I love almost all of J. Lo's songs... she has this very up beat flow and her love songs have so much feeling in them... I just wish iTunes would carry more of her videos!!! I would really love the "All I Have" video, she looks great in that video and LL Cool J is a MAJOR bonus!!!

Yes this is a song with a great point, but J LO says Jenny from the Block about a million times! I would still buy this because it is a great song and it is at a fair price!

its not that jennifer lopez cant sing, but she is just average. she isnt as good as christina augulara or even lakisha.

Still: Beautiful opening track, lovely vocals. Loving You: Very pretty and addictive. I'm Glad: Perfect choice 4 a single. The One: 1 of my all time fav J.Lo songs. Dear Ben:This saddens me. How much she loved him and they broke up. That must've hurt like hell! All I Have: I love, love, love this track! Jenny From The Block: I don't like the ghetto thing she tried 2 do in this track. Alright. Again: pretty long piano opening. Ok. You Belong To Me: J.Lo's remake is the best of this song! I've Been Thinkin': My fav off this CD. Baby I Love U!: This is her best ballad 2 date. Bonus Track: Great version of an already great song! Final Rating: 8/10. Recommended Buys: Still, I'm Glad, The One, Dear Ben, All I Have, I've Been Thinkin', Baby I Love U!

I LOVE Jenny From the Block and I'm Glad is a pretty good song as well, but the vast majority of these are pretty dull love songs to Ben.

i`m a big fan of jlo but this album stinks the only good song is jenny from the block!!!!!!!!!!!! this is too slow! if u like ballads this is 4u her albums love?,JLO.,and brave are the best on the 6 is ok but this is horrible!

"Still" has a very happy & upbeat flavor, and is a great opening track for J-Lo's - probably - best work before "Rebirth" and "Brave" released in 2005 and 2007. I can tell that some of these songs could have been related to her 'temporary' boyfriend/spouse, Ben Affleck. Why? "Loving You" and "Dear Ben" (notice the 'BEN') were - basically you could say, "possibly" related to her relationship with the guy. But beside all of that wonderful and creative tracks are featured here. Favorites are 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12. If you're a fan of Jennifer Lopez and most of her work, you probably should have, or in the future, should buy (bought) this album. Who wouldn't? Let me ask you that!

This album was surprisngly good. "Jenny From The Block" is still a great song.

Was scrolling through my collection and came across this album. This is where I started to take Jennifer Lopez serious as an artist. Still has to be her greatest song vocally ever. If she can do another album like this than I'll buy it.

JENNIFER LOPEZ returns.... coming off of 2001's hugely successful "J.LO". On THIS IS ME...THEN, Jennifer trys very hard to re-capture who she is as a woman, and shed the title of "J-LO" that was left so heavily after her last CD. This record is the one where Jennifer really trys to become JENNIFER LOPEZ again, and she for the most part succeeds. "STILL", "LOVING U", "I'M GLAD", ALL i HAVE", and "JENNY FROM THE BLOCK" are all unique pop/r&b songs...much the like the style of her 1999 debut ON THE 6. The only thing that makes this record simply good and not EXCELLENT, is the fact that she draws too much on Ben Affleck here....a relationship of hers which tanked before she made it down the isle. Those few songs are mushy, cheezy, and don't really fit. However, it's still a good disc. As a whole I think it's much better then 2001's JLO

This album, since being released at the end of 2002, has been one of my favourite albums, and this definitely is her best, matched only by "Como Ama Una Mujer." There's something about her slow jams that just get you. Songs like Still, Loving You, I've Been Thinkin', Baby I Love U!, I'm Glad, The One, All I Have and even Dear Ben (**rolls eyes** lol) all have their own appeals and the whole album doesnt seem to drag on, but progresses very well. Jenny from The Block is listenable, but trust me there are better songs on the album. This is the writing J.Lo(most of it), so these songs are personal and from the heart. Jusbuy & Juslisen!!

this is the best album Jennifer Lopez has released besides On the 6 and i love this album. in my opinion, this is the best she's ever sounded as an artist. overall i think this is a really good album.

It's not that JLo can't sing, act, or dance, it's just that this album is just average. None of the songs appeal to me. The beat is pretty much the same in every single song, and it just gets boring. The only song I would recommend buying is "Jenny from the Block (Track Masters Remix featuring Styles & Jadakiss)" because it's an old song of hers that hasn't gotten too old. It's an okay song, but I don't like it enough to buy it.

Still - a great beat, with good lyrics - 10/10 Loving You - sounds like juicy by Mtume, but it is very good... 10/10 I'm Glad - another great song about love, but not that great.. 9.5/10 The One - Jen knows how to set the mood and this does it.. 10/10 Dear Ben - the infamous songa bout Ben Affleck, i think it is a highlight from this 10/10 All I Have - I remember this song when i was little.. 2002, great song 10/10 Jenny from The Block (Remix) - like the remix but the original was better, sorry 6/10 Again - wonderful tune, very early 00's ish.. great! 10/10 You Belong to Me - not that good, i dont know, i just dont like it. 4/10 I've Been Thinkin' - great slow/fast song.. great song 10/10 Baby, I Love U! - I love this song, the best song from the whole album - 10/10 The One (Version 2) - not good. 2/10

I like jlo, i think she has a really stunning voice

Jennifer Lopez has, for the most part, put in most of her input into this album. Its consistency might seem to others a bit dry and mawkish, but to a more appreciative ear, it is a well-constructed album, evident not only in its high production value, but in Lopez's contribution to its making (she is a co-writer for 9 of the 12 songs featured here, with the exception of tracks 1, 4, and 9). The concensus is that this album is undeniably her most mature, appealing to an 80's audience with its sultry, soulful hooks and beats. Unlike its sophomore predecessor, this one's not for the teenyboppers! "Still" is a beautiful and haunting track well suited to introduce the rest of the album, and the perfume line of the same name. To this day I have not figured out what sample loops in this track, but it is admittedly infectious. "Loving You" is memorable for its chorus, a trend that can notoriously be found in all of Lopez's songs. "The One," sampling "You Are Everything" by The Stylistics (Version 2 being the most obvious case) is a catchy tune that is worthy to be a single. Apart from the sappy "Dear Ben" and ridiculous, over-sampled "Jenny From the Block," the album stands solid with beautiful ballads like the aforementioned, the delightful duet with LL Cool J (which samples "Very Special" by Debra and Ronnie Laws, if you want to check it out), the powerfully arranged "Again", "I've Been Thinkin'," and even the cover of Carly Simon's "You Belong to Me" strikes a chord (a Spanish guitar chord, no less) with the listener. If you want to listen to an album that delivers soulful beats and catchy lyrics (no matter how overwrought), this is one guilty pleasure I recommend.

Jennifer Lopez has brought the world an album that is soft and personal. It is an album with great lyrics, amazing music, and just the right voice to go with each song. This album is by far her best, touching one in a way that we can all relate too. Still = 10/10 Just the right vibe Loving You = 10/10 Great to listen to well on the go I'm Glad = 8/10 It took me a while to love this song, but none the less it grew on me Dear Ben = 10/10 Dear Ben is such a personal song that lovers every where can indeed connect with her The One = 10/10 The one is an all around great track. Over all Jennifer Lopez has again brought fans a great album. Although she is great at what she does, she needs to focus on her music, because it is wonderful.

Even if you aren't a fan of Jennifer Lopez you will enjoy this album. It has some great production and it's kind of a throwback to 60s and 70s R&B. She did a fantastic job with this one. Well worth the purchase. Standouts: "Still", "I'm Glad", "Dear Ben", "Again", "The One"

The song "You Belong To Me" (Originaly sung by Michael McDonald) is one of my favorite songs WHEN IT IS SUNG BY HIM! I'm sorry I know she tried to put her own flip on it but somethings just need to be left alone! She should not have messed up a beautiful song like that. I love jennifer but please dont attempt another Michael McDonald song EVER AGAIN!

Well, after she finished with the whole "Love Don't Cost a Thing" phase she basically made an entire album singing about her alove for Ben Affleck. The album is really stripped down, and she is showing off her great voice in this album, than any other album of her's.

Still is a great track. Every track is great, especially, Jenny on the Block, and Dear Ben.

I ENJOYED 96% of this album... The only songs that severely got on my nerves was Loving You, I'm Glad, & The One... The rest of this album was really great!!!! I honestly recommend it! Best Song: Again!

i loved this album, it has it all. the duet with LL Cool J was fantastic. way to go jen.

This album was her best album so far, beating out the so-so remix album, her sophomore slump, and On The 6, her debut. There is much more variety and catchier songs. Highlights are Still, Loving You, The One, Jenny From The Block, The One (Version 2), the latter 2 being my favorites. This album has more style, and better songwriting. Gone are the days for Lopez of the one defined hit standing out and all the other songs doing poorly, all these songs are great.
