- About time

after being on what seems everyone's hit's Mark Ronson finally gives us his exclusive work. Love here comes the fuzz and Versions does not let me down. Oh Wee Thanks Mark for great music

- For the record this is his second 'official' album

...And it's great to hear his sound applied to so many different great covers. Great to see the inclusion of Kasabian a really overlooked band here in the states, Lily Allen and my wife Ms. Amy Winehouse.

- This Version Rocks!

The mega-hot producer behind Amy Winehouse's breakthrough "Back to Black" and Lily Allen's debut is back again, this time, with an album of covers. Combining retro motown-cool with a modern hip-hop twist, tracks like "Stop Me," "Oh My God" and the super-funky version of Britney Spears' "Toxic" are instant classics, while the Amy Winehouse featured "Valarie" is probably the stand out track here. From the sound of this collection, this guy is just getting started and he's here to stay!

- fabulous cd

this is a fabulous cd, i have been waiting for it to come out for sooo long!!! i love all the songs but espially "oh my god"

- RONSON ROCKS!!!!!

Funky tunes with a funky FUNKY beat. I'm in like this season of Hell's Kitchen.

- 5 stars for Track Number 5 "Valerie" sung by Amy Winehouse

Valerie is a hot track, I bought it because Amy Winehouse rules, and "valerie" is a hot song, a must buy.

- i love this

this album is awesome,i love these songs so much

- Seems Like the Best Music Lately is Coming From the UK

Mark Ronson's got soul! This is a really good CD. Every song is tight. Strongly recommend.

- good album

He does a good job of just incoporating some different perspectives on the music remix. Unfortunately, he could have picked some better songs to do them on.

- how about marc noson

With his hits such as Pretty Green, Amy, I Do have the flu, and Stop Me. He has Failed at existing once again. sorry michael we have takeoff

- Brilliant, revamped sound

Buy this album!

- Covering the Bases - And the Brass!

Mark Ronson has had success producing breakout artists such as Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse and developing artists for his own label (such as the rapper Ryhmefest) - not to mention a great career as a DJ. The horns-heavy Version (Ronson's 2nd album) has already had some major success in the UK - the single "Stop Me" (a cover that brilliantly blends The Smiths and The Supremes) has been a hit for quite some time. Blending hip-hop, soul, jazz and the kitchen sink, Ronson worked with a diverse group of artists to update some classics and give some contemporary tunes and new spin. I've been listening to this album for awhile and fall in love with it more and more! I'm a fan of cover albums in general and love when an artist (or DJ or producer or whatever you would like to call him) can make someone else's track their own - while retaining the original integrity of the track, of course. Ronson and Lily Allen's cover of the Kaiser Chief's "Oh My God" is one of my favorites and is poppier than the original but is almost imcomprable as it might as well be a completely different song. Other incredible change is the cover of Radiohead's "Just", which features the lead singer of "the OC theme song band", Phantom Planet - it's the track that initially drew me to listen to the rest of the album and is still one of my favorites to play on repeat. And I know I can't help but love the twisted and stirred cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic" that is mixed in with Ol' Dirty Bastard - it's one of many songs on the album that make me envision Ronson the DJ, mixing the tracks on some turntables and getting the crowd moving. I've also come to adore the completely transformed cover of Ryan Adams' "Amy" which brings out the song's inner pop and makes it shine that the brass horns that accompany Kenna's voice. Clearly, I believe this is a great album with diverse influences that I hope does as well in the US as it has across the pond!

- Breath of Fresh Air

The display of instrumentation is very much welcomed. It recalls what is great about new wave from the 80's, skillful experimentation. All the stlyes work and blend seemlessly.

- great music

now this is just some straight up good music!!!!

- Great Remix of Classic Songs!

This album is the party mix of the summer. Every track is a classic. Standouts for me are "Stop Me." "Valerie" and "The Only One I Know." Well worth the money

- ummm... no.

Sure, yeah they sound good, but I would've just kept the orignal songs, they way the were. My sister and I literally yelled at the computer when we heard that a Smiths song was done. I wouldn't buy this at all.

- Finally!

I got the Single when STOP ME first came out and i was PLEASANTLY surprised to find his album finally available today i think he is a brilliant artist with beautiful music i love all these songs its fun, hip, fresh, and about TIME!

- VERY Good

Very chill CD. Sometimes it gets a little boring but with songs like "Valerie" and "oh My God," it's def better then the Hannah Montana CD catalog put together. If you enjoy this, check out Amy Winehouse. You won't look back.

- I've been waiting for this!

I'm so glad iTunes put this album up. Mark Ronson is a genius. Although, I must admit, after a while the songs all kind of sound the same and it gets boring. But he makes these songs sound WAY better than the originals- in my opinion, take it for what it's worth. 'Oh My God' is my favorite, and the variety of voices on here is refreshing.

- Mark Ronson is the new Jamie Lydell!!!

Yeah, no doubt; he's blowing up big and working with Lilly allen, Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilla and a former "dude" (who's looking a bit tattered now that the ego has landed)-- Robbie Williams (note to Robbie: time to remake yourself). Ronson delivers a great summertime park jam album with fat bass and kick ya in your ribs brass. Get in early cause these are the songs that you casually rotate into your dash when driving with friends. They will all ask you: "Who's this?". Great soundtrack to your next night out with Stella and her friends. Drink up boys. The nights just started. When you come about tomorrow check out the vid for "Oh My God" and you will be asking yourself as I was asking myself: "Self? Can Lilly Allen be any more animated?" Apparently the answer is yes and done quite nicely.
