to, but it didn’t go number one on the billboard hot 100–the only chart that really counts in my opinion. Respect for Mariah Carey who doesn’t make compilation albums where she claims to have number ones that didn’t actually hit number one on the billboard hot 100–which means you literally have the #1 song in America. Madonna isn’t the only artist to do this…Destiny’s Child, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, the Beatles, Reba McEntire, Alabama, Elvis have all released albums, or their estates have released albums, that compile number one hits from across a ton of different charts like dance, pop, adult contemporary, country, etc. Although I like all of these artists, I don’t like the advertising. It should only be considered number one if it went number one on the billboard hot 100 at least for the purpose of albums like this. Call it 50 Dance number ones or something—If that were the case here—if Madonna only counted her billboard hot 100 songs this album would be 12 songs but of course I’m still buying this. Having lived with this album for a few days, I am bumping this to 5 stars. It’s really good. More of her 80s music would have made it even better.

Madonna, in my opinion, has always had a very simple message: Music is Universal, just like love. To use the highs and lows of her hits, even when remixed, if you listen closely, it has beautiful poetic lyrics. Just dance once in a while, be it at home, a club, in the street….forget about your problems for a moment and keep in mind that LOVE starts with you and it’s contagious. Make the world a better place…Be a shining star shooting rays of light. Medellin and Don’t Cry for me Argentina stick out the best as remixes. Looooooooove the barely touched early hits, especially Like a Prayer with that extra Je ne sais quoa! Thank you Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone.

Not get my money for this. Followed you for years. This is just a way to get more money in your pocket. Spend your time making a good album. I’ve already heard all these remixes. Just YouTube them. Common people. Enough is Finally Enough is what it should have been called. Terrible!

These are Re-mixes, not Remasters. At least this playlist will let me know what all the number ones are and I'll get them seperately.

Album opens with the great hits. More up to date remixes would have been great. Too much newer material, all of which should have been B sides at best. Plenty great songs noticeably missing to make room for the later non-hit releases. 50 #1 Dance Play Songs seems like a great achievement & give her kiddos. However, the Dance Club Play Chart is mostly subjective & not like it used to be. Club DJs are great to be dedicated to artists who have been around and are very loyal to them. This is mainly the case with the lower 25 songs on the album. None are number one dance song material. This happens with other artists as well, not singling Madonna out. In my DJing days, we had the highest hope for new releases by the legends but if they didn’t measure up, they were usually mediocre hits. Once in a while a legend would happily surprise us with great dance comeback singles. Hopefully there is a 2nd release coming with remixes of the missing hits. Papa Don’t Preach, La Isla Bonita to name a couple. It’s too late to fix this release but it should sell well as she has millions of us adoring fans. Anxiously awaiting a supplemental album. 3 Stars.

How typical of gaga fans to come here and give Madonna one star and criticize her for age and her relevance. Take note, Gago will be there soon enough. Madonna was THE hottest act around for decades whereas Gaga has only been around for a minute. She’s taking lessons from a Madonna trust me. Madonna has 50 number ones, how many does gaga have? Please, get real. This is a fantastic package. Gaga should be so lucky to have as many hits as Madonna and to be around for as long as she has. Don’t make me go to Gaga’s iTunes and start throwing some one stars over there.

I pre-ordered the CD version and just have to say this album compilation is great, although I do wish as it's a dance album, they should have chosen the longer versions of the songs, at least 5 mins and up. There are some really good remixes that I've never heard before and some older ones I bought when they came out in the 2000s and 2010s. Very much worth it! Long live THE QUEEN!

Great collection! The first 10 songs or so are essentially radio releases of her oldest hits, but once you get to Keep It Together, the rest are either beloved or never-heard-before remixes. It was a fun way to relive the whole catalog. Better than a greatest hits. And, it's the #1 pop album on iTunes. Not bad for a 40 year career.

People stop complaining ,these songs actually did chart on billboard's dance chart at n1.Just google.Btw its not a regular greatest hits but a 50 n1 billboard dance chart remix album!Madonna isnt trying to stay relevant !

So with only one track available at this time to review “INTO THE GROOVE” has always been one of my favourite Madonna tracks and the original remix album “YOU CAN DANCE” in 1987 also contained this track. I have to say the version on the NEW Album “FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE 50” doesn’t sound difference - okay there’s a few obvious tweaks but it’s really the same to the ear! Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to see what she does on this new album BUT it seems to me it’s really hard to remix already perfected classic songs - with the exception of “FROZEN” and this is hard to reinvent for all 50 tracks! It’s a great retrospective dive into the QUEEN OF POP’S musical catalog since the 1980s for any enthusiast - but for hardcore loyal fans this might feel a bit empty! Fingers-crossed it’s going to be a real “CELEBRATION” for all fans and not just for the Material Girl’s Bank Balance! 💰♥️💃🏼

You can always tell when an artist has past it when they release yet another “remix”, ie greatest hits album. How many now? So they’re remixes and so it’s got some of the crap off the last few albums but let’s face it, since Confessions it’s all been a non event. She used to be so good but now is a caricature of her former self

Have always been a Madonna fan but this recent random release comes at such a strange time in her expired career. The 2022 airbrushed Instagram Madonna we see today awkwardly dancing like a drugged escapee from an OAP home during the recent Medellin performance with Maluma is a far cry from the empress of pop we saw during her Confessions on a Dancefloor hey days. It’s a fact that she has lost all sense of who she is and who she once was: a music industry juggernaut. Today she is unrecognisable in every sense. To randomly release this overpriced collection of old remixed and regurgitated tracks seems odd for someone who hasn’t released any material of interest in 17 years. How the mighty have fallen - it saddens me to say.

Madonna hasn’t had a greatest hits out since 2009, to have a comprehensive remix collection from the Queen of pop covering her entire career is well overdue and an excellent edition for hardcore and casual fans

Just to clarify this is not a greatest hits. It’s a remix album. It contains her US Billboard Dance #1’s so some classics are missing. Get over it lol. Brilliant collection and I can’t wait to dance to it.

I love Madonna and I’ve always been honest with reviews on her, even to the point of re listening to some her albums and re-reviewed. I can only give this a 4 because I’ve always thought an album of just her remixes would be amazing, but I’d never put an album of just old songs remixed and not at least add 1 (at the least) new track, like with Celebration. I think we all celebrate these mixes being on one album, but something new added would have been perfect.

This is another milestone reached 50 number 1 singles on the billboard dance chart not to mention 13 uk number ones here alone and countless number ones around the world. Of course after 40 years her popularity is not going to be as it was a lot of the youngsters today don’t even know who she is . But for us that grew up with her every step of the way she’s for me anyway defined music in the 80’s 90’s 00’’s 2010’s and up till now. Thankyou Madonna for proving all your haters and backstabbers wrong, congratulations for getting this far and may it continue a true legend ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Into the Groove is a fantastic song, but why not remix it for the current times. The whole compilation is a collection of remixes and edits that the fan base already owns multiple times over. No unreleased mixes. No brand new tracks! What’s the point? Artwork also, it’s pretty cheap. Why not use a real design team? Rather than just using the same old people. A collection like this could have been amazing, but this half-arsed effort…. Well…. It’s pretty much what we expected from the 2020s Madonna I guess. I think I’ll save my cash for the album remasters… at least then there’s the possibility of getting something new.

First off this doesn’t have The Power Of Goodbye on it and second you might as well buy the 2 disc Celebrations album and rip it to your computer saving you £24.99.

Timeless hit after timeless hit, she’s done it again. The critics will ask, “Another remix album? Isn’t she getting on?”. They will nitpick because of dire and passionate jealousy, and Madonna will continue to prove them wrong, as she has done for the last 40 years.
