For a while linkin park has been one of my favorite bands, but Jay-Z ruined Faint, papercut, and one of thier best songs Numb. As long as JAY-Z is in linkin park im never going to buy it.

To everyone who ever said that this callaberation would wreck Linkin Park, please go jump off a bridge. Ok, I admit, I had my doughts at the beginning, but when I bought it, all that went away. The way that each song matches so well is amazing! It was also this album that made me a Jay-z fan as well! Please, give this album a chance, and hopefully, you'll like it.

Jay-z is ok and linkin park rocks but if i wanted to listed to jay-z, i would listen to jay-z and if i wanted to listen to linkin park, i would listen to linkin ark but i just want to listen to them sepretly, not together because numb is better without jay-z come in and start screamin encore do you want more" so i would lisen to them sepretly. (actually i wouldnt listen to jay-z at all i would listen to linkin park cause i have hybrid theory and meteora.)

I have to say they accomplished a really cool sound but I just have trouble listening without Jay-Z's lyrics popping out to hard at me. This album released year before Fort Minor's 'The Rising Tied'. Mike's voice seemed a bit of a secret to me. In Numb/Encore the main thing I remember him saying is 'Get 'em Jay'. I really enjoyed listening to how Chester's voice would evolve to different levels. Collison Course was the best title. You would never picture Linkin Park working with someone like Jay-Z because of the explicit lyrics and that big sound and heavy beats he feeds you every time. I never really thought about how Jay-Z's mind worked until I heard this and watched 'The Making of: The Rising Tied'. The man knows how to work a up to three songs mashed together to sound really good. If the lyrics weren't so bad I would be a happy kid! I'm not saying I'm unhappy I just could be happier. This album is wourth ur money!

i've listened to a bunch of stuff before but when my friend showed this stuff to me, i became an instant linkin park/ jay-z fan i would recommend this to anyone who likes music at it's best!! the songs i would recommend are numb/encore and izzo/in the end! if u've listened to stuf like this (bon jovi, fuel, nelly,) u have got to listen to one of the greatest combo music in history!!!! it may not be rap but it's sure darn close to perfection!!!!! linkin park is awesome but w/ jay-z they're unstoppable!!!!

OK, i,ve always been a jay-z fan and not to much of a linkin park fan. But this album was awsome i have a nano and a majority of the time i listen to this cd get the cd or most of the songs you will not be sorry. These are my three favorite 1.Numb/encore 2.dirt off your shoulders/lying away from you 3.izzo/in the end

Was this CD a big surprise or what? I was super excited when it came out, this cd mashed up the best of the rock world with the best of the rap world. It honestly was one of the greatest collaborations in the history of music. This was a project that could have only occured with Linkin Park and Jay-Z if these were any other two artist it wouldn't have worked. It was like these songs were meant to be mashed up together. Being a huge fan of Linkin Park and Jay-Z this was a awesome treat. All the songs on the album are great along with the DVD. Be sure to check out Jigga What/Faint, Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer and Big Pimpin'/Papercut.

This is the best cd I've ever had! Definitly worth the money, except for the In The End/ Izzo. Terrible song. But the other ones make this cd definetly worth the money.

it is so wierd that lp was not on before but thank god it is on now. this band is hard rock and the best music around.

Well, the only mind-blowing songs here are "Dirt Off Your Shoulder / Lying From You," and "Numb / Encore." And who charges ten bucks for a music video!? good stuff, just not worth the price

...But I think I'll wait for a new original Linkin Park album. Now, before you guys go psycho on me, I admit that the music is good...well, maybe just the LP parts. It's like pollution, just fogging out the real Linkin Park. Reanimation was a great remixed LP album as the songs were equally divided between LP and the other artists. With Collision Course it just (to me) sounds like Jay-Z takin' over the song. It's great that Linkin Park wants to expand, but they can do so without the aid of other artists. They have talent, real talent. They don't need outside influence for their music. I sincerely hope that their next album coming out this year will be free from the restraints of other artists and just be pure Linkin Park. So, Chester, Rob, Brad, Joseph, Mike, and Dave, if you're listening, we need to hear YOUR music, cause', simply said, it's the best. Long Live Linkin Park!!!

I've always loved LP, and when I found out Jay-Z was going to do some songs with them, I thought KRUD!!! There goes LP, but the songs turned out to be much better than I expected(With the exception of a couple songs). I must admitt, I was impressed.

I've been listen to this since the first day it came out nonstop. It's sooooooooooo good that my ears arnt leeding yet

The best song in this album is by far Numb/Encore. The music makes you want to sing along with it. It gives you energy!

It's different. I don't know. I hear more of Jay-z's beats & voice rather than Linkin Park. I wish there was more Linkin Park. But it's good overall....
