Yes I know I'm only echoing the cacophony here, but I'm really annoyed that Carrie's single is "Album Only." Same with "Ever Ever After" off the Enchanted Album. My hope is that if we complain enough the record company will relent. And people, DON'T BUY THE WHOLE ALBUM just for the one song. We're trying to boycott here!

iTunes would love for you to be able to buy any song w/out having to buy the whole cd. They sell more ipods if people can have all the songs the want to own. iTunes has worked hard to keep all songs at .99 because if they sell more songs they sell more ipods, which is where the real money is. Some artists don't sell long songs w/out the whole cd, some do. My guess is that it's Carrie's lawyers or the record company who don't want to sell the song alone.

She is so amazing! No wonder they have you buying the entire album if you wanna hear her. Do it!!! You won't regret it!

I think it's extremely unfair - but also smart on iTunes's part - to make a customer buy a whole album in order to get Carrie Underwood's amazing version of the Christmas classic "Do You Hear What I Hear". As a huge fan of Carrie and her beautiful voice, I have to say I definitely wasn't disappointed, but I just spent $10.99 on a country Christmas album, and I do not listen to ANY country music, nor do I plan to (with the exception of Carrie Underwood). Anyways, I guess it's not so bad, because all thetracks are great traditional songs, but I hope iTunes can be more generous to their customers in the future.

Well, not surprisingly this is another statement from an annoyed fan, as it is completely unfair of iTunes to take advantage of its customers this way. Not only would they probably make just as much, if not more, money leaving Carrie Underwood's "Do You Hear What I Hear" as a single song available for purchase, but they would have much happier customers who are at the moment becoming more and more fed up with iTunes usual greed, especially during the holidays. Dont get me wrong, most of the artists on this album are great singers, but forcing customers to buy the entire album to get one song completely defeats the purpose of iTunes' existance....I think I speak for everyone ( and am even quoting many other previous reviews ) when I say, get RID of album only songs, before you alienate the better part of your buyers

Carrie Underwood, amazing singer, but iTunes is probably doing that just to make the whole album be bought, just like they do anything other songs that they know EVERYONE would buy. but all of these artists are amazing so buy the entire thing anyways if you really want to hear Carrie's song and stop complaining about it. this is the best country christmas collection ever. because it's got most of the best country singers ever, everything from Johnny Cash to Kellie Pickler to Alan Jackson. the best songs on here are: Do You Hear What I Hear (carrie) Santa Baby (kellie) O Come All Ye Faithful (martina) and Winter Wonderland (brad)... even though im not a big fan of Brad's other music. great mix of old and new, definately recommend downloading! just to get the carrie song! she's amazing.

There shoudn't even be stars put up because this is very disappointing, its christmas and I don't think itunes should be ripping people off. Where's the christmas spirit? Everyone loves Carrie Underwood, and its shameful that they're having peope buy the whole CD when they could be using the money to buy gifts for others. No, you can't buy Carrie Underwood's track without buying the whole album, but people, this is NOT the fault of iTunes or Apple. It's the record companies that limit what is purchased. Apple is on YOUR side in this argument. The record companies force iTunes to release it this way, or they would not get this album at all. Please, stop posting comments that blame iTunes. the title of this album is "Hear Something Country christmas 2007". i wanna hear something country christmas on my ipod. but i cant because Carrie Underwood's version of 'Do You Hear What I Hear' is only attainable by buying the whole album. this is a great album but shame on itunes to make itunes users buy the whole album just for one song when thats mainly what we want. i think this should be taken under consideration because i know it's not just me who wants that song.

the best songs on this album are the keith anderson and kellie pickler songs. the eagles version is still my fav, but keith can sing.

I am debating on buying it, but not because of the 'album only' carrie underwood song, I just dont know if I should spend the 11 dollars when I only have 30 ha ha ha. For everyone that is TRUE country fan, you should definitely buy this ablum. The two-and-a-half star rating just relfects everyone's resentment for Carrie Underwood's song being album only. Although some of them are from past albums released by the singers, this album brings together all the great songs. Alan Jackson's "Let It Be Christmas" is absolutely amazing. I definately recommend this ablum if you're looking for actual country singers (like the title says) and not just Carrie Underwood.

I am not really a country fan but like a couple of the artists voices who are on here and altough I do not own there albums because it is country I have heard both artists sing non country and love it. I would by their song from here because it is christmas and I am collecting christmas songs. The problem is one of the two artists on this album in order to purchase the song you must buy the entire album. I hate that. Yes The one I am talking about is Carrie Underwood's song "Do you hear what I hear" I also like Kellie Piclers song Santa Baby. so for this reason I am not buying the one song I like from this album. why does itunes do this? The album is great, I enjoy all the songs, but again, I am in agreement with many who think it's a shame that iTunes is only offering Underwood as an album only purchase...Bad for your faithful customers iTunes, and bad for business, what a shame.

iTunes is a business, not your friend. They do what is best for them, and what is best for the artist. You don't like the album, don't buy it. You want the song, buy the whole thing and quit whining. Go somewhere else if you want a better deal.

Does Carrie Underwood request that ALL her songs be album only or does itunes just want to milk the Carrie fans into buying entire albums in order to get her one song? It seems whenever Carrie appears on a complilation album her track is listed as album only. Well I'm not buying an entire album to get that one song.

I was skeptical, but bought the album anyway. It is definitely a worthwhile compilation. Carrie Underwood is amazing.
