If you're not familiar with Vicente Fernandez, just listen to this song that I mentioned in the tittle of my review. You dont even need to speak spanish to apreciate his voice and the emotion in each and every word. If you dont speak spanish, translate his lyrics, if you've never been to his show, look him up on youtube. He is over 60 years, and still fills stadiums in Mexico, U.S., and Latin America. He is famous for being a humble blu collar guy. Hes a drinker, a smoker, and in his prime a womanizer. In every concert his motto is, "I wont stop singing as long as you dont stop aplauding" He will go over 3 hours non stop, until the stadium turns the lights on him. Look up "Aca Entre Nos en vivo" on youtube. Watch as he puts the mike down and sings acapella across the stadium...60 years old. Read his Bio. He is the King of Mexico.

This CD is awesome. I love all the songs they are great. The day the disc came out everybody was waiting for Halo 3 to come out but not me I was in line waiting for the new Vicente Fernandez CD. La Derrota, A Quien Va A Amar Mas Que A Mi, Los Cazahuates.....ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT! Este CD esta padre. Me encantan todas las canciones estan chidas. El dia que salio el disco todos estaban esperando Halo 3 para que saliera pero yo estaba en linea esperando en linea por el nuevo CD de Vicente Fernandez. La Derrota, A Quien Va A Amar Mas Que A Mi, Los Cazahuates.....TODAS ESTAM BIEN PADRES!

I think people are commenting on how phenomenal this album is because they were expecting Vicente to put out something sub par. It's understandable since the man is in his 60's, but you have to hand it to him. I've yet to hear an album where he disappoints, and he's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that as he gets older, his voice just sounds better. Working with Joan Sebastian (egotistical as he may be) really helped shape this into one of the best albums of the year.

Lupillo Rivera one of the big ones, I don't thimk so. This man is real thing. Cant wait for the next hit.

After last night's concert in El Paso, TX I remembered vivdly why this man is a staple in Mexican music, and all types of music as far as I'm concerned. He gives a PHENOMENAL performance, and if the rest of this CD is anything like the songs he sang from it at the concert, I'm sure it's great!! He drove on for almost 3 hours and every song was thouroughly enjoyable! Viva Chente!!!

Wheyn they told me Joan wrote and seleceted all of the songs on this disk, I knew it would be a hit.... Without a doubt, one of the better ones from Chente in a while. "Amor Sin Cuenta" is a really good song.

Vicente Fernández es y será el NUMERO UNO. El disco es buenísimo, tiene de todo, rancheras, romanticas, algunas alegres sin dejar a un lado lo bravío que siempre lo caracterizó y lo hizo grande. Joan Sebastian es un gran scompositor y aqui lo demuestra. Esto es lo que sucede cuando dos grandes se juntan, un excelente compositor y un interprete sin igual. El disco es excelente, mas que recomendable.Que bueno que aun tenemos chente para rato, sorprendente que siga cantando con esa potencia. En lo personal estoy harto del POP barato, un disco de éstos retoma la buena musica de antes. Muy recomendable.

The title "Para Siempre" fits Vicente's album perfectly, because he will "forever" be remembered for his hits and this album just seals the deal for his musical legacy.
