- R&B at its finest

DC's the Writings on the wall truly embodies what R&B music has grown to be. It encompasses the velvety smooth sound of Anita Baker the Hip-Hop Soul of Mary J. Blige and the blues of the Motown days. However it stays true their fanbase and as broad as that scope is they do it an elegant ease. Standout tracks are: Now That She's Gone She Can't Love You Bills, Bills, Bills Say My Name If You Leave Temptation

- This is why they are the best selling girl group of all times!!

Omg they were young.. but age ain't nothing but a number.. THIS CD is INCREDIBLE!!!! The harmonies are soo well put together.. Beyonce's solos and adlibs carry the group extremely well in this entire album!!!

- One of the best cd's from the 90's

I love Beyonce, but the other girls have uniqe voices as well! This is one of their best cd's!

- The best DC Album Ever

Simply The Best.

- One of DC's Finest.

I love every single song on This album. It is truly amazing. The Writings On the Wall In time will be a classic.

- The album that made DC superstars!!!!

Even though this album was made before the Michelle Williams-Bootylicious glory days, it is a great album made by the then quartet. The singles "Bills Bills Bills," "Bug A Boo," "Say My Name," and "Jumpin Jumpin" were all great contributions to R&B and pop music when they charted. However, do not let those singles define the greatness of this album. The strongest song in this set is by far "So Good." Why that song was never turned into a single-I do not know. Another upliftting song is the ballad "Now That She's Gone." The song shows strength in the melody through harmonies as well as Kelly Rowland's notable contribution to the group (as she sings the first verse). If it's the power-pop song you're looking for then look no further than "Hey Ladies" and "Where'd You Go." This album responds to all the musical senses and defines the era that Destiny's Child dominated.

- Back In the ITunes Store, Again!

So glad that this album, one of the best albums ever, is back in the store! With all the missing songs from before, too! Here's a rundown of this awesome album. 1. Intro: 8/10 Very interesting intro, see what you get from it. 2. So Good: 10/10 Uplifting song, trying to eliminate any haters. 3. Bills, Bills, Bills: 10/10 Awesome teen pop song, the obvious hit, great, catchy rhymes. 4. Confessions: 10/10 A very realistic story about confessing that you cheated on him. 5. Bug A Boo: 10/10 This is the best song on the album in my opinion, so catchy. 6. Temptation: 10/10 Showcases just how beautiful and soulful their voices are in harmony. 7. Now That She's Gone: 6/10 I never really liked this song, but Kelly does a great lead job. 8. Where'd You Go: 8/10 A pretty good song, but it does get a little boring. 9. Hey Ladies: 10/10 One of the missing songs from the previous release on iTunes, the second best here. 10. If You Leave: 10/10 It seems like this song is a romance story in a movie, I love this song. 11. Jumpin', Jumpin': 10/10 This song makes me want to get up and dance! 12. Say My Name: 10/10 The biggest hit on the album, it is such a fun song to sing/dance to. 13. She Can't Love You: 9/10 The first verse must have been a mouthful, but they pulled it off, yes! 14. Stay: 10/10 This song is so pretty, it is one of the last of the powerful 90's ballads. 15. Sweet Sixteen: 10/10 It sends a good message to teens that they have their whole life ahead. 16. Outro: 10/10 Beautiful outro, yet another missing treasure from before. I love this version of Amazing Grace. Album overall: 10/10 MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!

- Great R&B album

"Say My Name" and "Confessions" are amazing.

- The best

Best dc cd ever.. Beyonce is way overated

- Great album, great memories!

I love Destiny's Child but please buy the actual CD in a store not on iTunes becuase itunes gives the songs at low quality which is 128 kbps AAC format. Do it they way I did it, buy the actual CD and rip it to your itunes Library at 320 kbps format AAC.

- THE CD THAT MADE THEM FAMOUS!!!!

This CD has everything a good girl group should have!!! Beat, rhythm, harmony. This is the best!!! Bills,Bills, Bills, Bug a Boo, and Say My Name are definatly a favorite!!! Beyonce sounds great even she was so young!!! This is a must have for eveeryone who are Beyonce fans!!!! She wasnt sexy in here like in Dangerously in Love, but she was the "it" girl!! Great job ladies!!

- love it

SAY MY NAME is my favorit SONG ever

- THE BEST D.C. CD

I am a true Destiny's Child fan but to me this album was their best one. They had number one hits one after the other. Unlike other cd's this was one of the only ones I did not skip through. Every song is great.

- Destiny's Child At It's Best

"The Writing's On The Wall" was DC's best work. Destiny's Child has perfect 4-part harmony and Beyonce for her young age, led so well. The album had the best producers that brought the girls to their best vocal ability. Though I wished LeToya, LaTavia, and Kelly had more leads, the album is great and can be played from the intro to the outro without skipping. Every group male/female should definately listen to this album and take notes! To sum everything up this album is CLASSIC!

- The Writing's On the Wall

This was the last studio album recorded before LaTavia and LeToya quit Destiny's Child. There was much drama that followed during the split. The two were replaced (by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin) as soon as the last music video shoot for this album, Say My Name. Beyonce had obviously taken control of the group by this point; on their self-titled debut, there wasn't really a leader yet. However, album sales compared to their debut had jumped greatly, from worldwide sales of 2 million (on their debut) to worldwide sales of 13 million on this album. 4 singles came from this album, Say My Name, Bills Bills Bills, Jumpin' Jumpin', and Bug A Boo, two of which went to gold status. I just love this album because each song is sincere and really depicts ups and downs of relationships and growing up.

- Finally

FINALLY, I dont know what happened but this album was here a couple of years ago and then it dissapeared, but now its back. One of the best Destiny's Child Cd's ever! All songs are worth ever cent.
