Back then this was considered "hard rock" or "glamor rock", along with groups like Bon Jovi, Stryper, white Lion, Scorpions, Dokens, Poison, Guns and Roses and Def Leppard....music I grew up with and happened to love in junior high and high school back in the 80's. Heavy metal is more like Megadeth, Pantera, Deep Purple, motorhead,AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Slayer...which, in my personal oppinion is garbage music.
