Label clean goddamnit and bring back the explicit version

Really wish I had read reviews before I bought this. Why is there a censored version?! Shouldn't iTunes at least state that this is the edited version?! So disappointed.

Who wants to buy the clean version of these songs.

I had not even a single thought about censorship when listening to TD. this is a travesty, and it should never have been created. Original uncensored version, please. That, or my money back.

Im only a teen/tween so i shouldnt be repeating any of the words the originals have, sure it the almighty D and they rock but come on! If you liked the movie and you like the band then buy it! If you dont then why are you even reading this review?!? I buy the music for the epicness, not the explicit language. (And believe me, the music IS epic!)

I agree this clean version is completely gay! No one wants to hear this garbage. I understand if yur not allowed to but at least have both!

It's only semi-clean and that effin' ruined it I want the songs like in the movie. . wasted. 

Buy the real album first

Like a few others, I should've read the reviews first before buying a few tracks off of this. Had I did read them, I would've known that this is the clean version! >:( iTunes seriously needs to tag these albums, singles, EPs, etc correctly for some of us impulse buyers!! 3 stars because it's The D, -2 for being censored.

This is NOT Tenacious D. It's more like Lethargic D. I did not expect to have CENSORED lyrics when I bought this and I am very upset and almost embarrassed to listen to this garbage. Itunes DO NOT have in their description that it's clean and I feel very ripped off. I demand a refund.

I love this movie and I own the movie. I was hoping to get the soundtrack from the movie, NOT the clean version but its still good

Not as good as the uncensored versions of the songs, but eh.... It's alright. But seriously? Even if you had to censor it, why in the name of all that's good did you have to use the kiddie words. I heard the word 'fudge' used as a replacement in Beezleboss..... Really?

It doesnt say uncensored on the album, or explicit on an an individual song, you just totally tricked people into buying clean versions of this. F*ck you iTunes

I absolutely agree with the major disappointment of the reviewers below me. iTunes, this is a travesty to music lovers everywhere. How can you represent so much musical sharing/buying/creating prowess, yet not simply label an album as clean or explicit? I honestly feel like my money was stolen from me, because I would NOT have spent it, knowing these "clean" songs were the only ones available. Thanks for nothing Apple/iTunes. Hope it's comfy up there in your rich corporate offices, piled high on stolen money. Don't worry about us little people...We're fine down here, giving you our hard earned money, even in a recession. I begrudgingly give the one star, half because at least you have The D, and half just to get my review uploaded. Thanks again for nothing.

censorship ruins this albun

This album is the greatest I swear ! If anyone dislikes this band then you don't know real music when you hear it. JB and KG are amazing they are music geniuses. The only thing disappointing about this album was that it was censored that's it. Please it the uncensored on this then this album will be complete again.

Tenacious D is awesome, but I bought this thinking it was the freaking explicit version...it wasn't.

Tenacious D has always been one of my favorite bands, they combine good old fashioned rock and roll with a twisted sense of humor. If you are just getting into Tenacious D i MIGHT recommend this album if you were easily offended but then i'd also be asking you why you were interested in Tenacious D. This album has all of the glorious music of the film,but censored. Now censoring is not usually a problem, but in this particular case it ruins the experience. This music was not meant to be censored, and on a quick listen through it becomes glaringly obvious: some of the notes sound off, the tempo may change a little and many of the songs lose their power (listen to the orignal Beelzeboss and then this one,you'll know what i'm talking about) If you're new to the D go ahead and download thier (explicit) self titled album, if you're a fan wanting to add to your D collection go out and buy the actual (explicit) P.O.D soundtrack in a store. This version is NOWHERE near the orginal filth-laden hard rock experience that is The Pick of Destiny.

I did not mean to blow your mind!

I should have read the reviews... I have seen the movie multiple times, and love it! Knowing all of the lyrics from the movie and then listing to the clean version of the album, I only made it to the second track because it sounded so off.

I have no words to describe HOW disappointed I am that there's no cussing. I went to the actual apple website in hopes of contacting them to communicate my frustration, but they make it nearly impossible AND AGAIN I HAVE NO WORDS. Well..that's all I have to say.

You can NOT censor the D. Its not the same. I was forced to obtain the album in its uncensored glory in another manner...

Note that this album are the original songs they are the radio edits. I was not expecting that. Kinda funny to hear the choice of word replacements. Trouble is quite a number of F-bombs slip through. Looking at you Kickapoo, lol
