this album is hot, lots of dance beats, and hip hop rythms, cool hooks and awsome cameo's, dont know why people have to hate, but its a great summer album to be pumpin. Diddy is the master of beats and hooks, i love this album, i dont understand why people have to hate. And btw, not all hip hop/rap artists have to have some sort of steep underground message to be enjoyed.

This album is for club headz...it's thumping and gets people moving...nuff said

ok.. diddy cant rap. he made money off of the greatest rapper ever biggie. and this album, some of the tracks do sound like pop.. he's lucky he knows alot of ppl in this bussiness to back him up in the tracks too. like "tell me" christina defnely saves that song. for sure. the song thats wack.. last night.. dude!! diddy TRYS to sing r&b!!! i find that funny!! but keyshia does a great job with the beat. out of all.. diddy doesnt know how to rap, and crossed his best friend. R.I.P B.I.G.!

Congratulations to Sean "Diddy" Combs on what I see as a close second to his debut 1997 album, No Way Out. You really shocked the world with this one. You are an enterntainer, and this album full of hip-hop dance beats, stories of sucess, love, and heartbreak make this an enjoyable 90 minutes of listening. I've listened to various tracks daily since its orginal release in October of 06. Really looking forward to the Press Play Remix album, and We Invented the Remix 2. "Bad Boy Bay B!"

i've never purchased a whole "diddy" album, and now i never will. i liked the song "last night", and i purchased the explicit version. what a MISTAKE. the only thing that made the song explicit was a expletive-laden tirade by diddy at the end, basically threatening physical harm to his "girlfriend" in the song. it's scary, it's wrong, and it was UNNECCESSARY. WHY???? i want my .99 cents back. seriously. >:o(

The album is good but not great. Its definally somethin new, that u havent heard before. You cant compare here lyrics to lil wayne, jay z , or nas...b/c we kno him for just makin party music. Diddy, ok first off the song is pretty good. but the bad thing is that u r all bored and everythin in the song then Keyshia Cole steps in all full of energy and it makes u look like crap. it jus a bad combination. it would be a good combination if i was i dif. song. come to me wit nicole Schzinger that song was perfect. it was a good combination yall song good combination. throughout this cd. it goes up and then it goes down.

Listen i love Diddy or whatever he calls himself now, (may i suggest puff the magic dragon,) but the only reason he is famous is cuz of Biggie. Yeah and hes had a few good hits back in the day, but none by himself so what does he do releases an album. Dont ever stop. This CD is simply amazing, i've repeated this cd in my car over and over. There may be only 1 or 2 songs i skip, but still a GREAT CD!!! The beats are awesome too. My top 5 favorite songs... 1) We Gon' Make It (him and Jack Knight are great together, i love when diddy sings/talks behind the chorus) 2) Tell Me (Diddy rips it in this song, sick beat too) 3) Everything I Love (Wow! diddy and Nas sound great in this song, again diddy rips it in this one) 4) Wanna Move (Great beat, you can deffinately party to this song) 5) Through the Pain (Great song, Mario Winans sounds awesome like always) ...great cd overall, its a must buy for any Diddy fan.

I had to buy these songs twice. the first time they downloaded but wouldn't play.. a complete waste of money..

I'm really, really sorry. But I bought this album hoping it was gonna be good after his single Come To Me which was alright at the time but now it stinks. But this album shows that Diddy can't control a song on his own and has to get people that are famous and have talent to do it with him. A lot of these songs could've been good, but it's just another waste of time. I dont even know why I'm writing this review 'cause I could care less about Diddy and his little sex fantasies. And did I mention that mostly every song on here has to do with sex? Okay I'm kinda getting mad here so I should stop right here leaving you off on what to do. Waste your money or go buy something good? The only cool song on here is Last Night. So seriously. I think you should go buy something good and not this. Thank you.

Nothing he ever does can top his debut. But its really OK. Some key songs are the singles, as well as Wanna Move, Diddy Rock, We Gon Make It (best song on there, Game wrote it) and Everything I Love (because of Nas.) Get those.

When I bought "Last Night" it won't let me play it on my Ipod or ITunes! Thats outrageous. It says its wrong or something like that. Does anyone know why it is doing that, or did that happen to anyone else?

I love the song "Last Night" because i love Keyshia Cole's part she needs help so he calls her but he "couldn't even get an answer" so hello. Diddy may have changed his name a few times but this song is a good comeback since Diddy has been in the shadows for a few years.

Yes P Diddy, I will Press Play. P has got some amazing talent and has joined with many other talented artists to create this amazing album. Being a loyal fan of Diddy's ofr the last 10 years!, I would say quite a few of the songs on this album are greats! No one can argue about my favourite song being I'll Be Missing You, and I'm sure all us Diddy fans agree that nothing could ever top that hit, in fact nothing could even come close to that, but yet again, Diddy has gave us another great album, with another lot of great songs.

Want a really good Diddy CD? buy No Way Out. Just to be nice, I'll give this 3 stars, since it did have good songs on it. I was really into Tell Me w/ Christina Aguilera and partly bought the CD because of it, but besides After Love w/ Keri, Through The Pain w/Mario Winans, Thought You Said w/Brandy, and the biggest reason to buy the CD, Last Night w/Keyshia Cole, this CD lame.

I judge albums by how many hot tracks are on it. Press Play has tons. Diddy's biggest weekness (according to his critics) is that he uses sampled beats to make hits. I disagree as everyone would be a hot producer. This album he created/used all orignal beats except for one track. He was trying to prove to us or himself that he can create hot songs regardless of the beat. He proved he can with Hold Up, Come to Me, Wanna Move, Everything I Love ft Nas, After Love & current single Last Night ft Keyshia Cole. The problem with an Artist/Entertainer like Diddy is his persona overshadows almost anything he does creatively. I looked passed this and found I enjoyed the music, it spoke to my soul. Now, how about a single/video for track 14 'After Love' ft Keri? I suggest you give Press Play a listen before you pass on one of the best albums of 2006 - 2007.
