So yeah, I came across remembering old school childhood jams and thought about the one and only Shakira and, I have to add on that she is by far my favorite female spanish singer of all time. (because I'm sorry to say but her as an artist singing in inglish is not her style nor does it go with her, and it's just a shame going from being amazingly talented to basically selling out pretty badly). I will never forget how when in my childhood years that I spent in South America (Bolivia) to be exact. on this one Pepsi comercial that they played over and over again, there was Shakira drinking out of a bottle of Pepsi while singing the first verse into the chorus of her song Inevitable, as if the drink was "Inevitable". haha. thought I'd share. :]

this album is one of her greatest albums every song has soul lyrics and music are absolutely wonderful very inspiring love this whole album her song writting proves she is one of the most talented female pop artists around today with this album

Seriously iTunes....if you're gonna have such a good album, you need to put the music videos from this album up like Ciega, Sordomuda, No Creo, Inevitable, Tu and especially OJOS ASI!!

i think this is one of shakira's best albums to date, it happens to also be my favorite. The only problem is that there is a song missing # 6 " el octavo dia" .

In my opinion, this is the best album Shakira has made to date. All of the songs are different and filled with great instrumentals and vocals. By listening to this album, I feel like I know Shakira. Each song is a depiction of her emotions. The only downside to this is that it is missing some songs, including "Octavo Día," my favorite song on the album. It has such a true message and feeling in the lyrics.

Shakira is a great artist. With beautiful lyrics and catchy beats, shakira moves me. she knows how to pack a punch. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Donde Estan Los Ladrones" has been my all time favorite album since its release... songs like SI TE VAS, INEVITABLE just resonate even today a good 10 years after its initial release .... rock anthems, bravura and poetry .... shakiras best !!!! C'mon iTunes! You are missing the title track, donde esta "Donde estan los ladrones?" and how about "Octavo Dia"? Those are two awesome songs! I want to buy this album, but not if it's incomplete.

At my school we have a spanish class and my spanish teacher always has us sing songs! So far we've sung Ciega, Sordomuda as well as Estoy Aqi (also by Shakira but not on this album). Sometimes when we're working she'll play other songs for us. One day she played a song that I thought sounded kind of Egyptiany and everyone in my class seemed to think it was awesome so I went on I-Tunes to look it up and now that that song was OJOS ASI!!!! OMG I LOVE THAT SONG I SERIOUSLY HOPE MY CLASS SINGS IT LATER THIS YEAR!

I liked Shakira in "Piez Descalzos," but I fell totally in love with her with the arrival of "Donde estan los ladrones." It's a perfect album. You can listen all the way through without skipping a song. The songs are so powerful, colorful, and moving. The music is amazing and the lyrics are well written and thought provoking. It's too bad iTunes only provides a partial album. This is still, in my opinion, Shakira's best album ever. I also miss her hair in this album; but that's a non music issue.

I don't know what happens in the labyrinthine pathways of electronic music delivery services, but I bought this album before about half of it was cut out of iTunes "American" market. Please, every note that Shakira sings is worth the purchase. I guess in this case it means ya gotta go buy the CD, but do it!

Dónde están los ladrones? [Where are the thievers?] is a very good album. It's completely in spanish, and I understand every word in that language. Is a shame that iTunes don't have the #6 track "octavo día", is a really good one. I have listen this album for years, and it's magnific! 5 stars to Shakira!!! Dónde están los ladrones? es un album muy bueno. Es una pena que iTunes no tenga la canción #6, octavo día, porque es una muy buena historia, con sentido y que nos habla de un dios que creó todo, pero al final termina sin trabajo. He escuchado este disco por años, y es demasiado bueno. 5 estrellas para Shakira!!!!

Her spanish album surpasses her english stuff by far - and I do not even speak her native language, nor can I understand it and yet I can sing to most of her songs! Her voice and her language are such a beautiful paring...great, great album.

Did you know that Shakira wrote the song "Donde estan los ladrones?" because she had a suitcase with all her music and such, and onetime, when she went to the airport, some robbers stole her suitcase, so Shakira wrote the song "Donde estan los ladrones?" asking people were are the robbers (thats what donde estan los ladrones translates to in english). Other than that, Shakira is an incrdible singer with a lot of potential. I personally think that this is one of her best CD's

Donde Estan Los Ladrones, Shakira's second album, shows us a more confident, dramatic Shakria than its predecessor. It has a very similar style to Pies Descalzos, mixing Latin folk music and Rock en Espanol to come up with catchy, unique Latin pop, but these songs are more clearly defined from each other and memorable. Shakira's beautiful voice takes us through delicate, acoustic melodies, blaring Middle Eastern tunes, and Mariachi music as she sings clever, emotional lyrics. Best Songs: Ojos Asi, Ciega, Sordomuda, Tu, No Creo, Si Te Vas, Inevitable, Moscas en la Casa... all of them! P.S. You can get the two songs that iTunes doesn't have but that came with the original album (Octavo Dia and Donde Estan Los Ladrones) from the MTV Unplugged album.

This Album is Shakira's best, too bad its missing tracks. But Shakira demonstrates her diversity in each song. Ojos Asi, Ciega Sormuda, Si Te Vas, Inevitable, Que Vuelvas, and Tu are the best songs the rest are good but these are the ones that stood out the most. If only Shakira would go back to her original sound and HAIR.

For those people who whant to know mor about Shakira, this is one of the best album. Se los recomiendo, la letra es de lo mejor.
