Most of the songs are fun and catchy but after watching the movie, I realize how much music was left off the soundtrack. And unfortunately, it seems like all the best dance music IS NOT on this soundtrack. Personally, I think if your paying for a soundtrack, it should include ALL the music from the film -- even if that means making it a two CD set.

The tracks on here are sick, especially Killa and Girl you know, only thing I don't like is that this album don't have all the songs from the movie, we all want tha bounce remix and swizz beatz - money in the bank should be on here coz it was only played a little bit in the movie but its such a good tune it deserves to be on here. Worth the purchase!

Having seen the first Step Up, which I loved all the music too, I bought the music for Step Up 2 before seeing the film. Smart move I must say as every time a song came on I thought tune! Low, Killa, Is It You, Church, Ching-A-Ling, 369 are personal favourites but the best song on the album is Say Cheese. The beat is incredible and I can't wait to play this when I next DJ. One critisism, maybe two, there is no Timbaland or Robin Thicke which is the salsa song, Everything I Can't Have. But otherwise, one of the best soundtracks for a film I have ever heard. If you like this, you'll love the Step Up soundtrack. Tunes.

"Is it you" and "Impossible" made this album bearable for me, i REALLY wanted "Killa" but its album only..., US have it available on many albums, why not here as it is not a case of Copyright ect. as we can still get it but a huge cost. Its this kind of thing that people turn to illegal download to rather than the legal way.
