"Hot as Ice" is the ninth track from Britney Spears's album, Blackout (2007). The two unreleased songs he collaborated on with her and produced are titled "Boyfriend" and "One Of A Kind." "They are rebellious songs," says T-Pain, born Faheem Najim. Britney Spears - Hot As Ice Song Lyrics

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Uh-huh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm just a girl with the ability to drive a man crazy (crazy)
Make him call me mama (mama)
Make him my new baby (baby)
New and improved, them saying, thank you very much (uh, huh)
Living legend, you can look but don't touch

'Cause I'm (ooh) cold as fire, baby (hot as ice)
If you've ever been to heaven (this is twice as nice)
I'm (ooh) cold as fire, baby (hot as ice)
If you've ever been to heaven (this is twice as nice)

Break it down
Break it down
Break it down
Break it down
Break it down
Break it down

- Sad but True...

First let me say that I am an extremely huge Britney Spears fan. I have so many of her songs, that people think I'm obsessed. This album is not Britney at her best... and I will explain why. This album is very In the Zone, but it's not subtle sexuality... it's very out there with it. This leads to dirty lyrics, confusing vocals (moaning and breathing) and a strange theme. Not to say that it doesn't have its good points (Gimme More, Piece of Me, and Break the Ice are very good songs.) But it's so over synthed that it doesn't even sound like Britney. Basically, this album doesn't show of her true vocal ability, which is seen on her first two albums, Baby One More Time and Oops! I Did It Again. I know the overall theme was dance, and it does show off dance; but a pop album should have a balance of vocals and dance. The instrumentals lose Britney's voice; especially the song Get Naked (I Got a Plan). I hate to say it, but I love the song Get Naked. It's so bad (and I mean BAD) that it's good. It's like a trainwreck that you just can't turn away. It's not even vocals that I like. It's the tune and beat that caught me. The moaning is a turn off. This album is pretty much a fun thing to play at dance parties once in a while, but not a serious 'get into it' album. I wouldn't recommend this album as a must buy. I would say that if you like it, buy it... but this is the Britney album you won't see on my shelves. I would much rather have the first 4, and Circus. I do give Britney an A for a valid effort through the turmil in her life at the time of recording this album, however... but a D+ for music overall.

- Woww!!!

By far her best album!!!!! The real queen of pop!!!!!!!!! =D <3

- 4.5

this is my second favorite album by her the production is the best out of any of her cds even circus. but the vocals arent that good. there ok. 1. gimme more 5/5 2. piece of me 5/5 3. radar 5/5 4. break the ice 5/5 5. heaven on earth 5/5 6. get naked 4/5 7. freakshow 4/5 8. toy soldier 3/5 9. hot as ice 5/5 10. ooh ooh baby 4/5 11. perfect lover 5/5 12. why should i be sad 4/5 this is the slowest song of the album and it isnt very slow i wish there was a real ballad on this album my only complain but i can listen to this cd straight thru =]

- I love it!!!!

I love Britney and this has my fave songs!!!!!!

- Great Album

Ok does Itunes hate Britney much or what? All their reviews of her albums are complete BS! This album is great and any Britney fan will think so. You don't expect a voice like Celine Dion when you buy a Britney album... You expect addicting dance tracks and her voice, which is as always not strong but definitely sexy. Radar, Gimme More, Break the Ice and Piece of Me are all great tracks and very addicting. I will not be trusting Itunes' reviews of her future albums anymore as they are all biased.

- wow!

This Cd is explicit!

- Best Pop Album of the Decade!

By a mile it's Britney's most underated and best album! Even Time magazine agrees! It's just perfect, years ahead of it's time and paved the way for other artists in the electro-pop bandwagon! Every song is different! A must for EVERYONE!

- BLACKOUT

Gimme More-(8/10) really fun and awesome.Just a really good song lol. Peice of Me-(10/10)I've also had this song before i bought the cd, but i still love it. It has been my favorite song for almost a year and i have listened to it non stop since I got it and it has never got old. I guess it is just one of those special songs:) "I'm Mrs. most likely to get on the TV 4 strippin on the streets while gettin the groceries now 4 real R U KIDDING ME" lol Radar-(9/10) I just love this song AND the video. The horses r so pretty and it is very unusual. There is kinda a lack of dancing, though. I really shhould just be talking about the song, not the video oops. Break the Ice-(9-10)I like this song especially the verses. i like the chorous people haha very unusual. Heaven On Earth-(9-10) More people need to notice this song!!! I love it!! Get Naked (I Got a Plan)-(8/10) I really used to not like this song, but somehow, it is starting to grow on me. I dont like danja in this song, and he sings probably the same amount that britney does!!!!Truly, this song is kinda dissapointing. Its all about sex and i dont like that! Even though a lot of her songs are about sex, this one really bothers me. Theres so much to say but i cant seem to put it into words!!!!!!!! One of my least favorites. Freakshow-(8/10) I know a lot of ppl like this song but i dont really see whats so good about it. Toy Soldier-(10/10) love this one! i just dont think she really uses her voice in this song much though. ONe of the best!!! Hot as Ice-(9/10) I like this song! dont no what else to say; ) Ooh Ooh Baby-(7/10) Once again dont no what to say, dont have anything to say! Perfect Lover-(8-10)More people need to buy this song its one of the best on the album!!!!!!!!(IMO) Why Should I Be Sad-(8-10) Well, I should be sad because britney didnt give it her all on this song: (. Well, its not all her fault, considering she doesnt write her own songs. But i dont really care about that because i probably cant write a song to save my life. Anyways, this song is just the same beat over and over again throughout the whole song.not her style but starting to grow on me. Recomended Tracks- every single one. if you dont have every song on here, buy them. you really cant get much better.

- AMAZING.

i love this album, and i STRONGLY disagree with the review on itunes calling britney "white trash" or "out of it". Britney is and WILL BE the QUEEN OF POP. not madonna :)

- Not artist fan, but great songs

I don't like britney for the most part the only ones I like are Toxic, Gimme More, and Piece Of Me 2/3 on this album!

- THIS IS THE BEST BRITNEY ALBUM!!!

this album is so underrated! this is probably her best album to date. i luv every songs in the album. it should have a platinum sale.

- Should've been the comeback album.

Okay, I LOVE Circus, but Blackout would've been the perfect comeback album for Britney. Always ahead of the curve, this album is far from being a disappointment. 1. Gimmie More - Once more, should've been the comeback single. SUCH a good song. I prefer the T.I. remix but I still love this song. I remember the first time I heard it and being blown away by how good it was (and still is). 5/5 2. Piece of Me - Great song with great lyrics about the life of Britney. 5/5 3. Radar - Not a favorite, but I know it is for a lot of people. 3/5 4. Break the Ice - "It's been awhile..I know I shouldn't have kept you waiting..but I'm here now." CHILLS. Flawless song, and deserved a better video. 5/5 5. Heaven on Earth - Simple song, not my favorite, but still a good one. 3/5 6. Get Naked (I got a Plan) - Definitely one of my favorites. Such a sexy song, everything about it is perfection. 7. Freakshow - It took me awhile to love this one, but now I do. Fun beat. 5/5 8. Toy Soldier - My favorite, should've been a single! Fun beat, fun song overall. Could've been a huge hit. 5/5 9. Hot as Ice - "Living legend you can look but don't touch!" great song, very fun. 5/5 10. Ooh Ooh Baby - Once again, fun song. 3/5 11. Perfect Lover - Not my favorite, but still a good song. 3/5 12. Why Should I Be Sad - Not my favorite, but a good end to an amazing album. 3/5 Overall: 4/5 MUST buys (although the whole album is a must buy in my opinion): Gimmie More, Piece of Me, Break the Ice, Get Naked (I Got A Plan), Freakshow, Toy Soldier.

- One of the most underrated Pop albums EVER!

Since "Blackout" was released at a time in Britney's life when she was going through some major personal struggles, it sort of got pushed to the side and was spoken badly of by much of the media. However, when you really listen to this album and forget the circumstances under which it was recorded, you realize that is an epic Pop/Club masterpiece. "Blackout", in my opinion as a huge fan, is Britney's second-best album to date. The whole CD from start to finish is hot as hell, and has some of the sickest beats we've ever heard from her. The songs "Gimme More", "Piece of Me", "Break The Ice", and "Radar" were the only songs on here that were eventually singles with music videos, and they are all fabulous. But honestly, the whole album, with the exception of maybe two songs, are radio-friendly and could have gotten terrific airplay. "Toy Soldier" and "Hot As Ice" are real gems, and definitely should have been released. The latter was performed on her Circus Tour, and therefore got some recognition, but "Toy Soldier" is unfortunately an amazing would-be-hit that got forgotten about. Brit Brit recently announced that she's working on here 7th album due out in March of next year, and I'm hoping it will follow THIS album's lead. This kind of stuff, in my view, is what Britney is best at. I'm REALLY hoping Album #7 will be like this!

- BEST OF BRITNEY

This cd is her comback cd- and holy crap is it good! The songs really grow on you and before I knew it, I was practically obsessed with her cd! BUY THIS CD AND YOU'LL HAVE NO REGRETS! I am listening to freakshow as I write this!

- Blackout the past, Britney's Back.

Well at least with her music. Britney just knows how to feed hits. Catchy melodies like "Piece of me" and "Ooh Ooh Baby" talk about how Ms. Spears has to deal with her life in front of everyone. Songs like "Why Should I Be Sad?" show a side of Britney we've been waiting too see. Knowing Britney she had to sex up the album some how with "Get Naked (I Got A Plan)". Overall Britney has proved she still has the music in her. Although the songs are catchy the producing of Spear's voice are very noticable. We were hoping for the voice that got Britney started but this album fails to show her wide span of pipes and a natutal sounding voice. Well now that Britney has blackedout her music and came back maybe she can blackout her life. So cheers to the ledgandary Britney Spears.

- Britney's Best

Unfortunately, this album was not promoted enough. It is easily Britney's best album to date. The darker, urban/dance pop is different and refreshing to hear. Britney was in a bad place in her life while recording this album and it shows. The music is more personal and emotional which makes for better music. It is rare to hear emotional pop music, but this album delivers. Particularly with Gimme More and Piece of Me. The quality of the music is unsurpassed and the lyrics aren't too bad either. The beats and sounds blow nearly every other pop artist away because of how detailed, creative, and original they are. My personal favorites from this album are Gimme More, Radar, and Break The Ice. Piece of Me is her all time greatest song. This album featured more songs in Britney's concert for "Circus" than the said album itself and there is a reason. The music is great! We can only hope she does more work like this.

- Decent

This album is actually very decent, and has some standout tracks that are some of her greatest hits. These are the kind of songs that you hate to love, but they get stuck in your head anyway. Best Songs: "Gimme More" "Piece Of Me" "Radar" "Break The Ice" Also, the writer of the review seems particulately biased.

- perfect

Greatest intro to a pop song ever. Great and listenable CD. i love it.

- Amazing Album.

Everyone judge's her as a vocalist , just because she's one of the few artists that can acually pull off and album like this . Everybody has their own way of singing and she has a great voice.

- Her Best Album!

This is my song-by-song review of Britney's best album. Gimme More-4/5! This song is a really great song. I don't have much to say about it because I listened to it too much and got really tired of it. Piece Of Me-3/5 It could involve a little more notes. But it has a great beat. Radar-5/5! This is my favorite song! The lyrics, tune, and beat it just great! Break The Ice-4/5. It's pretty good, I just don't the part where is just plays the weird music and Britney's going "I like this Part" It's a little awkward. Heaven On Earth-4/5. It's pretty good! I love the beat, and how her voice sounds in this song. Get Naked(I got a Plan)-1/5. What in the world. It's a very freakish song, and I can't bear to listen to it. Freakshow-2/5. It is freaky! Toy Soldier-2/5. Kind of sounds like she's attempting to sing Hip-Hop. Hot As Ice-4/5. I love this song. It just makes me smile for some reason. Ooh Ooh Baby-3/5 It sounds very similar to Radar. Perfect Lover-2/5. Not one of her best songs. And it's a little too sexual. Why Should I Be Sad- 1/5. I just hate it for some reason. The beat is wierd, so is the tune, and her voice in this song. Final Thoughts: Pretty Good album. I wouldn't suggest buying the whole thing. Just the songs you think you would like based on listening to the preview.

- her best..

album ever i wish circus was this good .. i am so mad im missing her concert when im in europe.

- THIS IS SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!

I luv it

- Shows her true colors even through a dark time in her life.

Blackout is Britney's best albums she has ever created. Not only did she co-write most of her songs, but she was also the executive producer of this album. This album is full of many club bangers and still stands higher then anything Gaga (which i think most of her work is worthless) and any other artist have created.

- Worth listening to

As a true Britney fan, I am deeply offended when people say that Circus is her comeback album. Blackout is just as good, but was not publicized. Great songs! I think "Radar" is the best.

- GREAT JOB BRITNEY!!

this album really was the opener for her new AWESOME cd CIRCUS!!! (btw get it people)

- T H I S A L B U M S U C K S ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

SEE TITLE THIS IS ALL MIXED OVER AND HAS NO GROUNDBREAKING LYRICS THIS IS NOT THE OLD BRITNEY. MIZ BRITNEY IF YOU ARE OUT THEIR LOOKIN' AT THIS ONE WORD FOR U OUCH ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

- Circus is better!

While this wasn't my favorite album of 2007 it was still pretty good and better than her then last album "In The Zone." The lead single "Gimme More" was pop perfection and so was the addictive "Piece of Me." It's sad that not a lot of the singles from this album didn't get major radio airplay in 2007 except for "Break The Ice." My favrorite songs are: "Gimme More", "Piece of Me" and "Why Should I Be Sad." This isn't as good as her most recent album "Circus" but still pretty good and was the first Britney Spears album I ever bought.

- Pure energy!

High on energy and a purely danceable album, Blackout is definitely the Pop Princess's best work till date. In love with it.

- Very Well Produced

This was Britney's 5th studio album heres how I rank the songs: Gimme More: A very catchy club song, with cool lyrics, just a little repetive. 8.5/10 Piece of Me: My favorite track, with spectacular lyrics and nice beat. 10/10 Radar: Instantly Catchy, nice beat, could have been a hit. 8.5/10 Break the Ice: Her third single off the album, and is also very catchy, no the best music video for it though. 9/10 Heaven On Earth: A very sexy breathy tracks, great for the clubs. 8.5/10 Get Naked: I don’t have this song Freakshow: Good, catchy. 8/10 Toy Soldier: I think this could have been a single, its very different, and in a good way. 8.5/10 Hot As Ice: This track shows off her vocals the best and is my second favorite. 9/10 OOh OOh Baby: Catchy, nice. 8/10 Perfect Lover: A little strange, but still good. 8/10 Why Should I Be sad: Nice, but the weakest track. 6.5/10 How i recommend this album: If you love Britney: all of it If you think she's decent: piece of me, radar, break the ice, hot as ice, gimme more, toy soldier If you think she's ok: piece of me, hot as ice, break the ice

- This album is great for getting pumped up

Britney's music always needs to grow on me, and this album is no exception. However, I can say that a year later, this is one of my go-to albums to get me excited for a night out or to keep me on the treadmill. The songs I really don't like are Naked, Perfect Love, and Why Should I Be Sad. I love Heaven on Earth and Ooh Ooh Baby -- those songs are like a modern version of 80s pop. I like this album about the same or more than In The Zone, and I find her albums prior to ITZ are just unlistenable garbage (with a few exceptions).

- Britney Spears- Blackout Album Review

Let me just go ahead and say it, this album is great! Personally i think this is Britney's best album so far. Every song on the album is catchy and makes you wanna dance. The highlights on this album are "Gimme More", "Piece of Me", "Radar", and "Break the Ice". Overall, i give this album 5 out of 5 stars! This album is absolute masterpiece. Britney has really made a great comeback over the things shes gone through and i hope she keeps up all this good work throughout her career!

- This album "Breaks the Ice"

This album is awesomeeeee!!!! Dnt listen to the hugeeeee i mean humongous(think thats how you spell it thing above the album summery thing) okay Britney is doing what she does..... she is doing her thing. a must buy

- ok...

its ok... theres really no bad tracks, but there are only a few standouts. i really like break the ice and toy soldier. gimme more is pretty awesome too.definitely buy those 3.

- Fantastic album

If u don't like it u have no heart for music at all

- Britney's worst

Bitney's albums have progressively digressed with each effort culminating into this incredible waste of time by everyone that surrounded this project. I was routing for Britney to make a great come back but this seems more of a gotta put something out there shove it down their throats effort rather than a planned well thought out well written well produced production. Seems the only thing right with it is the title, 'cause it can be Blacked out of your neeed to listen to it.

- she is great!!!!!!!!!

i care what people say about her. but i have been listening to her since i was 2 years old and she still has the talent and its better.

- im a fan and always will be

if you are a true britney fan. then you know she rocks!!everything song is amazing!!to many people give her crap because of what she does. she is a good mom and a great singer and someone that will be around for a long time. you watch britney haters. she will be around rocking and kicking a** because is the tru queen of pop! she is amzng human and people have there problems and she is taking care of them just like a human should! love her music love being a fan! and TRUE FAN! i have been a fan since she came out and came back! sorry suckas!

- Kk...

Britney may not be the best role model, and her voice isn't so hott either, but some of her songs r actually kinda good. 'Peice of Me' and 'Toy Soldier' r the 2 best buys.

- Just not the same

Blackout is a pretty good CD, but it doesn't really sound like Britney. Even though she is growing up, I still miss the old Britney.

- It's an amzing album and buy.

Blackout was highly anticipated in 2007 and for good reason. Britney Spears last stepped on the music scene with a Greatest Hits Album in 2004 that was able to produce two singles. Three years later fans waited to see what the Britney that gave us moments like her 2000 and 2001 VMA performance would bring. To our surprise she came back with a shaved head, a new album, and a breakdown that will resonate for years to come. The album "Blackout" was much different from her previous works that put her at the top of the pop scene. This album came back with electro popping sounds and a collection of stripper anthems. To many fans disappointment Britney's voice came back far more electronic than ever before. But non the less Britney and her team were able to put an album with a fresh new sound that would match the listening power of "FutureSex/LoveSounds" and "Good Girl Gone Bad." The album was lively but with a dark electronic tone to match Britney's life. The first single off the album was her second biggest success at the time since "...Baby One More Time" because it managed to debut at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Of course now Britney's biggest success is "Womanizer" from her 2008 album "Circus"). I will rate the rest of the album track by track on a 10 scale. 1. Gimme More 9/10: Gimme More came in at bad time for Britney along with her MTV VMA performance. Other than that the song was a huge success. The album is filled with a memorable introduction at best. The rest of the song is a repetitive low and dark synth sound along with a bunch of "Hoo-Ahh's" and of course the meorable repetition of "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, More." The song has a good club sound and it did fare well at the club scene becoming the stripper anthem of 2007. The song isn't formulaic it contains intro, verse, chorus, verse bridge, chorus, bridge, chorus and outro. This was the first single off the album. 2. Piece of Me 10/10: This is Britney's most personal songs with the likes of "Everytime" and "I'm not a Girl, Not Yet A Woman." Although this song is not a ballad it contains lyrics, like the ballads named above, that are exposing her to whoever is listening. This is very naturally raucnhy with the sex monas in the intro. It's very electronic, along with Britney's voice. This is one of Britney's most critically acclaimed songs. This song also fares well at the club scene due to it's heavy electronic clatter. In this song Britney retaliates to her number 1 enemy: the paparazzi. This track was the second single off of this album. 3. Radar 8/10: Radar is another heavy electronic song. Britney is singing about the usual stuff: finding a hot guy and trying to hook up with him. It's nothing special other than the fact that it can be catchy. This was the proposed 4th single for Blackout, but due to the recording of "Circus," Jive decided to pull it out and it is now included as a bonus track on Britney's 6th studio album "Circus." This song fares well in the clubs as well. 4. Break the Ice 8/10: Another heavy electronic sound where Britney is trying to break the ice between her and some guy. This is not her strongest single because it contains similarities to her 2001 hit "I'm a Slave 4 U," with the heavy breathing. This song contains many well put musical elements like the heavy emphasis on the synthesizer and the quick beat of the 808 drum machine, and most of all the slow dance breakdown it has towards the end of the song. This was the third single off of the album. 5. Heaven on Earth 9/10: This song is another track with an electronic emphasis but with a feel of songs out of the 1980's. This is the most unique song on the album. it carries along with a trance-like feel to it. This song is another great dance/club number. 6. Get Naked 6/10: This song contains similarities in the dark tone to "Gimme More." They were produced by the same producer, Nate "Danja" Hills. This song contains a great dark club-like instrumental but is quickliy ruined by the vocals put on by "Danja," the producer. This song has great potential but "Danja's" vocals are a turn off. 7. Freakshow 9/10: This is another great song. It's lyrical context is interesting because she's again talking about the paparazzi, but this time she's telling people she is with to help her give the pap's a freakshow. The song is put together by a great mixes of deep synthesizers and sound effects along with a high pitched thump. 8. Toy Soldier 8/10: This song is another with amazing potential that is ruine by Britney's exaggerated vocals. This song is still one of the great songs on the album because it's one of the most up-beat songs with an accompanying drum machine that matches the soldier drum march. 9 Hot As Ice 5/10: This song is the most of the silliest songs on the album. it's also the worst. With a preaching choir to accompany Britney, we hear Britney talk highly of herself and her sexuality, yet again. This song was produced by T. Pain, and now we've learned to leave T. Pain miles away from the recording studio (along with his awful new album "Three-Rings"). 10. Ooh Ooh Baby 8/10: This song contains the closest thing to Britney's actual vocals because they weren't overly exaggerated by the producers. This song samples the beat for some song, whose name I already forgot because it's so old. Anyways, it's a good enough song. Catchy at best, but nothing special. 11. Perfect Lover 7/10: Another upbeat song about sex. The best part of the song is that dark instrumental outro with an accompanying drum machine. 12. Why Should I be Sad 7/10: This is the closest thing to a ballad on this album. The song was produced by Pharrell Williams and was obviously about her failed marriage to Kevin Federline. The lyrics expose a lot about the relationship, but it wasn't based on Britney's perspective on the break up which makes this song loose it's credibility quickly. Overall, I give the album a 7.8/10.

- Probably my favorite Britney album. :3

Britney may have gone through some tough, insane times in her life, but that has nothing to do with her music. This album has the best beats, the best cover, great bonus tracks, and the best album name. Not many people recognize this as a good album, considering what she was going through at the time. But it is, in my opinion, her stand-out album. Gimme More- Looonng song... x__x; And repetitive. Not the best on the album, but it's a great song. The chorus could be better, (gimme gimme... gimme... gimme gimme gimme...) but the dancing and musical beat is fantastic. 8/10. Piece Of Me- One of the songs you can listen to over and over again. Incredible beat, great lyrics, and her voice takes a very interesting tone in it. 9/10. Radar- Great. Song. Should have been a single. If I had to compare this song with something, I would say Toxic. Both are very similar in beats and vocal range. Not the most stand-out of the album, but it most likely would be if they would have just made it a single then. Radar will always be a Blackout song, and it was dumb of them adding it again to Circus. But it got it's chance to be a single, which is all that matters. Because it's a great song. 9/10. (Would be 10/10, but it's a little repetitive.) Break The Ice- Another fantastic beat on the album. Can't really say much about it, since it's not a very original song- but it's awesome. And I'll leave it at that. 9/10. Heaven On Earth- Not exactly a filler, but not my favorite. :[ 6/10. Get Naked (I Got A Plan): Good beat, funny lyrics, but messy. It barely has Britney singing, and the other guy's voice is annoying. 6/10. Freakshow- Best dancing beat I've heard in my life. Although the end is weird, and sort of annoying, (Me and my girls 'bout to get it on, grab us a couple boys to go) it's probably my favorite from the album. 9/10 (not 10/10 because of the cheesy part at the end.) Toy Soldier- Good beat, good lyrics, fun, danceable, and original. The most stand-out of the album. Not my favorite, but very original. 8.5/10. Hot As Ice- Sexy, fun lyrics, and a good beat along with it. Very nice. :D Funnest song on the album. 9/10. Ooh Ooh Baby- Fun, sexy with a stomping beat. Not exactly a dancing song, but a good song. 7.5/10. Perfect Lover- Seems like a song that she's already done. But it's got a nice beat. 7/10. Why Should I Be Sad- I'd like to say it was a good conclusion to the album, but it wasn't. Good beat, but her voice sounds funny in it, and you can barely hear what she's say. My least favorite on the album. :[ Overall album rating- 9/10.

- Totally Underrated

Okay. So I heard horrible things about this album. So, naturally, I had to find out myself just how "bad" it really was. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. In my opinion, "Blackout" is MUCH better than "Circus", it just wasn't marketed with the correct enthusiasm. The songs are so catchy, upbeat, and wonderful to listen to! Of course, i didnt bother to listen to a few of the tracks due to their unneccesary explicit content, but otherwise, it was very good. I loved "Gimme More", "Hot As Ice", "Toy Soldier", and "Ooh Ooh Baby".

- dont hate

if you dont like britney dont write a pointless review about how much you hate her. its really annoying

- Piece of Delisciousness. In your face, K-Fed!

After all this chaos Britney had to go through, this album is a perfect come-back to it all. Incredible pop music with some solid beats. Preview the songs and find out.

- Ooh Ooh Baby :o

This album is F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S.!!! 10 out of 10 best album!!!:)

- Although it's her carrer Worst...

It's also her best. This album, although she didn't write anysongs, She told the writers what she wanted. She SANG with the though "Oh. I want to sing out my true feelings". It's one of the best of her, even though this album is the lowest selling album ever by Britney. But then, the best thing about this album is, It's a number 2 Album!!! All other Britney albums are number 1, except for this. That is supposed to be bad, but this album's a breakdown. Yet, it's number 2! And number 2 is britney's worst. Think about other people. Like... Ashley Tisdale, her BEST was only a number 5. That atually means, "Ashley's best is worst than Britney's Worst". Also like mariah carey, this is her worst album. Yet, it's first week sales beat carey's "BEST" first week sales. This album's first week sales are 100,000, and compared to a pop star like mariah carey (With the most number1 hits), yet, mariah's "BEST" is worst than brit's "WORST". So what does this album tell us? How ever upsetting or bad brit is, she's still a legend. No1 can beat her at albums. She is now "the only female artist to have her entire album collection at the top 1 and 2 spots of bilboard 200 charts which is a very hard to break record.

- Britney Spears

Britney has killed it with this album with her #1 hits Piece of Me, Gimme More, and Break the Ice! Keep on rockin Britney or shall I say Pop Princess Diva!

- best of brit

She will never top this album .. this will be her best work .. sad that she was in a black out when she wrote it would have loved to see sum hot videos .. lets hope she does nto turn into littel kid music agin like before. Circus is a ok album better then in the zone but not as edgy as black out .. im not a britney fan but this album is hottttttt !!!

- Love u

I love u Britney ur consert at the contey tell in LA was awsome

- Amazin'!!!!

Yes! iTunes fix Gimme More, now is on the 4:11 how must be along time and now is on iTunes Plus!!! Here's my review of the best album ever done, i still hear it everyday... 1.Gimme More: Is not the best song producin' by Danja, but is cool. New, fresh, but not my favorite. Have a lot of Gimme, Gimme and Danja talk extreamly so much...But i can stop hearin' 4/5. 2. Piece Of Me: A lot of people like this songs, because is what Britney say to the Paparazzi and Tabloids, but on the sound is not the goodes. 4/5 3. Radar: Amazing! A great song! It's like the new Toxic. 5/5 4.Break The Ice: I like this song when i hear on the demo, but the endin' now doesn't like me too much. Is a cool and funny song, if u like dance this song is great to do that. 5/5 5. Heaven On Earth: Is Britney's favorite song and she's right, 'cause she never do somethin' like this. Is like rocky, electronic and pop. All together. Very eclectic!. 5/5 6. Get Naked: At first is the worst song on this album, Danja do a very bad arregements here. He appears a lot, more than Britney. This is not a duet... 3/5 7. Freakshow: Other good song, very Peep jejeje. Freak!! And Britney do a great job here on the lyrics, she rap's like sh*t, go girl!. 5/5 8. Toy Soldier: This song is a new pop, no one have a song like this. Amazing producer works and don't sound like Gwen Stefani, OMG the new HIT. 5/5 or 7/5 jejeje. 9. Hot As Ice: This is like Britney style. Is rememberin' her first album, but mature. The voice and music are 100% pop. 4/5 10. Ohh Ohh Baby: Cool and fresh song. Have a spanish guitarr at first. Interestin'. 4/5 11. Perfect Lover: This song is SEXYand HOT. Looks like Timbaland is here jejeje Sounds like Erotic from Madonna, but on Britney's way...u know. 5/5 12. Why Should I Be Sad: Here Britney talk about her ex housband and her problems. Is not the best work of Pharrell, but the lyrics are so intense 'bout the moments Britney been through. 4/5 And i recomend u buy the Bonus Track Version too: 13. Get Back: Spectacular! This song rocks! definytly the comeback of Ms. Spears! Wonderful Bonus! 5/5 14. Junkie XL Dub: Why this track is here? Is one of the most horrible remix ever! Bad bad bad. iTunes...why? 1/5 15. Everybody: This song must be on the #14, not #15, OMG. Whatever...is a fun song, very pop. Produce by J.R. Is very Pop Princess! 3/5 The album is excelent, i recomended this so much. U don't gonna waist you're money, because this album is WOW! IMPRESS! Blackout 5/5. The singles are: Gimme More Piece Of Me

- great comeback

britney gets soo much stick from the press but she has come back with an AMAZING new album! everyone buy! its a great comeback for her, i've always loved britney but she's now bigger than ever :D

- It's Britney b***h!

A really good album! Despite all her personal dramas, the girl has managed to find time to churn out a collection of credible beat-heavy, eletro-funk pop tracks. Granted the vocals aren't so strong and there is nothing particularly original about the material or subject matter covered, but this album does exaclty what her previous efforts do - gets you dancing! I've been a Britney fan for years and this album is far from a disappointment. Piece of Me and Break the Ice are definately the standout tracks, although there isn't a single song I wouldn't listen to!

- Shes back!

Britney is back and it is quite a good album despite all her recent troubles in the press of late. The album kicks of with Gimme More and follows with the same beat and style through out most of the album Piece of Me is all about the press attention that she faces day in and day out. The only problem with this album is that it sounds very similar to Madonna's Confessions On a Dance Floor. But Great album to get you in the mood for a Friday or Saturday Night out with the girls! Welcome back Britney!

- Oh dear oh dear

After hearing Gimme More I was quite looking forward to her album but after hearing it I'm very disappointed. It just sounds all the same and it's just boring (yes I know this is Britney we're talking about). I think she's just rushed this comeback and there's not any soul in this album at all. Buy Gimme More but that is it. Manufactured nonsense.

- Britneyyyyy Isss Thaaa Besttt !!!!

Britney's new album is britney's best album. Blackout is a cracking album with some amazing tracks. However the songs deterate as the album goes on. Why Should I Be Sad Is Not To Good, Gimme More & Piece Of Me Are The Best Songs On The Album. Anyway Britney's Album Is Amazing! I Love It. Britney You Are Amazinggggg..

- Britney

This album is truly amazing. "Gimme More" "Piece of Me" "Radar" and "Break the Ice" are brilliant songs, Britney's style in this album is so different than the previous albums. She completely reinvents herself with each song but keeps her original vocal touch. Britney might have had crazy troubles lately but this a seriously amazing comeback that we've all been waiting for, and it couldn't of come at a better time for her and the rest of the world. I love her and this album really holds the best of Britney. xxxx xxxx

- Different, Unusual, Unique, Bizzar

Despite expecting the worst this, album is very very good! I ony disliked 2 out of the 12 tracks :)

- Its ok

There are deffo some good songs, but i wouldnt really say its a *wow* kind of album...
